Using the word bizarre here to describe the show is quite apt, considering this is far removed from your typical fantasy shounen anime. Phantom Blood and Battle Tendency were adapted faithfully from the source manga, with absolutely no cuts in content. The show had an amazing soundtrack, with the guttural-sounding choruses of Sono Chi no Sadame, and the upbeat funk sound of Bloody Stream. It also gave us one of the best memes made with the outro song Roundabout. In terms of story, Phantom Blood has an okay pace, with it dragging too much in the fight scenes sometimes and rushing during the beginning of ...

OK, when I found this on MAL, i expected this to be a joke, but it turns out it's actually real. Geez, now Onara Gorou is going to haunt me when i'm sleeping because of the ratings i gave it:
story-1
Art-3
Sound-4
Character-1
Enjoyment-10
Overall-3
Even though there is no story and it's just some dude showing off his moves, it's only 25 seconds long and can be a useful addition to decrease your average score. It's still pretty funny tho, and can definitely brighten up your day, albeit by questioning why humanity exists. The main attraction is the 3D model of Onara Gorou, which doesn't look bad, but is still ...

One Punch Man (Anime) add
MINOR SPOILERS AHEAD

The first anime that I ever watched without being spoiled any of the contents, One Punch Man sort of bridges the line between Slice of Life in the early episodes, but later moves more towards bloody action with the other heroes. Saitama as a character isn't actually as boring as I thought he would be. As the description says, he is just a normal guy who trained really hard. The supporting cast is also great, from Genos to Tatsumaki, characters who have a set personality that isn't boring or degrading. Animation is fantastic, courtesy of MadHouse studios, along with a kickass intro and ...

Where do I even begin? Dragon Ball Z honestly got a somewhat decent sequel. As you may have heard, the animation during the first 2 arcs can get pretty piss poor and is the reason why many people were turned off from super. From there, it only does get better. The Universe 6 tournament was a fun but short-lived tournament arc featuring interesting characters, to say the least. The Future Trunks arc was probably the best part about Super, with mystery, and amazing fight scenes. The music is also amazing, such as limit break x survivor. Overall, Dragon Ball Super could have been a lot ...

What else can I say about this movie that hasn't already been said? Animation and soundtrack are fantastic, and the voice actors gave it their all, which are definitely the great aspects of the movie. Story isn't very complex, however, it is Dragon Ball Super, people watch for the action. Regardless, story could have been so much more. However, the movie overall had few memorable moments, and just could have been so much more. The dynamic between Goku and Vegeta is really great, and Frieza himself is definitely no pushover. However, this movie is really only for the people who REALLY like Dragon Ball.

A continuation to the filler-removed Dragon Ball Kai, this makes the same changes that Kai did to the first two arcs, to the Buu Saga. Animation has been improved vastly and also cut down 100 episodes to about 61, so if you are on a tight schedule, this will definitely be a better option to watch. The voice actors are quite good and don't detract from the experience at all. Overall a great adaptation of the Buu Saga. If you were worried about some characters losing their "character", fear not, because Dragon Ball Kai: The Final Chapters does a good job of keeping everyone's ...

In my opinion, Dragon Ball Z was a series that desperately needed a directors cut, due to the large portions in between the main story sections. I feel that Dragon Ball Kai covers everything at a reasonable pace, with the show sometimes feeling like it's rushing along to reach the next main point in the story. However, it does a fantastic job of cutting down the story till the end of the Cell Saga, and is a fantastic alternative to watching the original Dragon Ball Z. The new intro is quite upbeat and energetic, along with much better animation, that serves to make Dragon Ball ...
