Usually, I never bother reviewing my readings unless it struck me with a strong impression or feelings and this story really is one of them.
If you are looking for a story where hot steamy scenes are the main topic, keep walking, but if you’re up for some heavy realistic feeling development where they don’t really fall into each other’s arms then to earn the other heart's, stop your little walk and try this one.
At first you might think it goes quick, since main duo, bottom (Namwoo) and top (Si-eon) come together quickly (without really be a couple, believe me), but Si-eon isn’t the over-confident male
...
we often see in others’ webtoons, his past made him become who he is, and that forced him to keep his emotions and feelings in him, and it’s where the bottom, Namwoo have a lot of work to do to earn him.
There is 2 seasons with a total of 86 chapters + Side stories
Season 1: 45 Chapters
Season 2: 41 Chapters
Side stories : ongoing (13 chapters on Apr 2023)
So you're tagging for some diggin to get over Si-eon's barriers and protections, and that’s why that story stuck really strongly with me.
It’s real, and I’m pretty sure most of us can relate to this scenario.

Visual Prison is my most awaited seasonal title of Fall 2021. It’s all about musical Visual Kei bands battles with ikemens vampires (Visual Kei is a muscial rock-punk-gothic genre really easy to the eyes). Not gonna lie to you, there is a lot of fanservice, but I really was over-enjoying over this Visually and Soundly great title, and here let me explain why :
• Story : 7/10 •
We mainly follow the debuts of « OZ » bands, where our main character, Ange cross path with other Vkei groups Lost Eden and Eclipse during one of their shows in Harajuku. He will then stumble across his favorite singer,
...
Guiltia, here and so began the debuts of Ange’s wonderful voice which will be able to gather talents around him.
The main goal of these bands are to win the favor of the Scarlet moon and participating in the Visual Prison’s event to gather scarlet tears. If you reunite at least 10 tears, you will be able to make a miracle.
Dramas event happening, OZ’s band sure need these tears for them.
• Art : 9/10 •
Ikumi Katagiri takes charge of the original character designs, and even if you’re not enjoying the story, you can at least see how beautiful the fashion and characters are.
There is unfortunately some CGI used during performance and battles, but aside Visual Prison is visually pleasing.
• Characters : 8/10 •
The character development is in the center of the story, we get to see the main band but also other bands backstories, and why they’re all fighting for these scarlet tears.
Their relationships and interaction are also evolving through episodes.
• Sound : 10/10 •
As a Visual kei listener, I really loved all the band’s songs, Elements Garden composed the music for this anime and with a really good Voice Actors selection, we can fully enjoy the music and voices through the opening, stage performance, practices and ending.
• Enjoyment : 9/10 •
I was waiting for Friday to come quite excitedly, I was thrown back in my old teenage day, fangirling on Vkei bands and looks.
This series is not a BL, there is no explicit gay interactions, but ambiguous and bromance vibe was part of the charm and enjoyment of the series in my side.
• In brief : 9/10 •
Overall, I know the score will most likely never be high, the male fanservices moment might frighten most of you (if you’re not a fujoshi, that’s it) but at least you can give a try to this visually and soundly pleasing title.
The story with the Scarlet Moon doesn’t make a lot of sense, but if you enjoy Visual Kei songs and beautiful characters, it’s not gonna be that bad.

It’s been years Battery was released, and its now probably forgotten by most of you, but I feel the need to write a counter-attack review since it was really harshly bashed.
I had struggled in the beginning to enjoy it, and I had to pick up the show and give it another chance, and here I am today writing what I hope can convince you to give a try to this refreshing baseball anime.
____________________________
• Story : 8/10 •
I started this series expecting another basic sporty anime, involving intensity, friendship, rivalry, energy, passionate youngster being too exited, and easy-going interactions.
Well, you can cross the last 3 terms.
...
And that’s exactly why I enjoyed this series.
Most of the time we don’t see other side view of a team, it’s most of the time centered around how good and friendly the pitcher-catcher battery and their relationship with teammates are.
Actually for once, we see the battery really struggling to understand each other’s feelings, we see how powerless the coach is when it comes to be confronted with a cocky boy.
It was realistic, and not that idealistic vibe we get with most of the genre.
If for most of the watchers it was the worst baseball anime, I just feel like it give a new vibe, it feels different from the others.
It felt refreshing.
• Characters : 7/10 •
Takumi our main character (MC), is also refreshing, he’s not that overly energetic joyful pitchers we saw like everywhere.
He’s cocky as hell, not submissive, and stand for what he wants and believe. I really liked him when like everyone hated him.
We don’t have a lot of defiant MC like that in that genre.
Gou, our catcher MC, is softer, calmer, and a bit more usual in sports genre. Though I feel like I will beat an anthill saying that, but his feelings for Gou with Shuugo are kind of obvious and deep, I really enjoyed seeing how they Bothe struggled over Takumi.
Shuugo is our rival supporting character, and I would have loved to see more of him.
Some people saw the homosexual vibes of this show, and I can just agree with them. It’s not obvious so no need to be a hater for that, it happens. And if it happens when you’re this young in Japan society, well it’s not easy.
• Art : 9/10 •
The art has this unique feeling vibe, the colors are soft, like watercolor and it contributes to making a deep ambiance to the whole scenario. It doesn’t have the overly clean-modern vibe we saw but not quite the retro vibe either. Really unique.
• Sound : 6/10 •
Music wasn’t something I kept in mind, and I was bothered by it.
Though I HATED pretty much Seiha’s voice, they choose to take a child for him and each time he talked I cringed. The volume of his voice wasn’t the same as other, his pitchy tone overly acting made me frown.
At first I thought all VA’s voices were overly too mature for 12/13-year-old boys, but seeing how the scenario wasn’t childish and kinda mature, I forget about them.
• Enjoyment : 7/10 •
At first I struggled to be engaged in this series, I was really bothered by voices, and it was a bit of a slow-paced beginning.
And then after an angsty scene and I see how Gou felt about Takumi I was stuck and just watched it in one go.
• Overall : 8/10 •
- Refreshing vibes for a baseball anime
- Interesting relationships, friendship or rivalry
- Beautiful scenes
- Slow paced at the beginning
- Open ending

A sketched taifuu, that’s it.
My main feel after watching it ? Incomplete. It’s like seeing a sketch before the final painting.
• Story : 6/10 •
It feels really unfinished, there is really too much big action and issues with not enough content and explanations.
It's like "Hello here's all my ideas, then bye!".
There, an attempt to a beautiful friendship between two boys passionate seeing their first fight.
There, a mysterious (naked) beautiful girl
There, an attempt to big deep world-crushing quest
...
There, an attempt to romance
There 25 min of attempting something worth of 90 min.
Everything feels like it’s been just brushed on the surface, a big sketch.
• Characters 6/10 •
2 childhood friends and a mysterious girl.
That was too quick, but I liked the story between the 2 main childhood friends.
Nonetheless we are able to feel their passion about baseball with a really short flashback and how they care for each other.
The main girl, well … she’s pretty I guess, mysterious and maybe strong but ... she might have said like three sentences in the whole show and just left leaving her name.
• Art : 3/10 •
I feel like this kind of movie have a goal to be contemplative and beautiful to compensate the shortness and the attempts, but… can’t say it was beautiful.
The animation of the typhoon wasn’t spectacular, even the robot thing feel bland.
• Sound : 5/10•
I actually watched this movie because of the female voice actress, Kiyohara Kaya, I love her grave and deep tone, but… you can feel my disappointment when I said the main female character only said like 3 sentences.
The music was nice but not memorable
• Enjoyment : 4/10 •
Not sure if I must feel thankful for it being only 25 min of my time or sad of a great potential wasted.
• Overall : 5/10 •
Well, if you like the staff or studio you can give it a try, since it’s only one episode of your time, but otherwise you should rather prefer watching another episode of your current series.

Tsurune, the sound of trust, friendship, hardship and practice.
Everyone once waver, struggle, fear when they are passionate about something, it’s about to learn how to deal together about issues without falling alone.
I really enjoy sports animes genre, when I started Tsurune back when it was released I put it aside due to the slow-paced episodes and not-so-many actions, but here I am, years later, after retrying it and giving you my first review ever on this show.
A bit late, but I still hope to convince you to give Tsurune a try when your mood is up to a realistic, peaceful and heartwarming series.
• Story
...
: 8/10 •
The story is centered on the relationship development between the kyudo club’s members.
As you may know, it’s known that to practice archery you need to be in harmony with yourself. And since they are practicing as a team, they also need to be in harmony between each other.
The story shows you how they deal with their own issues, developing trust, friendship to find back their own harmony.
• Art : 7/10 •
Artistically speaking Tsurune can be considered as Bland, the animation isn't spectacular, but we don't need anything out-of-the-box for this kind of mood.
We can feel the intensity during matches, but outside them it’s rather simple without any out-of-frame main character, and that's why this feels more real.
• Characters : 7/10
They are common boys and girls with more or less talent, all struggling with things.
As said above in the art section, you don’t need to have pink, blue or green hairs to be interesting. I really liked this point. Their personalities are really different and we really don't need more.
Although the backstories of most of the main characters were missing.
We saw a bit of Minato’s and Masaki’s but not enough to really feel that dramatic vibe suggested.
This was the main disappointment point for me.
But I really like how they grow and progress themselves together, learning to know and trust each other.
They all struggle, teenagers, even adults, with some personal issues but seeing their relationship evolving was soothing.
Also, just a personal point but the BL vibes are real in this show. Really bromance worthy.
• Sound : 6/10
The sound wasn’t really present during episodes.
When the scene is really important the music add intensity to the moment and it’s enjoyable.
For this wholesome show, having a calm and peaceful opening/ending, background music is quite fitting.
• Enjoyment : 9/10
All thanks to my fujoshi side, I really enjoyed seeing this show.
I wanted to see how the relationships will evolve, how they will all deal with their issues. I still understand why firstly I wasn’t able to keep coming back each week for more, with this slow-paced episode without big cliffhangers, but when you put yourself in the right mood and watch them in one (or two) go, it’s just going smoothly.
• In Brief : 8/10
Overall it’s a good show where the club’s members learn to deal with their struggles together, learning to trust each other to find the right harmony in themselves and in their team.
