7Seeds is okay.
The thing about 7seeds that really isn't that well for a starting season is probably the fact that there was a lot of weird pacing and too much characters to really care about, aside from our horrible princess-dynamic Shoujo protagonist who has a thing for praise or "Daijobu?" all of the other side-characters were alright to really say the least.
For instance, there was a character's dad who treat another character badly, so like the revenge-that-hardly-makes-any-sense syndrome that just follows with this anime, the character takes it out on the daughter of the dad.
Not to mention the fact that there is such a
...
power dynamic and little sense of unity which in a survival situation yes there would be division, but 7seeds makes it so your most hated character suddenly works with someone that 5 seconds ago, they absolutely hated.
There isn't really a whole lot of positives for this anime really to say the least. I've heard that the manga was really good and I'm not sure how they could fit hundreds of chapters into a 2-seasons long show, each season being 12 episodes but hey, thanks Netflix's algorithm for picking up this adaptation but yet drop the first half of Hunter X Hunter and OHSHC which are actual good anime.

[Spoiler Warning]
The thing that divides Devilman: Crybaby from other anime is the fact that it touches on the brutalities of war and no matter what side you're on, war is going to be negative.
I've seen animanga that have touched this subject in the past like Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood's civil war, but this anime seems to no matter where I am I can safely say that I will at least think about it.
Devilman on the surface (Manga, not the 1970s and 1980s adaptations) seems like a religion manga riddled with drugs, pointless gore, and sex but this anime portrays a lot more than it seems
...
on the surface. The manga written by Go Nagai was made in retaliation to the brutal Vietnam War in the 1960s.
The point of Devilman and Devilman: Crybaby is how things could shift and take a disaster for the worse just as life was seemingly peaceful in the beginning.
We enter the anime with our main character Akira Fudo who reunites with his old friend Ryo Asuka who has uncovered something rich in his time during South America. It's devils essentially is what he finds out.
The plot develops as Akira combines himself with Amon, who is one of the strongest Devils. Akira ends up defining himself as a Devilman, a human heart inside of a Devil's body.
Now, when Akira turns into a Devilman the other people around him begin turning into Devils as Ryo documents the incident, there is more that thickens with this.
Devils in the writing are essentially revealed to be humanity, Go Nagai portrays that our own people are Devils, which is in turn talking about during war, entire militaries and countries are stereotyped to be all negative people when in reality there are people who are in the bodies of destroyers, soldiers, but have a kind heart and because of that they change and get scarred when there is death.
When there is death in a war and when a comrade can't do anything to stop it, it does far worse than just the death itself. The anime goes to show that when people die it isn't the people who witnessed it who get scarred. Families get torn apart and it becomes hard to divide good and evil.
Devilman: Crybaby is able to portray this by after the death of an important character Akira witnesses it and has to go tell the news to the character's family. Not only was the character a close friend of Akira but Akira bearing the pain of seeing the death.
Akira represents using his power to attempt and reconstruct the world and make people join in unity thus causing people to put their weapons down and hug Akira for him trying to unify humanity and end the war.
Tensions only rise, people who are doing nothing get killed for trying to deliver peace and it causes a spike of rage in both Akira and anyone on Akira's side.
I see a side that isn't talked about in a positive spotlight which is the rappers that Miki and Akira became close with, the rappers are showing the civilian aspect, their thoughts, what they like and don't like. I get why a lot of people say that the rapping point isn't supposed to be written in but it shows foreshadowing.
Overall, what happens in Devilman Crybaby is something that people should see for themselves. I love it and personally I think it's over-hated when in reality its an older anime that needs just a little bit of context for some of the writing in it. It can be annoying for a first-time watcher but I don't mind it as much.

Mid at best.
Hanoka is an incredibly funny anime to describe. It was originally an anime released in T.V. Shorts that was animated roughly in flash. I remember hearing about this anime from a video by Akidearest where she was talking about the "Worst Animated Anime."
Hilariously enough, the anime wasn't that bad as I thought, I got some enjoyment out of it since I'm an English Teacher at heart, I don't care about an anime for the art I care about the writing; the writing in Hanoka didn't make sense, there wasn't a build-up it just kinda threw you in there.
I didn't attempt to piece
...
this painful show together but from what I can understand or even remember (I watched this anime from an all-nighter on a Chromebook instead of my actual PC and it felt like a fever dream) Hanoka was an unnamed soldier, a cyber-soldier in a war that later met her only real love Yuuri during the war.
They go through this entire war against this alien race where the "Queen" of this race has died, there was some weird message about peace, a character dies and it kinda ends abruptly, I guess I'll have to watch the recap next.

Nope, Nope, Nope.
Seriously, what is this? I was looking for maybe a funny side-story for Eva and at first it seemed like a nice slice-of-life side story Do you want to see an unfunny scat joke be put on the first episode? Do you want to see animation quality so bad Berserk 2016 looks like a 10/10? Look no further than this, I haven't watched the first episode fully and the humor was just completely stupid and out-of-pocket If there was a 0 option I'd give it one for how horrible this is
I wish this was never made, from what I've heard from other reviews
...
and even the reviews say its complete garbage and all it is is a distaste to those who ACTUALLY LIKED EVANGELION

Punpun is an amazing manga but please go in on this note:
Punpun gave me emotional dread for a couple of days and made me hit a low, if you are at a sensitive point in your life currently please do anything else that isn't reading this manga.
If you're like me and love dark stories however you are in for a ride of some of the best writing I've seen in a piece of literature. I loved the themes and the execution of the manga and thus I gave it a 10/10, Punpun is fantastic and taught me a lot.
With that being said, I've seen the
...
warnings and went "It can't be that bad right?" then BOOM.
10/10, you're in for a wild one.

One Punch Man is a classic.
The main reason why I say this is the fact that I think OPM holds itself up in a way where it shouldn't be taken too seriously, this is an anime based off the web-comic created by ONE who did Mob Psycho 100. The anime is basically this ball of making fun of shonen tropes and just overall being ridiculous, and yes, this season probably covers most, if not, every shonen trope you can think of and makes fun of it.
The anime tells its story in a way that isn't "Haha, sad backstory go brr" it uses trope-like elements and
...
just creates a good story, One Punch Man isn't deep, its just a silly story of a guy who is way too powerful.
Story:
Alright, we have the story of a man named Saitama. a character who saves a kid from this crab-person and decides that he is going to be a hero, sounds tropey enough but here's the catch. Saitama becomes too powerful and doesn't have enjoyment since he kills everything in one punch.
Art:
The art isn't the best from design, Saitama isn't drawn straight and looks rather silly at times but he does have an art change to where he looks a lot more better, its like a Dragon Ball character in a sense which is exactly what the series sort-of makes fun of on the first episodes. The other characters like Genos, Tatsumaki, and Bang are drawn pretty well. Do not get me started on the animation, good god, its so good.
Sound:
The sound effects in this anime are amazing, I loved hearing the music and just the thought that was put into this anime, experience it for yourself, its really nice.
Character:
I can't name a character I don't like, Saitama is literally a spirit animal, Genos is a ridiculous yet loveable cyborg, Tatsumaki is just an angry tornado woman, I could continue on about the characters honestly.
Other Notes:
I had a lot of enjoyment with this anime, it's pretty nice and I would give it a 10 but it's not my favorite of all time, its just a nice anime to watch when you're sick of shonen tropes and just want something that isn't completely serious but follows kind-of a shonen formula
Enjoyment: 9/10
Overall: 9/10

The Promised Neverland: The Hard Truth About The World. (Spoilers Ahead)
The Promised Neverland was an anime that I had recommended to me by a couple of friends from school, I knew the premise and thought it was going to be nothing more than an anime trying to be edgy with the whole "Demon World" aspect, boy, I WAS WRONG.
The whole thought that I had from when I first saw the first episode I actually wasn't alone, I was in a Hulu Party with a couple of friends of mine, of course, we cracked jokes
...
about the series, like when you watch really bad horror movies and its suddenly a comedy, though I watched this series and finished it alone, just me, myself, and some of the great writing I have seen before in other books and anime, the story works like this.
Story: 2 characters are a part of an orphanage, Emma, and Norman, the orphanage says goodbye to Conny as she gets taken to a truck to meet her "New Family" onto which Emma and Norman see that they are being used as a farm and also that Conny got killed, they notice the boundary lines is a wall and well, they get to planning.
I don't mean to get through an analysis on the story but I will analyze the character, Emma, Ray, and Norman, oh and spoiler warning if the title wasn't clear enough
Emma: Emma when she was first-shown seemed like a mom to the rest of the protagonists, she fought and she fought well, while she wasn't the smartest out of Ray and Norman, she still could be on-par with their level on many occasions, throughout the series, she is seen to act out in favor for the rest of the orphanage, after she came to terms with the fact that she was on a farm, and wasn't an orphan, she is shown to be hidden as well, not with her emotions (she is horrible at hiding them) but hidden in the sense of she always thought things through and did high-risk-high-reward stuff for the rest of the orphans.
Norman: Easily one of my favorite characters out of this anime, Norman is a quiet yet thoughtful person, a lot like Emma, he likes to care for others and speaks on his own behalf, he stands for himself and doesn't put up a front exactly about anything, he likes to show himself. Even through the hallucinations that Ray and Emma when they are crossing the wall.
Ray: One of the best written characters, Ray is the son of Isabella, he has amazing memory and is the smartest out of the characters, while he does show his front as a "Hired Mercenary" for Isabella, he actually cares about the people closest around him and wants to get out, while he does put up a front he always pulls some of the crazy stunts (Before the orphanage caught fire, Ray almost killed himself in the fire for the rest of the orphanage, though he gets saved by Emma, later on, they decide on a new plan)
My final thoughts: If Cloverworks didn't butcher the 2nd Season, I might've watched it, S1 was really promising and I'm looking forward to reading everything in the manga, who knows, I might watch S2 and that horrible adaptation. I just hope that Cloverworks can redo this series like BONES did with Fullmetal Alchemist, and I hope that a remake doesn't turn out like Berserk 2016/2017/
My Final Score: 9/10

Anohana, an anime that I will forever love, an anime that I could recommend to people who are grieving, and to people who want an anime that just makes you feel so sad, yet happy. I just got done crying so I might as well review this masterpiece.
Anohana is a story about a group of friends, they were all childhood friends who formed a group called the "Super Peace Busters" of course, they were little kids at the time. Without spoiling too much of it, one of the main characters named Menma has died.
There is so much to unpack in this review its hard too,
...
you have to watch it for yourself, its not detail heavy its just sad.

Chopperman revolves around Tony-Tony Chopper, this time he is a Medical Teacher by the name of "Chopperman" he fights like one of those superhero comics except he uses his Devil-Fruit Ability, its a very nice short read and according to MAL there are 25 chapters yet I could only find Chapter 0 and 1 translated, it comes from a magazine.
There are a couple of characters, Usopp's Pirate Crew from East Blue, and Coby from East Blue (Before the Time-Skip)
it was a small story that I sort-of enjoyed, its a lighter story made for a younger audience but I enjoyed reading some of it, I was
...
curious to see what the side stories for One Piece were all about

Minor Spoilers Ahead
What an amazing series, no seriously, this anime was nothing but peak, I loved the anticipation, it was all amazing, and I couldn't find a character I hated (Besides Near but we all kinda hate Near so I mean, it's obvious)
Story Plot: Enter Light Yagami, a normal High School Honors Student who is the son of a detective, he looks out his window one class and finds a notebook fell from the sky, curious, he decides to go check it out and it's a notebook called the "Death Note" where it can kill anyone anywhere and all you need is a name and
...
a face, Light eventually meets Ryuk and starts killing criminals who have their identity's revealed to the public, Light gets the nickname of Kira, and he wants to be the god of the new world. I know some Anime and Manga that have plots that hit hard as this, but this is amazing.
Art: The art was okay, the colors were a little bright and there was some 3D CGI for some scenes, which is something I could understand since there is so much details, I would rather see a darker environment to match the tone of the series but overall, outstanding
Sound: This kinda speaks for itself, the sound in this anime is amazing, I loved each individual sounds as OSTs, and voices (I watched in the English Dub)
Characters: I don't remember a character I didn't like, Ryuk was charming, I loved how Light was written, L was an amazing antagonist, Misa-Misa was a kinda dumb character, and Near is Near.
Enjoyment: The Rest of the Review Speaks for itself
Overall: 10/10; This is probably one of the best Anime I've seen, it doesn't take the #1 Spot (I have watched other anime that I haven't documented on MAL yet) but overall, REALLY good Anime for both Veterans, and Newer Watchers.
