Promised Neverland is a great show for the strategy, and there are plenty of popular show recommendations out there, but a big part of the strategy with Promised Neverland were the stakes and what was on the line. Finding a good show with stakes besides lives on the line(really cliche). Sk8 has plenty of stakes, and a villain that made me visibly uncomfortable(preferred English for this), the stakes aren't lives but still compelling. The friendships in both shows are everything and especially sk8 there is a scene with all the friends and a specific song whenever I hear it makes me want to skateboard even though I have zero balance skills and have amazing friendships like that. I hope this gives a good idea without spoilers!

...then you might like Sasaki to Miyano add

I loved Sk8 for the characters, I typically don't watch slice of life or sports anime, but it is one of my most favorite animes I have seen. The dub for this show was really well done, and Sasaki and Miyano had characters I loved, especially Sasaki. I prefer the dub for Sasaki and Miyano as well, the English voice of Sasaki is goofy and I love it. If you loved either series for the characters I highly recommend both of them.

Spies are prominent in both. Personally I find Loid and the main character of Princess Principal, Ange, compelling in different ways, but no spoilers here. If you want a good spy anime, this is a good short one for you.
