Anime rankings:

10s - A Masterpiece in the highest sense, I do not take this rank lightly or just throw it around. They max all criteria listed above.
9-8s - An amazing show but might be missing a few things. I still count it as leaps and bounds over the general standard of anime and especially 7s. A show in this category may max 3 or more criteria above.
7s - Shows that are still above average but are missing something much greater that would push it to 8 tier or higher.
6s - In the range of being a “just fine” anime, but are usually hit or miss (50/50.) I would say shows like these are the general standard and are “watchable” in most cases, but don’t hold any high hopes for these. They are also controversial picks for me in a way as someone who likes different genres much more may enjoy them.
5s - Bottom bar of average, a bit below of the general standard. These shows might be made for their time, hard to enjoy, or might have an overt use of cliché tropes and other elements. They are missing a lot of core elements like character progression, plot development, etc.
4s and below - Needless to say they are not enjoyable. Shows in this category fail to provide a mandatory entertainment value or have just plain lazy writing. In most cases they might be rushed.

7s and Above: Recommended
6s - 50/50, Viewer discretion and caution advised. Some are better than others.
5s - In most cases don’t watch. 70/30 will be time wasters.
4s and below - Cannot recommend these shows at all. Just stir clear, they are not worth your time.
