This isn't plagiarism, but to say that Kijuu was only heavily inspired by Titans would be an understatement. Idk, maybe those were generic tropes used in Japan shonen culture but still. World building, existential threat, characters, protagonists, antagonists, vibe, style of combat, animations, events - some of those are 1:1. The difference is AoT lean to mysteries, whereas Kn8 is more action oriented.

Houseki no Kuni
|
The vibe. Mystery. Enemies. Existential threat. Living in limited space. Ignorance. Seeking for solution. Hidden agenda. Similarities in MC's evolution. While both animes are definitely different and hit the heart in other ways I couldn't stop the feeling the general vibe is very, very alike. Even the show names are somewhat similar.
