Highschool of The Dead aka H.O.T.D. was pretty epic. I started watching it thinking, "zombies + ecchi, lets see how this turns out." I ended up finishing all of the episodes in one day. I couldn't stop watching.

I gave the story an 8. It was a well executed storyline, with developments and some surprises along the way.The only thing that somewhat annoyed me was the fanservice. The boobs were craziiy oversized and boingy, and the panty shots were endless. I gave the art a 9. All of the characters were drawn quite well, and that includes the zombies. There was a hell of ... a lot of blood and gore, so if you have a weak stomach this anime is not for you. To go along with the blood and gore was the amazing sound. I gave the sound a 10. The voice acting was great and fit the characters perfectly. The sound effects and zombie moans were the best. The characters were an 8. There was some stereotyping, but I liked the way that the characters developed and matured as time went on. They faced moral dilemas, as well as some very personal situations.

Despite all of this, I enjoyed this anime 100%. I gave it a 10/10, because I have to say it was truly addicting. Overall H.O.T.D. was a 10. If you like blood and gore and ecchi I recommend you go and watch it right now.

I read it because i was bored and looking for a good read, but his manga had me hooked from the first chapter. I don't usually read shoujo manga's with serious themes, but this one was an exception. It had just enough humor, but some parts were so sad they almost made me cry. It wasn't a typical cheesy shoujo manga, which was quite refreshing, and it had a unique story line. I gave this manga an overall score of 10. The story was interesting and emotional; it felt realistic. The art was great and I'm a fan of this mangaka. The characters were believable; ... they expressed different emotions throughout the story. I also liked that the heroine didn't annoy me with her airheadedness and crying, but actually had some depth to her. Overall, this was an outstanding manga that I think most people would enjoy.

This manga is good for people who like a mix of shounen and shoujo manga, and maybe a little supernatural.The story is good(8)... but in ways might be a little bit cheesy... the art is really really good(10)...the characters are awesome(9) and the girl isn't a huge crybaby like the ones in most shoujos(which i tend to hate)... overall i give this manga a 9... its a good read and the art and story are pretty cool...
