Parasyte is one of my favorite anime of all time, the way it portrays the character development of Shinichi by forcing him to literally share his body with another entity is amazing. Personally loosing a hand or an arm is a great fear of mine, it would change so many things about the way that I live my life. Most importantly at least for a while after that life changing event I would feel robbed of one of the most important things in my life. Agency. Shinichi's journey throughout the show has always resonated with me, however while Parasyte attempts to show us what it would be like to coexist with a completely alien entity, Midori no Hibi attempts to show us something entirely different, what if your hand was a waifu? Enough said.

Bokura no

It's a daunting task to recommend something to someone first by comparing it to Eva, and I could distill both of their plots into about five words each and then tell you they were very similar shows, and based on that argument you may be inclined to agree with me. However that is not my goal, I do not believe they are the same show. I think they tread some of the same ground in very different ways, whether that be approach, aesthetic, or subject matter. It may just be my lack of experience with the mecha genre that makes me say this, but Evangelion is the only show that I could think of that would serve as a decent comparison. It also helps that it is one of the most popular anime of all time, and my goal with a recommendation is always to link a very popular property to an unpopular one. With that being said, give Bokura no a try, but please for my sake don't expect it to be the same as Eva.

Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu

Re zero is one of the few isekai that deals with themes resembling anything darker than the sun. Personally the isekai genre is a constant honeypot trap in my watching experience, I frequently watch them regardless of how sure I am that they are going to blow massive chunks. I do so because of how much I believe in the genre, I have this belief because of shows like Now and Then here and There (Ima, Soko ni Iru Boku). I'd warn you that it deals with some things that are beyond the scope of what re zero is willing to present to you, however if you are a fan of isekai and you want to see the genre pushed to its margins, give Now and Then Here and There a try.

I think that redline is probably one of the single most exhilarating experiences that you can have watching anime, the anime has a stunning amount of energy that is replicated in few other titles. For me one of those titles that manages to give me a similar sense of energy and creativity is dead leaves. So if you are looking for a bombastic experience with a digestible runtime, checkout dead leaves.

There are a lot of things that you hear over and over as an anime fan, one of those is the constant clamoring for romance shows that don't exclusively take place inside the walls of a highschool. Wotakoi is often heralded as one of those down to earth romance shows that does a halfway decent job of presenting a real mature relationship. However if that is what you are looking for, I wouldn't have pointed you toward wotakoi, I would have instead said that you should watch Planetes. You may be thinking that these two shows look quite different, and I would have to concede that you are right, but I'm not offering you a 100% garuntee that if you liked wotakoi you will like Planetes, I am simply saying that I think some of you might. If you are looking for a down to earth romance, (pun intended) then you might just love Planetes, however it is not a happy go luicky slice of life. It is also a drama with stakes frequently bordering on harrowing while just as often exceeding that threshold all bundled with an enjoyable dose of scifi. If that sounds up your alley I implore you, give it a shot.

Insecure school boys do weird shit and end up in a loop of progressively more weird shit because an equally insecure and weird girl saw them do it. Both stories are bangers imo. Also both very popular so this might be redundant, but the similarities are too uncanny for me not to point out.
