This anime is a strange one, it is about a guy getting immense power from looking at panties, yet I can confidently say this is the best written anime I have ever watched and the best anime I have ever watched in general, I'm suprised at the score cos an anime of this quality should be in the top 10 best, the story starts of decently at best but episode 4 is when it really kicks off, it is a action packed emotional and unique story, animation is great and fight scenes are near perfectly coreographed and art is really detailed, vo's play there characters
...
really well and this is the best engrish I have seen in any anime, op, Ed and osts are the best I have seen out of any anime, it is extremely enjoyable and overral this anime is a masterpiece, please watch it

Story: decent concept, done absolutely horribly, it started off pretty interesting but literally an episode after I was
Contemplating that maybe people are being way to hard on the series, it drops in quality quite quickly, so many things don't make sense at all in the story and it is filled with time skips and pacing is way too fast, 2/10
Art and animation: not gonna lie, it is absolutely banging, fight scenes are really good, art is really good, 9/10
Sound: sound fits this anime really well and it is extremely well done in general, op and ending are both some of the best I have ever
...
heard 9/10
Characters: probably the worst thing about the show, every character is horrible, kirito is the worst mc I have ever seen in fiction, they try so hard to make him look like a badass but honestly he is just a dickhead, for starters he shows multiple times that he is a simp for asuna, secondly he is a massive asshole (spoiler alert: in episode 2 everybody joins in to defeat a boss, but the person that led the attack dies, kirito was a beta tester so he knew how to beat the boss but he didn't tell the others how to do so, but someone finds out that he is a beta tester and calls him out for not telling the others how to beat the boss and his excuse is "I was the best beta tester everybody else was trash" and he was holding back majorly, if he used more of his power and told people how to defeat the boss then nobody would have died), thirdly he is extremely oblivious, it is like he forgot he is in a life/death situation and he is still playing a game, asuna treats kirito like shit but the pacing was to fast so she barely got character development, the rest of the cast barely make an impact so they aren't worth talking about but most are really bland characters, it is a 1/10 but +1 for having an non stereotypical black guy that is surprisingly a decent character (though not being in the show that much)
Enjoyment: 5/10, I want to say I didn't enjoy the anime, but fight scenes and humour keep me from doing that, but other than those two I hated watching this, so I'm dropping it

Story: 10, the concept isn't really unique but boy, is it executed damn near, if not perfectly, the story doesn't make much sense starting off, but starts to make more sense after a little while, there are lots of twists and turns, dark moments, it will make you cry, laugh, and smile, you will be shocked and distraught, it deals with sensitive topics such as racism and poverty, overall the story had me on my toes the entire time I watched the anime and overall the story is near perfect and probably where this series shines at the most
Animation and art: 7, the art and
...
animation certainly isn't bad, but it is outdated, it may have been a lot better for people who watched it back when it released but I don't find it all that amazing, but overall it is still pretty good
Sound: 8, the first and second openings are awesome, the, 3rd opening is pretty bad though, the endings are pretty good as well, and the ost sets the tone of each scene and suits the anime very well, my only problem is the dub, I rarely ever watch an anime in sub but I had to with this one, the dub was just too bad, but overall the sounds suit the anime very well and are overall great
Characters: 10, I always wondered why lelouch was the #1 rated character on the website, then I watched code geass and I saw what makes him special, he is extremely smart and constantly has to make significant tough decisions and balance out his two lives, he can be bossy and cocky but he has a special someone he fights for, almost all of the side characters are important to the story in someway and characters such as suzaku and euphymia are done perfectly
Enjoyment: 10, I managed to watch 21 episodes in 2 days, no other anime will keep you captivated like this one
Overall: 10, I can confidently say this is a masterpiece and I highly recommend it, if you like fullmetal alchemist, magi and/or eureka seven then you will surely love this one

Magi is an amazing concept, the anime is based on politics and I can't think of many anime that follow a similar concept to magi, but how it was executed? That's a whole other story
Story: 6/10, like I said magi is an amazing and unique concept but unfortunately it turns out to be your run of the mill shounen anime at some points and the story gets quite repetitive, I can't go into detail so I don't spoil it for anyone
Animation: 7/10, fight scenes are really well done and fast paced, the animation is pretty good overall and I love it
Sound: 8/10, I watched it
...
in dub and honestly the dub is surprisingly good, and the openings and endings are some of the best I have ever heard and the ost is real good as well
Characters: 3/10,so here is where it gets bad, alibaba is a trash mc with 2 personalities: a crybaby and a dumbass, aladdin is a decent mc and has a bigger pair than half the characters, judar is probably the worst villain I have ever seen, he is literally evil for the sake of it and I don't think they even mentioned what his motivation to be such a asshole was, morgiana is probably the best character in the whole series, her character development is very good and she isn't a crybaby like half the characters, sinbad is a good character, though I liked young sinbad better, this sinbad is still awesome and as badass as young sinbad, jafar is still an amazing character as well, hinahoho Is probably the only likeable one of the 8 generals (only because of sinbad no bouken) and the rest of the characters aren't worth talking about
Anyways that is what I think of magi: labyrinth of magic, I hope kingdom of magic can improve the show immensely cause considering magi sinbad no bouken is the best anime I have ever watched, I know the mangaka can execute the concept amazingly

The team that made baki 2018 really learn from there mistakes from the convicts arc and showed it in this season of baki, the art, animation and sound is 100x better than it was in the first season with no cgi at all and an amazing op, Ed and and ost with even more songs than before, this season was amazing with the amount of improvment from the last season, but let me actually tell you what I think of each arc
Raitai tournament arc: 8.5/10
This arc is easily one of my favourite arcs in all of baki, i won't deny the fact that some of
...
the kaioh's that were hyped up so much and then proceed to get battered was very annoying, the level of detail and animation made me enjoy it a lot more than i did reading the manga, and when there was a good fight, the fight was always top tier, and kaku vs yujiro is easily God tier and a contender for anime fight of the year, the characters if I have to be honest, aren't that good, kaku, jyaku and the guy that fought Oliva in the 2nd round (sorry forgot his name) were probably the most likeable new characters, nobody else was really that likeable, in short this arc has the best action in the whole series yet what was holding it back was some disappointing fights
Muhammad Ali Jr arc: 5/10
In my opinion the arc isn't good, it was a lot more enjoyable than it was in the manga, Muhammad Ali Jr is just a crazy simp and itagaki took the piss considering how his dad is one of the best characters he could have been an even better character but itagaki wasted the opportunity to do so and never used him in the story again, weirdly even though I don't like his character I would have loved for him to come back again as long as he gets a polnareff level character development, the fight scenes are decent and the last one was very disappointing, but what I loved the most was the ending, yujiro finally decides to take baki seriously and both baki and yujiro get ready to battle it out. Overall this arc wasn't good but the anime done it a lot better than the manga which saved me from giving it a lower score
Tokyo revenge episode: 6/10, not much to say about the episode, personally I think it was pretty good special, it isn't the best thing ever but it was good, unfortunately I doubt any of the convicts will come back since the Tokyo revenge arc hasn't came out in the manga or been confirmed to be coming out
Overall it was a good season and I can see the guys who made this animating an anime for koukou tekkenden tough or fist of the North star, the amount of improvement from season 1 to this season is insane and I 100% recommend watching this season, now i am really excited for son of ogre/hanma baki to be animated

Spoiler alert:It really is good don't get me wrong, but what I dont like is the ending, it would have made sense if mc died when he was frowning, sure it isn't a happy ending but it is the most realistic one and only not a happy ending for the mc, he did what he needed to do, he saved his mum, stopped yuuki from getting wrongly imprisoned and saved the the people that were gonna get murdered, what I think the ending should have been is that satoru dies when he drowns in the river and the teacher could either end up getting arrested
...
or he ends up dying in the river with him when he doesn't get out of the car in time

Normally I wouldn't write a review before finishing a series but this series has me so pumped I had to review for the first 3 arcs, this is also my first review so I beg be kind:
Prison arc: 7/10, basically baki goes to prison to whack up Oliva after failing to do so in new grappler baki, there he has the goal of defeating Oliva while being rivaled by his cellmate (if I remember correctly it was his cell mate) Jun guevaru, what I did like about this arc was the return of one of the old characters and how they finally stopped lengthening out
...
the fights with explanations in this one, they still did it in this arc but nowhere near as much as other arcs, what I didn't like was that baki was an outcast in this arc, might as well be named grappler jun guevaru and grappler Oliva tbh, it was a lot more centered around these two and baki was quite irrelevant in this arc until the Jun vs Oliva fight and the ending, and Jun guevaru is a cocky sob
Pickle arc: 10, this isn't just the best baki arc but one of the best arcs in all of manga history of you ask me, basically pickle the 170,000,000 year old dinosaur hunter is found by archaeologist frozen while in a battle with a dinosaur, he gets defrosted and the first thing he does is probably the most funniest and surprising shit I have seen, I will leave you to see it, but anyway all the fighters get rock hard when they hear about pickle and everybody want to challenge him, pickle was an amazing character, at first he was a scary savage beast that didnt sense any emotion, but later he get some seriously good character development, (what I'm about to say may contain spoilers, but there is barely a story in this manga so it doesn't really matter, don't read on if you don't want to get it spoiled for you, you have been warned) first he feels struggle against retsu, his first time ever experiencing struggle, then experiencing pain for the first time ever when against katsumi, later against Jack he feels fear for the first time and finally with baki he feels friendship, pickle truly was an amazing character and feels human by the end of the arc, all the fights were amazing and the jack vs pickle fight easily being the best in the series, I don't know what the mangaka for this series was smoking at the time he thought of baki vs pickle, it would have been a much better fight only if it wasn't lengthened so much, it was so annoying I had to skip half the fight to the end, the fan translation in this arc was also really poor but that is only something to watch out for not criticism cos it isn't an official translation, also the characters feel much more human as well rather than creatures with the only objective of fighting what ever breathes, katsumi and retsu probably got the most development out of all the characters and theres was really good too, sure not as good as pickles but it was damn well good
Retsu boxer arc: 3/10, bad, like really bad, I skipped quite some chapters cos I hated the arc, I was only interested in that awesome fight between baki and chiharu Shiba in this arc but other than that this arc was trash, basically Retsu wants to get back into fighting after what pickle did to him in the last arc so he takes baby steps to his goal and starts with the basics: pro boxing, well those baby steps were more like Sperm steps cos he is so frickin overpowered and 100,000,000x better than all his opponents, what I don't get is that the mangaka (forgot his name) just forgets about all the times he criticised boxing for not being a good fighting style and makes a whole arc praising boxing, well he didn't do boxing any justice cos the boxers were pretty shit compared to retsu, this arc was just the opposite of the Ali Jr arc and the Ali Jr wasn't executed in the right way but this arc was irrelevant and bad and if I have to be honest I don't think it could have been executed any better
Baki vs yujiro: 9/10, easily the most emotional arc in the entire series, had me damn near crying from the emotions yet also had me laughing quite a bit, they really humanised yujiro and baki in this arc and I loved it, you know what I said about the story? I take that back, this story is amazing, in my opinion I don't think this was just about a father vs son match, it was also because yujiro needed someone equal to him to be able to protect the weak (spoiler warning: you have been warned), the weak see him as a god and during the fight many African immigrants flood in to pray to yujiro for protecting them from the strong, yujiro really cares about people but he shows it in a very extreme way, the reason he is so hard on baki is because when his time comes the world will need another person to take the his place, his role is so important so he needs the best to take his place just like how he took yuichiro's place, baki is the only person capable of doing so and at the end yujiro finally realises that the world will be in safe hands when he is gone
