Based on the evidence, as of episode three , I am deducing that this will be my favourite anime of the season.
That the story revolves around solving mundane puzzles while a deep and compelling mystery builds around them is a good indicator of craftsmanship. Mix in characters whose motivations are themselves mysterious, who are clearly extremely talented detectives and yet so deliberately resisting their own genius and fighting the blatant call to adventure and I predict a solid story with rich pacing and delicious details throughout.
I love classic detective stories and loved Hyouka so ... I'm probably an ideal viewer but I highly recommend this to all lovers of subtle storytelling.

I love the series. Start at the begining. I can't reccomend it enough. The first episode sets the standard and there are enough solid gold episodes in the series to put it in the top ten of my all time favourites.

I love spy stuff and the steampunk aesthetic but mostly its the protagonists like hard as nails Ange and secretly hard as nails Princess Charlotte who make it worth watching.

I have a feeling they're not going to ever do this series justice. When I was in Japan I saw a note at the anime store from the director saying he'd finish the project if ... enough people bought an Ange doll.

Well I don't have an Ange doll but I will never get tired of A Page of My Story, for all its errors of lexical stress and I hope the fans can keep this going long enough to get to the resolution it deserves.
