I will admit, this show is definitely not for everyone. But, if you're obsessed with romance, destiny, true love, etc... You will love this show.

This is one of my first times watching a meka anime. I judged a book by its cover and thought I wouldn't enjoy it. Thought it was all fan service, boring characters etc.. Boy was I wrong.

It takes a bit to get into, the first 12 episodes focus on character development and action (and some fanservice), but the last 12 episodes put all the pieces together and the plot turns out fantastic and you find yourself loving (or hating) the characters ... more and more. You really feel like you can connect with this show.

Something I'd like to point out is the art. Specifically, the aesthetic. It's really fantastic. I haven't watched tons and tons of anime, but I know my way around. And I've never seen something like this. It's almost poetic, this show. The way they open certain episodes or close them. You become overrun with emotions by just how beautiful, sad, and romantic this show can be.

Lots of people like to hate on this show because it seems cliche and overhyped/popular, but if you really pay attention and just enjoy the show for what it is, you'll find yourself loving every episode. Though, again, this show isn't for everyone like I said above.

Keep an open mind and I guarantee you will enjoy this masterpiece.
