This anime is definitely a highly rated anime for me.
Story/Plot [9/10]:
It's plot will always leave you with questions, and not the same questions every single time either. Suspense would be the word to sum Another up. I would have rated it 10/10, but there were parts in which I wish they would have elaborated some more, or left some parts out. However, that did not hinder the suspense of the story and the twists in it.
Art [8/10]:
The art, I would have to say, lacked a little. However, it captured the aspect of horror feeling by using minimal details on the characters and a few
...
background scenes (i.e. the eyes). What pulled it off was when it got to the parts when action happens, don't want to spoil anything to the viewers.
Sound [8/10]:
I did enjoy the OP, however, there were few moments in which I felt like it lacked the whole "horror soundtrack." It could have developed that some more, but it was still used in parts. However, the voice acting and how it portrayed through was outstanding. The soundtrack did not hinder the actors/actresses voices, which is a huge plus.
Character [10/10]:
I would have rated this 9/10, however, I only blamed it one character that I disliked. But I can't just way the rating based on that one character, so that's why it ended up as a 10/10. Each character, no matter if background or main, really struck me. Even a one minute character that is shown seemed already developed. That both background and main characters blend in to make one whole scenery. Sometimes-- well, almost all the time, the background characters are just a blur and sometimes quite literally (reminds of Love Stage background characters).
Overall [9/10]:
I have to say that I'm quite pleased with Another. Its amazing plot and characters will be always one of my favorites. There were a few parts, again, that could have improved, but flaws makes things unique and this is one of them.
Who would/wouldn't I recommend this to?:
I would recommend this to those who likes suspense and thriller, as well as mystery that you have to solve along with the characters. But, I wouldn't recommend it to those who don't have the patience for the plot of progress in a slow manner.

I normally try to keep my reviews formal, but what the heck! GYABO! This anime is just too good to try and be formal with. I mean seriously, just the enjoyment itself is really quite thrilling. But, before I get to the good stuff I'll start to with the weak parts of the anime so I could end with a good note.
I gotta say, the only thing that I didn't like about the anime are the characters. I would say that this anime did a much better job at portraying that genre of "slice of life" better than a lot of the anime I've

seen (I've seen a lot, but I haven't reviewed all, yet). But, sometimes it gets carried away. I mean I get that it's anime, but I would have want it to be a little bit more settled, especially when it came down to the part where Nodame high kicks Chiaki. PRICELESS! But she didn't need that big jump because to be honest I jump high, but you gotta be a wickedly high jumper to do that. Though, this DOES NOT affect my thoughts on Nodame, or any of the other characters! Seriously, this anime is just so good!
Now as for the awesomeness of this anime, I can't even begin to tell you how great this anime is. But, here are just a few things I really enjoyed about it. First of all, like I said, the genre part of "slice of life" was on the spot. You can feel like it might just happen to anyone, except the part if you're going be like Chiaki... Also Nodame-chan's POV is very mysterious and can be fun to play along because it feels like she's just like any hormonal girl who's in a one-sided love.
Over all a solid 9, still looking for that 10...

If you love mysteries, I would definitely recommend this to all. Though, it maybe hard to understand at some points in the chapters, it is well written and thought through. From all the novel books I've read, this is in fact one of the closest you will get to get the feeling as if you're reading a novel book, except with pictures.
There are only two downside that I could come up with this manga. One, it is not complete. Though I prefer completed manga, I will wait for this. Two, characters, such as Elizabeth, can be really obnoxious and irritating, but that's what makes

the story a manga.
Overall, a rating of 9/10. I would make it into a 10 but, since it's still on-going I will wait for it to finish. Once done, I will see if I change my mind.
