You see, when it comes to "zombie-survival" genre, most of the TV shows, movies, video games, etc. fail to capture the feeling that makes you wonder "what the hell would really happen to me if I actually were stuck in a zombie outbreak?" Works of this genre, can have intriguing or thrilling content that pulls you into them. But there are very few ones that manage to dive into the psychological affects of a zombie outbreak. Frankly, I believe it is one of the best works that executed the plot of post-trauma so well. Probably, if this was a live action movie or video game
...
instead, it definitely wouldn't be able to transmit that "dreadful" feeling blended with cute moe girl faces. This is pretty much what School-Live! (Gakkougurashi!) is about. It seems like a very innocent anime from outside (and for the first 20 minutes of the first episode), but I guarantee that it's something WAY ABOVE your expectations. I don't want to spoil anything further and ruin the magic for you. See it yourself.

Bakemonogatari is the anime equivelant of a "situational story". Instead of riduculous amount of actions and incidents, the story follows a tranquil plotline. Althought it can be called boring and monotonous, the anime is quite unique and outstanding compared to many other series. The first time I saw Monogatari, I thought to myself that it was just a typical ecchi harem anime that is exaggeratedly overrated. However, how Monogatari looks like from the outside is far different than how it truly is inside. This show can sometimes be very cute and fun, even might feature some very good frames of dark humor. But sometimes, it
...
can also be painfully disturbing, gruesome and depressive. Each character in the show seems like ordinary and plain people at first look, on the stark contrast, as you dig deeper into their minds, you will encounter heartbroken and ill-fated souls drowning in despair, wishing for the impossible. The art designs and visuals of the anime, on the other hand, is god tier. You can pause the screen at any time and still catch an incredibly beautiful frame (especially if its the toothbrush scene). Anyways, lets dive into the story.
Story:
Bakemonogatari, in order to put it in the most simple way, is about a high schooler with vampiric powers named Koyomi Araragi, encountering several girls that are being tormented by supernatural spirits referred as "oddities" and his endeavor to save them (or help them save themselves). Well, it might have sounded like a shallow plot. But it's clearly not a poorly-written one. The "main theme" of this show is "escapism". If you observe carefully you will notice every female protagonists' attempt to escape the reality and wishing for something unattainable. This factor alone can also be regarded as something unique thought. This season is seperated to five different parts/arcs each featuring another girl under the spotlight. Due to this, its kind of like a slice of life. Each arc is inert yet sometimes fluent, but also well-written and perfectly executed. The emotions, reactions and actions all work coherently. Unfortunately, having the whole story centered around a group of girls and their similar "oddity" problems is a little repetitive but its still worth watching.
Art:
The artwork in Bakemonogatari is undeniably above the standards. I'm not talking about the character designs. I'm talking about the backgrounds. You see, almost every background of every frame in Bakemonogatari is an architectural masterpiece. The way how perspective of each building and structure is dynamic and simple but sophisticated visuals are jaw-dropping. Also the fact how Bakemonogatari was actually adapted from a light novel instead of a manga is even more interesting. Imagine not having a single picture of how the background looks like and creating a visual piece of art from literally nothing. Fascinating.
Cast:
As I mentioned in the beginning, every character featured in Monogatari are quirky on their own. Behind their cute-looking faces, lies a disasterous feeling of regret, love and even hatred. Our main protagonist Koyomi Araragi is an exception, thought. We don't really get to see a lot about Araragi's inner thoughts but we still get to know him as we do for the female protagonists. Koyomi Araragi, is a carefree high schooler who would even will to risk his own life if it's for others' happiness. He is also a funny guy who sometimes pulls up goofy jokes. Senjyogahara Hitagi, the secondary protagonist, is a typical example of a yandere character (a character who is violently obsessed with their crush/lover). Yet Hitagi is still a kind hearted person. She has severe problems about her past. Anyway let's not spoil the entire cast for you. That's all to say

"The battlefields are for those who are willing to sacrifice their lives for greater good, not for whores" -Abraham Lincoln (possibly)
Words can't describe how mad I'm right now. I just finished watching Akame ga Kill and as I expected, my disappointment for the finale (no, not just the finale but the whole anime) is immeasurable. I don't know where to start to explain why it sucked. The stupidity of each character's mindset? Wasting each one's potential by killing them with a foolish death? Nonsense of the entire story? Well, let's just go one by one.
Story:
Hoo boy, I'm about to destroy this anime's whole carrier
...
right now. Akame ga Kill is simply a story about the boy named Tatsumi, who travels to Capital with his friends to save their village from paying the heavy taxes. But they seperate ways while traveling and Tatsumi travels to Capital alone by himself. As you can see, there is even a massive nonsense in the very beginning of the story. I mean, who the hell would want to seperate ways with their companions in a dangerous anime with man-eating monsters, is this f*ckin' resident evil game or somethin?? Anyways, after a series of events Tatsumi finds out that his companions were brutally tortured and left to die by some royal family. And so Tatsumi decides to join Night Raid a notorious group of assasins in order to make Capital a better place for everyone. Actually, I was very intrigued after watching the 1st episode and was hopeful for the rest of the anime. And the fact Akame ga Kill was a quite popular anime carried my hopes even higher. I was like " I bet this anime will turn out to be a pretty awesome one". Aaaaaaaand nope. On stark contrast , Akame ga Kill ended up as one of the animes I hate the most. Althought, the beginning of the story was impressive it eventually got worse and worse. As new characters start to appear the more they decrease the quality of the series, and as the story continues and we learn more about the world of AgK, the more we learn it sucks very much.
Cast:
Yep, one of the things the story got was almost every character dies in it. I'm not very upset about this fact but the way how useless and wastefully each character dies reaaaaaaaaaallly pissed me off. %90 of the dead characters died in most horrible ways. Which is we never really got them shine enough. Another bad thing about the characters is how each one is so poorly written. Most of them are very stupid and ignorant, they fail to solve their major problems and make them even more complex and nonsense. For example, the relationship of Akame and Kurome. Why don't they just come to an agreement instead of stupidly fighting each other. And what the f*ck is wrong with Kurome? Can't she realize how much Akame cared and protected her and still loves her. I mean, Akame was probably to nicest and closest person to Kurome and yet she still wants to kill her (just for fanservice). Another dysfunctional character is Seryu. In my opinion, Seryu was actually the character with the most potential. If I was the one who wrote the manga & anime, I would have made her the most controversial character. But the creator just simply wasted her by making her some stupid psycho who simps for justice. If Seryu was more sane despite of killing most of our favorite characters and was more innocent looking everyone would be discussing that she did nothing wrong or the opposite, which would create an incredible controversy. Esdeath is a bloodthirsty b*tch who can't use her brain. Tatsumi is a very plain character as a mc. Wave can't do a sh*t and is useless.
Animation:
Nah, there actually ain't anything to talk about the animation. It was average for an anime studio to make.

Majo (also known as Witch) is a delightful masterpiece. I found about it for the first time when I heard Tatsuki Fujimoto was inspired from it while making the Chainsaw Man. So I was like "oh, so if fujimoto was affected by this then it sure has to be an interesting manga" and started it. Before I started reading the manga I had a little research on it if there is anything I gotta know about it. Unfortunately, Majo was a very little known manga so I barely could find any reviews or comments about it. One of the few things I learnt was it's
...
length being something around 7 chapters and when I heard about it I was instantly disappointed. Because many of the short manga series that I previously read were very lame no matter how much they had potential. But I still didn't care and read it anyways. The outcome was unexpectedly awesome. I was in love with this manga. Everything was great about it.First of all, Majo is an anthology series each story centered around witches and witchcraft. Althought there is a huge amount of dialogues in each chapter the stories are very unique and immersive. The monster and spirit designs were grotesque and absurd which was incredible. I gotta say the whole manga in overall gave me huge vibes of Neil Gaiman's stories. There is just so much mystery, thriller, horror but also an odd feeling of joy and happiness. Also the creature designs were pretty similar to some beasts from his Sandman and Graveyard Book stories. Since Majo has multiple stories, I will only talk about my favorite out of all stories. The first 2 chapters are about a girl who had learnt witchcraft and travels to a distant city (which is actually Istanbul located in Turkey) and her fight against a witch there. And since it takes place in Turkey I thought we might have a lot of contents about Turk mythology. Well, we got a history lesson about Constantine instead. This story had huge symbolisms to Christianity and Judaism. Many background and creature designs were unusual and quite fascinating. It surely impressed me and I loved it. The other stories are also pretty special on their own but I believe the finest story out all of them was this first one. Anyway I won't just tell the rest of the manga. Go read it yourselves. It's definitely worth your time.

My Broken Mariko was quite a weird experience for me. It's one of the few manga works I've ever seen which is about suicide and tragedy (there is also goodnight punpun which was even more subversive). Well, I think it's a pretty strange choice of story yet it was fine. It's not a greatly written or a pathetic manga but right in the middle. If you are highly sensitive for tragic stories you might not want to see this one. When I saw the first page of the manga, I saw a warning about that the manga is a traumatic one and has heavy contents
...
of suicide. I was expecting there might have been a big change on my mindset once I read it, but nothing really changed. Althought it was about suicide and stuff there were still many comic-like contents ( jokes and cartoonish drawings). What I was expecting on the other hand was something very serious and heavy. It was still quite an impressive way to tell and write a story. I don't think you might lose anything if you decide to read it. But it's not a must read at all.

I have talked enough of popular manga series. Now its time check out the hidden gems. This manga here you guys, is a must-read. I can't believe that I'm saying this right now since I disliked this manga, like for its first 20 pages. Its shorter than any other manga and easy to read. There aren't any certain subject or plot that story is focusing on. So let's get into it rightly. Palepoli is a spontaneously-created masterpiece. Soon after i finished reading the manga, I learnt that the mangaka (writer of the manga), never had any idea on how to create a manga, so he
...
just did a random 4-paneled comedy anthology story. As I said before, there aren't any specific plot that is focused on Palepoli. But usually, each story in each page is heavily symbolized with dark themes and figures such as; death and suffering. But it's definitely not a horror manga. There are fun in each story. As for the quality of humor in Palepoli, I would say its quite impressive and outstanding among the other comedy manga. The big amount of the story is made of dark humor but its still worth reading. The quality of the stories aren't that impressive but there were many details and references to pop culture (such as the story that contained Vincent Vega and Jules Winnfield from Pulp Fiction) got my attention. But there aren't many elements in the story that you should take serious. Since it's a comedy manga, what matters is not the story but humor. Since there were many stories that were drawn in the manga, I couldn't manage to keep all of them in my mind. The last and (probably the longest) story was something that might not get out of my mind so easily thought.( I won't spoil the chapter completely don't worry) In last chapter, we see a woman being in the dilemma of choosing to be with which of her boyfriends and she decides to choose by testing who is better at s*x. Yeah, this might sound like a very harsh story for the manga, but trust me this isn't a manga that you may throw away for only having a inconvenient content. Once you start reading this manga, alongside with jokes you enjoy, you will also realize the symbols and huge meanings that has been implied on many of the stories. Now, for the artwork... I would say it was quite marvelous. In many of the panels, mangaka proved that he can perfectly draw both realistic and cartoon characters in a murderous harmony. The artwork is great compared to many other artists. So thats how is Palepoli. And I highly recommend it.

DO NOT READ THIS MANGA!!!
I can't believe I'm telling you this since Prison School was one of my favorite manga series, and it was definitely the most hilarious manga I ever read. The quality of humor in Prison School is certainly outstanding compared to any other comedy manga. I can clearly remember cracking from laughing so hard each chapter, yet DON'T READ IT! The main reason is ending sucks. And it really sucks. I won't be telling you if its a good ending or bad ending, but I'm insisting on for you to give up on this manga. Once you get in the story
...
of Prison School, you'll be amazed by its humor and stupid story. And it will give you the impression of a high quality manga. Well for the first arc of the manga I may say its sure a great manga. Funny characters, funny story, hilarious moments... But then the story gets prolonged for nothing and becomes full of pure nonsense. Then there is the ending, o that ending... I don't want you readers to be under the impression of a good story, because once you read that terrible ending, you will eventually realize that devastating flop of quality in Prison School. Now let's explain each elements of the story one by one.
Story:
A bunch of guys, getting in a high school where everyone else are all girls. Once they are excited for this situation, they decide peeping on girls' bathroom. And as you may think, they get caught. So as their punishment, (which is the most stupid and vital part of the story) they get in jail for a few weeks and will spend each day and night there, in prison. Yeah, it definitely has a dumb plot, but its called "Prison School, what else were you thinking? So anyway, in the stark contrast of the dumb story, Prison School was quite a great manga in the very beginning, REALLY. If you are looking for a manga that you wanna get into which makes you laugh a lot, this is the best choice for you. But as I said for many times before, the duality doesn't last that long. Once the first arc is over, we start a brand new one with high expectations.Wondering what the author has for the audience this time. Bet it's even a better story than before, right? WRONG! What awaited for us in the next arc was full mediocre. We get a few new characters, which were pretty bad. And this time we have another overlasting rivalry between the cast. So yeah that's how it is in general.
Art:
The artwork is highly sophisticated, and it was one of the few elements of the manga that drove me to keep reading it. If it had very cheap drawings, I would have probably gave up on finishing it way earlier. The drawings of this manga are pretty detailed and sometimes quite emotional. What I meant by emotional is that, the artist manages to catch the exact expressions of the figures for many times. Which makes the characters more realistic and kinda natural.
Cast:
The cast also sucks after some point. Kiyoshi is quite ordinary for a protagonist (but on the other hand, its not usual for such school manga series to have fascinating protagonists) I believe the character that made me laugh the most was the principal. Every school needs a principal exactly like him. I also liked Meiko a lot, also she was one of the main reasons for deciding to read the manga. I believe she is pretty charming unlike her dominant personality. I love women with dominant sides (im not some masochist or anything but) Yeah i really liked her and would be great to have a gf like her. I also liked B*tch-chan and Hana. The rest of the cast is pretty useless and unimportant. Especially Andre. If you were to remove Andre from the manga, I bet the quality of manga would have gotten even better. He is useless and annoying.
The ending(dont worry this is also a spoiler-free part):
The reason why I'm insisting on you to not read the Prison School is (as I said before) its ending. I won't tell what exactly happens in it , but once you complete reading the story, you will regret reading this great manga which turned itnto a dump. Your expectations will be smashed and won't forgive yourself for reading it.

WARNING! SPOILERS!
"What is right... what is wrong... you can't easily tell the difference. That's why you must keep thinking, whether what you are doing is right or not. That act itself, alone, can be called right."
When I heard that there will be a sequel to Tokyo Ghoul I was pretty excited thought I didn't really want a sequel, since I was okay with the finale. But what I got in Tokyo Ghoul:re was something that I never expected. With the beginning of Tokyo Ghoul:re, the story was driven to a point which audience wasn't ever expecting. We all thought Kaneki was brutally murdered (and
...
yeah it didnt made sense at all when he came back to life) but he actually turned out to be now working as a ghoul investigator in CCG, lost his memories and CCG is hiding his true identity from him, unless he might cause huge trouble. HE EVEN HAD HIS OWN SQUAD??!! Yeah, now he is also the mentor of the ghoul investigator squad called Quinx, and its full of BRRROKE teenagers. We have Urie, the super edgy maniac only thinking about promotion. Saiko, the low budget e-girl but she's a cutie. Mutsuki,aah... she starts as a innocent girl, but ends up as a fake ass kaneki. And Shirazu, only pure boi after Kaneki (now called Sasaki). Yeah, we had a quite fun start. A brand new cast and many new villains. Oh boy, I hope Haise gets his memories back and turn back to Kaneki ... Well, nope not a good thing may happen from that. But everything turns into a massacre when Kaneki turns back and Shirazu dies, later on a lotta fights and confrontions blah, blah Dragon Arc and the Final Arc were trash... Tokyo Ghoul:re is ruined in the end.
Story:
I was sooooo excited since the beginning of each chapter, wondering if this sequel will be worthy. The first few arcs were great. New squad, problematic newbie investigators also dumb villains. It might be a squad full of problem children but Quinx was a real good thing. Its much better than Anteiku cast in the first part, they are more relevant and symphatic. The time they spend with Sasaki and their meetings... It was very good. Then important operations and BOOOM! Shirazu dies. It broke me but im totally fine with his death since it wasnt a stupid death. And Kaneki comes back, goes mad, kills Arima (not actually but yea), then the useless arcs start. I personally believe the story was extremely prolonged for nothing. Ishida probably write the Dragon Arc so he could make an excuse to revive Kaneki again. Which is, he chose the worst excuse by turning him into a gigantic cock & ball dragon. The whole Dragon Arc was suprisingly optimistic despite the brutal damage dragon causes. I mean, like all of the CCG and GOAT organization gathered forces and thats a pretty big thing since like the entire Tokyo Ghoul was made for ghouls vs. ccg. I barely remember what exactly happened in the final arc. And reviving Rize and making her fight as the final boss was a very rushed idea. You can easily realize that how small her role was thought she came back to life. I believe she only talked a few words yet she was the vital element of the Tokyo Ghoul. The whole story happened thanks to her and she was the least relevant character in :re. The final chapter was kinda satisfying. It really didn't have any cons. We got to know how everyone ended up except a few people but yeah it was fine. But the rest of the manga at some point is worthless. Not the first arcs with quinx, once the thing with goat organization began I was bored of reading this manga I used to be in love with. It's ruined.
Title:
Yeah I actually wanted to talk about this in story part. But I noticed in the chapter called "Title" where we see Kaneki transforming into Dragon and covering the whole Tokyo and violating everywhere, he became the "title". He became the ghoul who is devouring the Tokyo. The Tokyo Ghoul. So, I believe this idea was always in Ishida's head since the very beginning, and its getting me real mad since Dragon Arc was in my opinion the worst arc in the story. I can't believe Ishida wrote this holy grail manga just to bring up this trash arc. I didn't even notice that manga took place in Tokyo.
Art:
Near the last arcs of :re, we realize that Ishida's artwork has once again leveled up. This time fans were quite unhappy with the new art style. But I always love Ishida's style. Every cover of Tokyo Ghoul:re volumes were incredibly beautiful and needed attention. The artwork inside the manga, otherwise can sometimes be quite different from the covers. But anyway I don't believe Ishida ever dropped quality on artwork of tokyo ghoul. In :re, he reached another level and became even better. I'm very happy for him.
Plot twists:
We now know that One Eyed King is originally a title that is inherited from one to another. I was already aware that Arima might be the king, but it was eventually confirmed in :re it was true. I really hate Arima, being secretly associated and admired by Aogiri and also working for CCG. And Furuta/Souta turning out to be the main antagonist was a great idea. I really liked him as a villain and never expected him to show up. He had great potential, yet he was underrated af. I can't believe him being so underrated yet antagonist. How could the fanbase be so ignorant?
Cast:
I really loved the cast and characters' development. Such as Urie was a jackass, but once Shirazu dies he finally becomes a better person, more caring and compassionate. Mutsuki was innocent girl yet she was devastated once Haise is gone, and now its Kaneki. So she turns into "female badass kaneki" . For Kaneki, I really liked his new persona Haise. He is completely different from initial Kaneki. He is more like a leader and confident. Once he gets back his memories, and gone mad, the story of :re finally began. I don't know if making him go berserk was a fine idea but we were all waiting for that moment. Once his fight with arima ended Kaneki becomes calm and we really get him back that moment. I really hate Arima and his relationship with Kaneki. He said to Kaneki that he can kill him in just 2 seconds, yet he commit suicide. It was very hard to see Arima, a very stonehearthed character having something for a ghoul. Also we got our best boi back, Amon Kotaro, yet he is irrelevant af. Damn Ishida, why dont you evaluate this god tier character? We also got homeboy Takizawa back. But now he is a psycho ghoul. His appearence somehow reminded me of jeff the killer but whatever. After a lot of damage he causes, he finally turns into an ally. Yeah, that side of Takizama, he was a f*cking maniac, I really hate him in :re, even thought he turned into an ally. I was almost forgetting Shirazu and Saiko. They are both one of the best characters in :re. I felt real bad for Shirazu when he died, all reason he fought for was so he could cure his sister (which eventually happened) . And Furuta, he is probably one of the best villains I've ever seen. He is a greatly written character, yet so underrated. His lunatic side is both funny and scary.
Eto Yoshimura (wtf is the deal with her)
Eto is my least favorite character in Tokyo Ghoul, but unfortunately she is a fan-favorite character. But anyway, I hate him so much. She tortures people, she is sadistic and even made his father an experiment for ghoul transplantations. But anyway, in the final arc we finally got to see her after a while, yet we couldn't understand what exactly happened to her. Was she dead or idk brainwashed? Probably she survived thought she was absent in very final chapter. Also I don't think Ishida would have a reason to kill her off.

WARNING! SPOILERS!
"The bird fights its way out of the egg. The egg is the world. Who would be born must first destroy a world"
This was my favorite line in the whole story of Tokyo Ghoul. It perfectly fit the overall plot and storyline. Tokyo Ghoul is a very meaningful manga for me. Not just only because it was the first manga I ever read, but also its one of the few manga series that contain symbolism and unusual details. If you read carefully, you may notice that almost every character being related to a number, which corresponds their tarot card. But I will talk
...
about this later. Tokyo Ghoul is definitely a great series. We all have seen protagonist fighting against the monsters, but what if we had a protagonist who actually was a monster, and fighting against the other monsters and the ones who try to hunt him? I'd say Tokyo Ghoul is the perfect manga for a "protagonist vs. the world" story. "The bird fights its way out of the egg. The egg is the world. Who would be born must first destroy a world". This quote is the main ideology of Tokyo Ghoul. The main character of tragedy, Ken Kaneki falling into a world of monsters and finding himself struggling from the cruel incident that happened to him and fighting against other monsters and the ones who try to hunt him. Now I will be mentioning each element of Tokyo Ghoul one by one.
Story:
The story is great. Kaneki trying to fit in the new world he discovered of ghouls, but this isn't only a story about him. There are also other ghouls who are being terrorized by other ghouls and ghoul investigators. The ones (ghouls) who seem as hunters are actually prey from their own point of view. Some of them (ghouls) try to live a peaceful live, some of them try to violate the wards and some of them spend their lives hiding and running away from ghoul investigators. They seem like a superior race or something like that but they are actually slightly different than normal people. The story of Kaneki gets pretty complicated in time. He turns into a ghoul, associates and works in a cafe owned by ghouls and tries to understand the world of ghouls', fights against the ghoul investigators, runs away from other ghouls that want to eat him, risks his life so that he could save someone from ghouls' hands, gets captured and tortured by other ghouls and turns into a badass. As you may also see, once Kaneki got the organ surgery and turned into a ghoul, not only himself had a "metamorphosis", but his entire life became abnormal and tempestuous and had a metamorphosis. The story in overall is very great. By having his protagonist through many changes, both physical and mental, Ishida proves that he is an impressive manga writer.
Lore & Worldbuilding:
A very little can be noticed in the world of ghouls. Their cultures or past are rarely referred during the story. We only know that there are many organizations of ghouls and many of them have different goals. There can even be conflicts between the ghouls since many of them hunt in a certain ward or area. Which can cause great terror for innocent people and others. For CCG (Counter Comission of Ghouls) it's known that they are a pretty archaic company that exterminates ghouls and preserve peace. We also have the organization called V, which a little is known about them and seem to be targeting ghouls thought they don't look like humans either.
Philosophy & Symbols:
As I said in the beginning, many symbols can be noticed in this manga, if you read carefully. Especially, almost every character is related to a tarot card. Which actually isn't a big deal but we can say that each character's tarot card is his or her "theme". But what I really want to talk about is the identity of the "One-Eyed King", his origins and his symbol. We get to know who really is in :re, but not in this part of Tokyo Ghoul. I personally believed that the king definitely carries an important meaning (idk, maybe some symbol or a reference to a historic figure) but in ghouls' world king is likely seen as a myth and legend, a mysterious figure. Suprisingly, he wasn't referenced to any certain tarot card unlike other characters. Which might mean, in my opinion, that he carries even a greater meaning. The thing I wanted to talk about most was, Kaneki's flashback. While being tortured by Jason, Kaneki has a dream of watching a theatre play with Rize, which he also was in as the play's main role. And if you look carefully you may notice that in the back of the costume Kaneki wears, there is a pattern that seems to be a leaf or something similar. Now the thing is this pattern is actually the same with the symbol that Aogiri has. When I noticed this I had felt chills down to my spine, and wondered that possibly Kaneki was already a target of Aogiri or had a bigger part of something else. This wasn't ever mentioned at any part of the story. If you also remember the panel where Rize asks Kaneki about this school play, "were you the protagonist?" and Kaneki replies "I was forced to it". This dialogue actually summarizes the plot of Tokyo Ghoul perfectly. But with this said, it really makes me wonder if Aogiri was already aware of Kaneki's existence since his childhood, but why an organization of violent ghouls would be interested in an ordinary kid? I really don't know. Maybe I'm exaggerating.
Cast:
The characters cast is incredible, yet many of the characters are underrated and irrelevant. But except those, I really like the cast. I love Kaneki. He is a greatly written character and I believe the first type of character on his own kind. His change as a character was a never seen before experience. But instead of his change, I would like to mention his initial personality. At the beginning of Tokyo Ghoul story, Kaneki wasn't a protagonist that was fun ( and he never was fun lol) and he was kinda boring since the audience wouldnt enjoy cowardly protagonists. But I really had sympathy for Kaneki since I relate myself to him. I was also a pretty lonely child back then and I was a very shy person. I wouldn't like to interact with others a lot. Just like Kaneki. Hey hey, Im not saying that im literally kaneki, its just i have empathy for him. As a heroine, I also liked Touka. She can be mad and edgy but her caring side is also strong. When Kaneki said "I would be sad if you died" to her I believe she pretty much realized how much she is important for Kaneki, leading her to be more kind for Kaneki. For others, such as Anteiku employees and the manager they are pretty charming and good characters, I don't think they had enough screentime though. Every employee of Anteiku except Kaneki, Touka and Nishiki were pretty underrated and lost their roles even without having a proper character arc. Amon Kotaro is my favorite character in the series. His strong sense of justice really got me. And the relationship between him and Kaneki were iconic, even during his last fight with Kaneki, Amon still thought of Kaneki as a friend or a comrade not a ghoul. Amon is a kind of guy I would put as the protagonist if I wrote a manga. I really liked him, yet he wasnt as relevant as Kaneki or Touka.
The Ending and Idea of Creating a Sequel (tokyo ghoul:re)
I personally think ending was very satisfying, althought it left several question marks in the audience (which were soon going to be revealed in the :re). I think if Tokyo Ghoul:re wasn't ever created, the manga would have been better. Its not because that I didn't enjoyed :re (i actually loved it) but leaving kaneki dead and leaving the cast completely corrupted might be dark but a fine idea. The story of Tokyo Ghoul wasn't a happy story after all. It kinda deserved a bad end yet had a sequel. And :re felt very prolonged after a certain point. Near the last pages, where Touka stares at vandalized Anteiku and hopes Kaneki to turn back one day was very emotional. But it would have even more meaning if they didnt had :re

As many of you would think Japan is a perfect country. Well, yes but actually no. So this is actually the main focus of Sanctuary. Revealing the disturbing and unbelievable facts of Japan and trying to change the whole Japan. Two guys who have managed to survive the refugee camp in Cambodia, finally arrives in their homeland Japan, and are terrified with the country's terrible status. One of them tries to change Japan's underworld becoming a yakuza, the other trying to change the politics. It's a very unusual manga since there aren't many which comprise political subjects, you might think that would make the manga

very boring but definetely is not. It's exciting and thrilling, each characters' emotions and feelings are well presented and strong. I have only read a small half of the whole manga but yet I found the story just AMAZING. As expected of Buronson, who also wrote the Hokuto no Ken. You can't just find such a creative and unique story so easy. It's so annoying the fact that no one literally heard about this manga. But now you are here and reading my review which means you are perfect :)
