The series started extremely strong, got weird in the middle and then it was over. I would say reading it wasn't a complete waste of time ... but yeah. It's such a let down, the whole story was a trip to nowhere.

This manga is about a family who wakes up with amnesia after a car crash. I really enjoy the concept of discovering the truth of the family members past. We do this along side the son who also tries to solve the problems, so their family can be happy together.
It's definitely a dark manga and the themes can be triggering for some.

Liar x Liar starts off as a romantic comedy, the main character accidentally meets her step-brother while wearing a high-school cosplay and they start dating. He doesn't know that she's actually his step-sister and the whole story goes from there. It's a mess but you can't stop reading because the whole situation gets more and more complicated and you're dying to know how it ends.

This is a pretty depressing read.
The art is beautiful and the story is addicting to read. It dives deep into dark themes and gives a good psychological insight on these women. The main focus is sex work (nothing explicit) but this manga also deals with plastic surgery, self harm, obsession, debt and violence. The story starts of with Yuki but with every arc we gain a new main character, while the others fall into the background. However they are always connected in some kind of way. The art is absolutely stunning, everything is very detailed and well drawn.
The story follows an unsuccessful actress who by chance meets an A-list actor and their relationship develops from there. They have a healthy relationship with good communication and no unneccessary drama. It's refreshing that there is no rival woman, the only villain is her ex bf. But the main focus is their relationship and her path to success. It's cute and mature, nothing is over the top. The pacing is very good and the story wraps up nicely in the end. I definitely would read it again, even if it's just to look at the art.

Whatever expectations you have from reading the title and the synopsis, the manga is absolutely not like that.
I was very prejudiced when I started reading this manga and thought I would drop it fast, after all the MC was this fat ugly guy who turned back in time to take his wife's virginity. This is a precious and heartwarming story about a woman and her doll.
Yumi is leading a pretty unhappy and lonely life but through Kurumi she finds happiness, love and confidence. Since it's slice of life, it's basically Yumi's daily life where she's mostly at work but Kurumi is that little fantasy element that changes it. The story wraps up pretty quick since it's only 8 chapters but it never gets boring and even has some action. The art is really cute and detailed, it conveys so much emotion that it even made me cry once or twice. I will definitley read it again, maybe I'll even sew ...

A wholesome manga with a little bit of spice.
The synopsis did sound a bit weird at first but once you get over it and start reading, you will be pleasantly surprised. It just about an adorable couple where the girl sweats a bit much and the guy loves her smell. There's no unnecessary drama and no huge obstacles to overcome. It's just about them and the challenges of normal and healthy relationships. Like every healthy couple they also have sex, it's nothing too nsfw just a bit steamy (and good-smelling). That was my reaction to every chapter I read. Okusama wa Joshikousei isn't really an outstanding manga. The story was ok, not really special and got very annoying rather fast. They could have stopped making the manga after ~chapter 50. The art was decent, not my favorite but that is a personal thing. Also there were a lot of boobs panty shots, so be prepared! This is like watching a train wreck or a bad accident. You want to look away but you can't stop watching it.
The word that describes the anime best is: Idiotic (like Ninomiya) Not in a bad way, though. There is no special story line, it's like a bunch of filler episode.
