Well this is a pretty funny anime, not gonna lie. The plot is interesting. It stands out in the sea of isekai anime released this year.
It is a cheap comedy that really made laugh out loud a couple of times in the first 3 episodes (which is pretty rare. even from comedy anime series). The characters are heavily deep anime tropes, not even trying to hide it. The art is... well... interesting. The 2D animation is OK, I guess. Lots of shortcuts and minimalistic action scenes. But the most important thing was: the 3D animation. Jesus Christ, Lord and Saviour, it was bad. It was
...
sooooooo bad, so incredibly bad. The monster in the first episode was so bad, I could not stop laughing every time it was on screen. The 3D animation was so bad I could almost forgive it, since it was so unapologetically bad.
Overall, up until now, it is a decent anime, worth watching if you're bored and if you don't tend to take these kind of series too seriously.
Turn your brain off and laugh a bit at this series

What a disappointment this was... All I can think about is how much the concept and the art went to waste...
When it started, the anime looked very nice: colourful, vibrant, lots of attention to detail and the characters seemed interesting. Emphasis on 'seemed'. As it progressed, my excitement diminished drastically. The action/fights were subpar, the pacing did not make sense, the power structure had no consistency throughout the anime and the whole thing felt very rushed. The narrative was all over the place. Too many places, timelines and characters for only 12 episodes. As for the ending... it was very predictable and sort of made
...
me facepalm, but whatever...
This anime could've had soooooo much potential. But it got ruined by a lot of elements. You know you messed up when you make me (who is a very very patient and tolerant anime watcher) scream at my screen things like: 'why are you not moving for god's sake??? and none of this makes any sense!'
The only saving grace would be the art, which was beautiful, but the downside is that the animation did not keep up with it.
The only way to watch this an enjoy is to be heavily medicated with some sativa or acid.
Note: 5 is the lowest rating I would give an anime. This one gets a 6 and that's generous

Hmmmmmm this is an interesting case. I love 7 deadly sins. Stuck with the series even through the bad animation. I'd say it is one of my favourite series. Hell, even went as Meliodas to the London Comicon this year.
This series is weird to me. On one hand I'm happy to to see more 7ds, but then I absolutely hate the animation style. this 3D CGI style is my ultimate pet peeve. I can tolerate it when it used strategically and rarely in an anime (like animating armies or very intense/hard elements to do in 2D). I will say, I somewhat got used to
...
it within the first half of the episode, but I still have mixed feelings.
The characters were were a highlight. Tristan, as the MC, for example, is a very balanced character. Somewhat op, but also struggling with mastering his power, which makes complete sense in the narrative. Now, the antagonist does not make sense almost at all. Without spoiling anything, even with explanation within the episode, it still doesn't give the villain a solid motive and does not explain a lot of things on the enemy's side.
I will watch the whole thing, but I have my reservations. I did not give up on the series when the manga had better animations than the anime on the Meliodas vs Escanor fight, but this series is testing my limits. And I was genuinely excited for a sequel after the last movie...
Anyway, watch this part on your own time and only if you love the series. Otherwise, I guarantee you will hate it

I was surprised to see that this anime has such a low score.
I will start with the positives: I really love the art style and the animation. Amazing work by the studio. The story is decent and relatively well told. The characters are pretty interesting, although I will say that some of the secondary protagonists are better written than the MC. The music is also a standout for me. It gave me naruto vibes, some shamisen scores made me think of mashiro no oto, sothe music is very japanese traditional, and I personally like that.
Now for the negatives: it feels shallow sometimes, a little
...
too generic, which is not necessarily a bad thing, but I can see why some people might not like it. I stand by my general opinion that an anime doesn't have to reinvent the wheel when it comes to its genre. It just has to be well made, and up until now I think it gets the job done. The villain is the one that feels most generic of all and tbf, I saw the plot twist reveal from miles away. I am expecting more backstory in the future however.
A side note I wanted to make is that they straight up ripped the design of 2 characters in this show: one protagonist and one pretty unremarkable side character. The design for Sakuya looks very much like Xiao from Genshin Impact and the design for the criminal killed by Sakuya when he refused to join the group in the first episode (forgot his name, too lazy to look it up) looks waaaaay too much like Luchist from Shaman King. And I have a feeling other characters in the show look a lot like characters from other anime I'm not familiar with.
But overall, this anime is pretty good, especially as a week by week watch. I would recommend, since it's an easy watch and a decent anime overall

To be completely fair, by ecchi/harem standards, this is a well written show, unlike the rest of the genre. I started watching it with pretty low expectations. After reading the plot, I thought this was going to be that type of show where the MC is busy with the girls for the whole anime, so the storyline is grossly neglected. This anime is exactly the opposite. No description would fit this better than "Come for the boobs, stay for the story"
Story: 9
The highlight of this anime is definitely the narrative. As I said, instead of the usual ecchi priority list of boobs first, story later
...
(or never), Shuumatsu no Harem has a very strong central plotline, focused on the MC genuinely trying to solve the mystery of the MK virus and the disappearance of his love interest.
Art: 8
The animation is solid. Of course, since it doesn't have any ambitious action scenes requiring lots of work in the animation department, it was kind of expected to have good quality overall. Even though the story is set somewhere in a near dystopian future, not a lot of futuristic designs are explored. But I have to say, the character design is done smartly, so that the viewer would easily remember the important characters and tell them apart from the rest, since so many characters (especially supporting) are introduced all throughout the series.
Sound: 7
The music was nothing special. It fit the theme and it did what it was supposed to do: make me skip 1:30 min at the beggining.
Characters: 8
A lot of focus is on the characters. They are explored pretty well in 11 episodes and it is clear that even the characters who weren't really explored here have a backstory and a reason for their actions. The foreshadowing is done pretty well, making you question each character's true intentions and purpose. When it comes to the erotic part, obviously both the male and female characters fit in a strict anime trope (which I do not particularly mind, but it is not a plus either): the cool, low-key misogynistic playboy, the nerdy bullied boy turned pervy sex lord, the pure MC who is not interested in other women but his crush (hear that Peter Grill?), the tsundere girl who starts warming up to the MC, the secretly-evil cute airheard, the busty sadistic bisexual MILF, the cute jealous E-girl with an inferiority complex, and so on. And of course, boobs and nudity everywhere, because at the end of the day, it's still supposed to be an ecchi series.
Enjoyment: 8
As a non-straight man, I can say that this anime was pretty enjoyable. The mystery plot keeps a certain group of people hooked, and the anime titties keep the other kind of viewers entertained.
Overall: 8
A solid series. I do not understand why it has such a low score. Compared to a lot of the 2022 spring series, it's actually enjoyable. Good story, nice character development, decent animation.
Go give it a try!

This is honestly one of my all time favourite series. When I finished watching the first season, I had that 'I really wanted this to be longer' feelings (the announcement for the second season came much later). This anime just has a special place in my heart. Why do I love it so much? I have no idea and it doesn't really matter.
Story: 9
The story of this particular season is not something special, however it does have huge stakes for the characters involved, more precisely for Tamakoma2. Even though the whole season is just Rank battles, the narrative is great, with twists and turns, outsmarting
...
the opponent's strategies and with good cliffhangers at the end of each episode.
Art: 10
The animation is really good. It has improved greatly since the initial season and to be fair, it really enhances the fights and the action scenes. I don't think I have noticed any scenes where they cut corners in the animations, nor did I see any pesky CGI, which in some cases can be a huge eyesore. The designs of the characters, weapons and settings are a signature for this show and I really like when an anime has its own 'trademark' look.
Sound: 10
At this point, hearing the main theme just gets me super excited and tells me that I should expect to see some sick action. When a show manages get the theme song in the viewer's head, then it means they did a good job composing the music. The beginning and the end themes are good and sit well with the anime's vibe.
Characters: 10
The cream of this season was the character focus. I was glad to see much more character development for Hyuse, and I have a feeling we haven't seen all of it, which makes me excited for the future. Amatori-chan was also explored further, and I feel like this season really managed to establish her as the actual irreplaceable and OP squad member that she was meant to be. We also got to have a better look at some of the other squads, which were important for the plot in the past, but didn't get to have more spotlight. And, of course, I will always enjoy seeing Kuga on screen. He is hand down my favourite character in the entire series and one of my top 10 in anime in general. It seems I have a soft spot for short, goofy characters with messy hair. I wonder why:)
Enjoyment: 10
This season was extremely enjoyable, proving that you don't need a 'save the human race' plot device to make an exceptional action anime. I also have to mention the fact that it is surprisingly enjoyable considering it's basically the link between 2 important arcs, and that it might be overlooked later, when seasons 4, 5, 6 etc (I hope) appear.
Overall: 10
As I said, this is one of my favourite anime series of all time and this 3rd reason does not disappoint. I do think it should be on every anime lover's watchlist because it is just extremely well made, with highs and lows, episodes with big emotional impact, episodes with lighthearted humour, and very well choreographed fights and animation to sustain that.
Go watch Wold Trigger:)

I do not understand why this anime gets so much hate. People decided to hate it since the trailer dropped and then review bomb the series before it even took off.
Story: 7
The story is not original, but that does not take from the enjoyment. A lot of people keep comparing it to Mirai Nikki, which is understandable, but doing a battle royal anime is not a crime. An anime series does not have to reinvent the wheel to be enjoyable.
Art: 8
The art is pretty good. The CGI is not overused and the CGI arrows that they use are quite beautiful. I am usually extremely critical
...
of CGI in anime because it can really ruin the animation, but in this series it is used tastefully and purposefully. There were only a few moments where they used CGI to cut some corners, but I will overlook that.
Sound: 8
The sound effects are good. They really augment the action and make it more impactful. The opening and ending are ok. I will not add them to my Spotify playlist, but they are good.
Character: 8
Here is where it gets interesting. I will agree with the majority on this and say that the MC is pretty unbearable. I wouldn't say poorly written. A lot of the times he is extremely indecisive to the point where I want to scream 'Oh come on, just do it!!!' at my screen. I am hoping for a better development towards the end (I have not read the manga so I don't know if that will happen). HOWEVER, what the MC lacks, the other characters have plenty of. The other characters are so well written that I can forgive the MC. They have strong backstories and the show didn't waste too much time explaining them, so you can really understand each character's motivation and purpose.
Enjoyment: 7
It started off strong, then the excitement kind of dwindled, but then it picked up again. To be fair, this is the kind of anime where everything will probably make sense towards the end. It is enjoyable, especially if you don't start the series wanting to hate it.
Overall: 8
I would have normally given it a 7, but I will leave my score as 8 because this anime's score does not reflect its actual quality. Too many people left spite ratings on episode 1 just because it's not as good as Death Note and Mirai Nikki, which really isn't fair or realistic.

As a background: the original shaman king was a huge part of my childhood, even before I was aware of anime. I used to watch it in primary school with my classmates. I re watched it a few months before the 2021 version aired so I think I can make a fair comparison. I will not give any spoilers in this review.
I actually like this version a lot. It has a faster pacing, but in a good way. It has a more modern, fresh shonen vibe to it. The characters also have stronger personalities and their reasons to fight are highlighted more than in the
...
original.
So the story up until now was within the expectations. I look forward to see how they will adapt some arcs later in the story. Fingers crossed
The art is very good. It kept the important aspects of the old shaman king, while giving it a contemporary and fresh vibe. The animation is very good, however I can still spot some scenes where the animators were a bit lazy. That said, it doesn't ruin the mood though.
The sound is ok. I am not a huge fan of the anime themes (with some exceptions like Mirai nikki, golden wind and bleach), but the opening song is pretty nice
The characters are a forte. They were done very well in this version. Their reasons and backstories seem more clear and they have more potential for development, if you look past the superficial tsundere personality of half of the characters (which I think it's a nice touch)
I genuinely enjoy this show and I always look forward to the next episode. The fights are well done, and usually there's at least one per episode.

It's not that bad honestly. It doesn't reinvent the concept of fantasy anime, but that's not a bad thing. People have to understand that being cliche or generic isn't a bad thing.
It is a decent anime, with a generic story of "I get powers all of a sudden now I fight evil", with pretty good animation and pretty solid CGI (I generally don't like the overuse of CGI, but here it is done pretty well, like I didn't mind it). The soundtrack is interesting, especially the drum sounds in the episodes, the characters are pretty mediocre, that is true: they have weirdly a good development
...
for the secondary characters, meaning that each episode we explore one of the 7 Knights students, however the MC does not have any background up until now. It doesn't really help that he is voiced by Izuku's VA because it kinda gives the MC that helpless wimp aura.
Edit: now that the MC's backstory has been revealed, I can give a final opinion: the MC's backstory had potential, but I feel like it was not developed properly
I quite enjoyed the series, and that was probably because I didn't have high expectations
