I will set you my rules on ranking my lists.
I am basing my ranking on 5 categories:

Plot: Anything the story contains to make itself robust, full and interesting. I am looking for a story with no holes and with unexpected plot-twists.

Music: This contains the soundtrack, the sound effects and the OP-ED. Most emphasis is given obviously to the soundtrack and the sound effects.

Art: Art contains the world, how the director envisioned it, how well it was drawn as well as the animation department. Its a vast category that includes use of CGI, quality of panels, backrounds, faces etc.

Characters: Character Development and Character realism. I am striving for characters that have meaning on their lives, characters that are not focused on one aspect , but have depth. A fictional character shall be real enough to have its motives and hopes be believable.

Personal Enjoyment: Those rankings at their core are personal, so how much I liked something doesn't always agree with my artistic opinion on the media.

Finally, what does every score mean to me?
10: Masterpiece / Perfect
9: Outstanding / Almost Perfect
8: Amazing
7: Very good / Great
6: Above average
5: Average
4: Below Average
3: Terrible
1-2: No Effort
