This Manga was short and sweet and puts a new spin on the tale of Peter Pan.
The love story itself is very simple and sweet, and reads more like a slice of life with its fluffy atmosphere, and life lessons.
Because one of the main leads is still in the questionable teen years, they keep the kissing and any spice to a minimum, and use the side characters that are of consenting age to give that little bit of oomph.

Who are you and why haven't you watched this show!? Have you been living under a rock for the past five years?
Where do I even begin to review this anime? You've got an adorable cinnamon roll protagonist, interesting and complex villains, and a memorable ensemble cast that will have you pulling your hair out trying to figure out which of these characters is your favorite. It's got an amazing soundtrack that pairs beautifully with the colorful and distinct animation. The story itself is the quintessential underdog story that takes the cliche's of your typical Shonen and amplifies it to the tenth degree. It's ... Apr 16, 2020

This is one of my favorite animes of all time and for good reason.
Kimi ni Todoke and it's second season perfectly capture the sweet and fluffy relationship between the two main leads. While you'll be banging your head against the keyboard and screaming at the screen for them to kiss and hook up the entire way, the slow burn allows you to really soak in and savor the sweet moments. The humor of this anime is also top notch. You'll be crying your eyes one minute, the busting a gut the next. No spoilers, but there's one scene in particular that I watched and ... Apr 16, 2020

The anime captures the melancholy vibe, but every once in awhile brightening it up with some humor. The love story between the lead characters is very underwhelming. Their relationship and backstory is more fleshed out in the manga, so I had the context in which to enjoy the relationship, but for those that haven't read the manga it'll be really difficult to grasp why ... |
