Dude I haven't even finished this and all I've got to say is just don't watch it.
There are many disappointing things about this show in particular, literally one of the only reasons I even watched it in the first place is because the title sounded sus as hell and curiosity got the better of being I was like how bad could it be???
and Yep it's pretty bad.
Like I personally was disappointed in the fact that an anime with an art style I actually liked was about something so stupid and also kind of gross.

to say about this is that the art style is nice and that the op is somehow a banger, like seriously I was listening to the opening of this and I was like why the hell does this sound so good the anime is terrible.

Honestly loved watching this, personally I usually am a fan of kids animes and whether or not it's a Pokemon ripoff
and I used to watch this one as a child, it was constantly playing at my cousin's house.
and honestly I think it's pretty okay. like the animation is pretty decent there's funny jokes and it mostly you know kids humor.

just tell you they were like two episodes that got me like really bad.
Like early on you get introduced to this cat named jibanyan and he tells you the horrible story about his death and how his owner literally called him a lame cat because he died after getting hit by a truck, and I was like Wow Amy aren't you a bitch. but then oh my goodness they had a whole ass special episode for this bitch where they actually took him back in time to when he was alive in and regular cat and this episode had me in shambles, like no, I was crying so many tears, like when it actually explained what happened since jibanyan had memory loss of what happened, it felt like someone stabbed me in my gut after I watched that. I was like what the hell yo-kai watch?!
even the only episode that got me like that, lecture the hungramps episode isn't that sad I guess because it's like standard for shows like this, but oh my goodness did I Cry

Yet another movie that has some backstory that I cried at. all in all this was pretty good with the animation and the music, really liked the music
and honestly this isn't some sort of uber sad story or anything I just really get teared up at backstories.
Honestly I think it's a very nice wonderfilled film that a lot of people would enjoy, the character designs are cute.
Though I was kind of annoyed that halfway through the movie they literally just started calling him rudge instead of Rudger.
And this is just me being nitpicky because I don't really like it whenever there's like some

sort of imaginary friend sort of deal going on and then they cast Shadows, because literally like in the one scene where they're at the window you can see Rudger literally casting an arm shadow on the window seal, and that just really bugged me for some reason.

Dude I'm not gonna lie to you, if you have watched almost any older horror movie. you will probably be able to spot every single thing coming in this movie. like I'm not even going to lie you don't even have to be really like a horror fanatic, I think, to figure out what exactly is going to happen in most of these scenes.

find things like this scary anymore literally just because whenever the hell I read anything with a psychological tag on it, it's like my brain goes into hyperfocus mode and will scrutinize everything to the last little detail just to make sure that I can predict everything before it gives it to me. so I no longer can have fun watching these kinds of things. but that doesn't mean that you have to feel the same way!
I mean if you avoid literally every single obvious hint it's throwing at you for everything that's going to come then yeah I think you could totally enjoy this movie. but has old horror movies go pretty well animated for the time it was made in, and it definitely has a lot of nice gore, but of course since this does have an R rating and it is old you got to understand you are not going to be seeing censored shit in here. now I know you might be thinking okay yeah I was kind of expecting that cuz it's rated R! duh, but I legit forgot that this was the rated R for a couple of seconds when I was watching it literally just because i started seeing uncensored drawn boobies from dead corpse is being flashed across the screen, and I was like whoa whoa there. and then I remembered oh right this is rated R, silly me should have expected that.
Also in all honesty I was trying to give this movie Lean away in many directions because I kept getting mad at many things and I have to keep reminding myself it's old it's just the way things were back then, like honestly I feel kind of sad that like the purposely drawn ugly dude was the evil stalker guy, I mean sure obviously it's nice to see a villain that isn't traditionally hot for once, but it is still kind of sad to see you like it's the obvious ugly one that's the bad guy. and now I know he's not the main bad guy of the movie but it's also just like you know what that is kind of disappointing is all cuz I was like yeah no that was obvious.
But I do got to hand it to this movie for actually surprising me there for a second nearing the end, cuz I thought something was off about rumi and her constant attempts to get mima back into being a pop Idol, but I actually didn't get that one till it threw it in my face and I was kind of mad, so that's how you know it was a good twist

In all honesty, this show is absolutely disgusting in many aspects. But that's what makes it so great. Like I really should not be recommending this to anybody because wow this was kind of hard to sit through. But anyways if you want a little bit of a rundown of what you'd be getting into if you decided to watch this here ya go:
1. Satou Matsuzaka - this girl is literally the poster child of what a yandere is. And in all honesty she has valid reasons, like having a fucked up childhood where she was raised by a clearly unstable what I can only

assume is a masochist of an aunt, that might I mind you is almost constantly covered in various bandages and lives in a trash covered apartment. Not at all saying that her actions are valid but lowkey i kinda get why shes like this.
2. Shio Kōbe - This poor child has unfortunately been subjected to what i can only describe as trauma that will no doubtedly mess her up for life. she had been under the care of her mentally unstable mother who was tragically graped and forced to marry her assalter who wanted nothing to do with her or their bastard son. therefore after she was unwillingly impregnated by the same man again, resulting in the birth of this poor girl, her mother slowly started losing more of her sanity until she came to the conclusion that she had some sort of dependency on her daughter and wanted to free herself from that by abandoning her in an alley. then on the same day Satou found her and begain to keep her hostage in her apartment. Until the police eventually caught on and she decided to leave but before that could happen shio’s older brother found her, making the MC resort to nothing but jumping off the side of a building while holding her in her arms in an attempt to commit a double suicide but at the last moment she decided not to and just killed herself and made sure the girl was safe. leaving this kid with a lifetime of trauma that they're never going to forget.
3. Asahi Kobe - this guy legit doesn’t have it any better, he already was a bastard grape child which in no way was his fault but on top of that this dude was single-handedly practically keeping his broken ass family together. Also like the first ever hoe that probably said that he they genuinely liked him was freaking killed by the MC, and what's even crazier is that girl was literally her bestie.
4. Satō's aunt - i've already said what I've said about this woman she sucks. I haven't read much of the manga, but oh my God she sucks.
5. Taiyō Mitsuboshi - lowkey kind of felt bad for this dude, i mean being held up in a tiny wardrobe and being constantly graped by your boss is absolutely horrible and probably would shatter anyone. but literally any shred of pity I felt for this man kinda just got eviscerated as soon as he developed an even more disturbing obsession with shio than the main MC. Like bro you being graped isn’t any of a good reason to develop an obsession with a small child.
6. Shōko Hida - Honestly GG’s man like fr Imma put an F on your life, because DAMN you did not deserve to go out that way. I mean getting stabbed to death by your bestie is just cold.
7. Daichi Kitaumekawa - frankly just go kill yourself honestly you don't deserve to be a character. Not only are you married with a child, but you're interested in high school teenage girls and avidly get turned on when they are mean to you. Like get your disgusting horny ass over to a noose thank you.
Now anyways a part of all that, this hands down one of the most disturbing pieces of fiction you will ever Lay Your Eyes Upon and I highly recommend it.
