**** SHORT REVIEW (Kind of)****

As an casual anime watcher who usually despises Moe based anime , I didn't really expect anything good from this series when i started watching but this series proved me wrong and completely surprised me !!
Comic girls is a light-hearted comedy/ slice of life anime where the story revolves around the daily lives of female mangakas and tries to explains the effort behind creating a successful manga/comic series.

Now, lets cut right to chase shall we?

Story: 9/10
A simple yet interesting story which revolves around a girl named ... Kaoruko Moeta who moves into a dormitory to improve her manga where she meets other female mangaka of the same age. The story takes you on a road trip around the daily lives of the mangakas with perfectly timed comedy and beautifully portrayed and well timed emotional scenes. Overall, I really loved the story but I felt as a slice of life anime it should have been more realistic (the amount of kindness shown towards main character is absurd and unrealistic!! but of-course this is just my opinions :P). But other than that its a well deserved 9/10 for the story.

Art: 10/10
This is by far the most captivating part of the anime,the art style is moe with bright and delicately colored backgrounds which perfectly blends with the anime itself. The animation is smooth,colorful and realistic which makes you feel like you right beside the characters experiencing the moment. After a very long time I got the thought :- "the art can't get any better than this.". Easily a 10/10 for me.

Sound: 9/10
The opening and ending themes perfectly match the feels from the anime. And the ost and voices of the characters were splendidly done and well placed. 9/10 here.

Character: 9/10
I never thought I would say this but the character were well developed and well portrayed for a 12-episode anime ,even the support characters were used exceptionally well. Each character had their own individual traits and very interesting backgrounds.
A very well deserved 9/10 here.

Enjoyment: 10/10
At no point of the episodes was i bored or even looked away from the screen. I was completely immersed into the show so again 10/10 here.(The fresh art style,story and character completely immersed me into the show)

Overall : 9/10
If you have ever felt you needed to take a break/escape from common psychological,horror,...etc genre of anime, I recommend you watch this series because it will leave you with a refreshed and calm mindset with a warm and cozy feeling in your heart. But I felt that it follows the usual high school girl path which disappointed a little since I wanted an adult perspective of being a mangaka but other than that the anime nailed it and hence the score.

*(By the way if you are interested in knowing how a manga is made and what type of dedication it requires i highly recommend you watch this anime)*

Overall, this is definitely on my "recommended" list.

2) Well-timed comedy moments
3) Characters were well voiced and portrayed
4) Art/Animation is beautiful
5) Ending was satisfactory

CONS:
1) Moe (Yes, both negative and positive of the show)
2) Same old High Schooler's perspective (though we do get adult-perspectives of being a mangaka at the end)

Are u the type who loves exploring and loves to spend some time around travelling witnessing the beauty of what nature has to offer?
If yes, then look no further ,Yuru Camp aka Laid-back camp is just the anime you are looking for.

Lets jump into the reviewing part of this wonderful slice of life anime:

Story: 8/10
This story revolves around camping in general as the name of the anime suggests, this is the kind of anime where u sit back and enjoy what it has to offer.There is not much of a plot here it just about a group of girls who enjoy camping.There ... is also light hearted comedy and cutness which melts u away.

Art: 9/10
This anime has stunning visuals and the art style perfectly blends with genre of SOL.
each moment was a pleasure to watch and felt breath taking.The art makes u feel like you are actually right beside the characters experiencing the moment which was enough to give this anime a well deserved 9/10 in the art department.

Characters : 8/10
Typical moe characters doing their moe things which for the first time i felt it was CUTE and not overexagerated. There is not much character development here in this anime as it focuses on the enjoyment part which I'm glad they did.

Sound: 9/10
The background music perfectly synced into the moment and makes u feel warm and cozy inside. The ending and opening themes matched the theme of the anime and were good. Now coming to the voice of the characters, it was great,cute and refreshing to hear, therefore justifiying my rating of 9/10 in the sound department.

Enjoyment : 10/10
When you finish the anime, it will leave u with a "heartily content" look and u will look at the environment around you with an optimistic aproach and a bright smile (like this " :) " lol). So this will have to get a whooping 10/10 for giving me the pleasure of watching such an art peice.

Overall: 9/10
This anime is all about the experience it gives while watching and not about the plot or characters.If u are like me who was fed up watching these typical harem , shonen and gore /horror and want escape this madness to watch something else,then this is exactly "your cup of tea". I personally would put it to the "must watch category" to all those casual anime watchers out there.

FINAL VERDICT : If these conditions apply ,then i gaurantee that you will have a refreshing experience so what are you waiting for just stop thinking and GO FOR IT!!

Please take most of the reviews here with a grain of salt .Reading the reviews here can be discouraging and may make you feel that this series is worse than boku no pico.
(i have not read manga but will have to considering how bad root A was)

Now lets jump right into the reviewing part:

Story : 7/10
The story starts of revolving around the "war" between ghouls and humans where our protonganist faces an unfortunate incident due to which he becomes part ghoul part human. As the story progresses, we ... can see that all ghouls are not necessarily bad and we end up sympathising with them ( never thought i will feel sorry for cannibals lol). The story is pretty well thought out but the amount of plot holes is absurd and we do not get in depth explaination of what is actually going on here.So,this is the kind of show where u turn your "brain off"and watch(which is a shame since it had such potential).

Art: 8/10
A mixture of dark and vibrant colours blends perfectly with the genre of the anime making it very pleasable to the eye. Episode 1 immediately piques your interest.There is also shitty censoring which can be overlooked by uncensored version in blue ray discs. So 8/10 here

Sound: 9/10
Opening and ending songs were beautiful and amazing , definitely 10/10 if it weren't so over used in the series.

Charcaters: 6/10
The amount of development the charcters get is pathetic and negligable.
At the end of the show the only names i could remember were kaneki,touka,hinami and kureo mado (probably the coolest charcater).
One more thing is that characters like rize are not at all given development which i found annoying as she plays an important role in kaneki's life.

enjoyment: 9/10
The one thing this anime excells at is ENJOYMENT. I was never bored while watching this anime.The fights/Action scences were pretty cool and had just the right amount of gore to make it enjoyable. Even though the anime is a tad below average in terms of character develpment and pacing( but definitely better than some shows which i watched) ,it makes up for it by the entertainment aspect ,so its easily a well deserved 9/10 here.

Overall: 7+1/10 = 8/10 (+1 is just to troll the manga readers and the complete hate that some reviews had which made no sense lol).
Though this series lacks in depth plot and characters it manages to be entertaining (which is the whole point of animes of this genre) and catches your interest quickly.This anime DOES NOT live up to the hype in any way but if u like Attack on Titan then you might like this anime as well (As i told before watch this anime based completely on entertainment factor i.e brain off).Overall to sum it up this series is pretty average (considering the flaws) and falls in the category of "watchable" but I guess it isn't suitable for everyone ,though I personally would recommend to give it a try lol.

P.S (Yes,this series is far from perfect but it isn't bad enough to rate it 4,3,2,1. I dont know why there is so much hate for it ,it is way better than some animes i have watched and at the end it delivers what is most important :- "Entertainment")

Pros:
-Entertainment( gore, action scences and few emo/comedy elements).
-Sound is a A++
-Art was good
-Story has potential to a make it self better (sadly, it wasn't the case so i will act like root A never existed)

Cons:
-lack of character development
-extremely rushed
-An absurd number of plot holes.
-has a pathetic sequel (just ignore and read the manga , resume anime from tokyo ghoul re)

I'll cut right to the chase, this anime can be described in 1 word :-
"INTELLECTUAL BAIT"
Story: 8
The story is the typical time travel based theme where the protogonist goes back and forth in time to prevent /change the future. The plot is pretty good but is predictable(well,atleast for me).I liked the fact that the characters all had an important part to play in the story. One more thing i would like to point out is the ending.
It was what u call a complete "asspull".

Art: 8
I liked the art since it was based on dark colours which matched the theme of this anime.

... sound: 7
All i can say is it suits the anime. Not too good but not too bad either,just average.

charcters :8
I felt the charcters were developed pretty well ,so i will end it here since i cant go into them much without spoiling the plot.

enjoyment :7
I found it enjoyable at some points , but was bored at some points ..(probably because of the pathetically slow intial pacing of the first 10 episodes or so)

overall :
7 +1=8/10 (+1 for the god like trap)
I dont know why this is rated so high on MAL ,I felt it was just an average anime which tactfully baits people by using interesting theories but well in the end its worth a watch i guess. .
As i said before , the ending was an typical "asspull" and i felt betrayed since it denied reality a bit. Overall i guess it can be watched depending on your interests and "to know more about the theories of time".So i will conclude this part of the review by saying its not a "must watch" category but a likable series which can be suggested to friends .
