While Junjou Romantica is a Shounen Ai, and Shounen Maid is not, I still felt some similarity with these 2 series, mainly the characters. Both: -are comedies -has the younger male moving in with the older male -the younger male is an orphan -the younger male has a kind heart, and seems more responsible than the older -the younger male does all the housework: cleaning, cooking, etc. -the older male works from home & has a manager that stresses over deadlines -the younger male often scolds the older male, mainly about not doing their work -the older male isn't on good terms with his parents -the older male is rich Difference: -one is about a romantic relationship between 2 males, and the other is about a familial relationship
