Akuyaku Reijou ni Narimashita is a manga with a surprisingly common premise. It’s part of a counter to the heroine reverse stories of old with the MC being the villainess. The MC usually is a Japanese woman in her 20s with an obsession with the otome game they’re being reincarnated into.
That being said this one stacks up pretty well against the competition. The art is a lot better than the average for this story and so is the writing.

There are multiple important characters of both genders and none of them are too generic. It’s unfortunate that the story wasn’t given more room to ... breathe. With only 7 chapters it had to condense many things. There are only one or two sub arcs between the main events that only last a chapter or so.
While it’s nice to see events not drawn out I could feel how constrained the overarching story and character building was. Especially in the relationship between the MC and the main love interest.

Overall this is a nice one day read with decent art. Although I wish the manga hadn’t gotten canceled so quickly as to give it more room to breathe.

A short romance, mystery, summer, drama thing.
I think it’s trying a bit too hard to make something complex. Trying to do a Your Name type story, but in only 11 chapters.

The characters are bland if serviceable, the designs are kinda cute. The plot is, there. With such a short story there are only a few plot points that can be followed and one real twist that isn't that surprising. The characters aren't different or interesting enough to care.

The base premise of the story is interesting and if given more time it could have developed the story, world, and characters enough to ... make me care. But in the current state it's in, I'm glad it's so short.

What if the dinosaurs still walked among us? As anime girls. But only from the waist up. It’s an interesting gimmick to be sure.

At its core this is a romantic comedy about a female delinquent and a reformed delinquent. So if you like clumsy and cute toughies, you’ll like the main girl. Some of the other girls are nice too. Also the MC actually has a best friend and so does the main girl which is something that can't always be said in this genre, so that's good.

It’s an interesting twist and has some interesting character designs. It doesn’t overstay it's welcome either being ... a modest 27 chapters.

Overall it's a 7/10

Do you like stone-cold women? Like women that are made of literal stone? But with elf ears? Boy, you have specific tastes, but here’s the appetizer! I say appetizer because this is only 12 chapters long. It’s based on a popular web novel so if this appeals to you maybe go check it out.
The manga itself is pretty decent, the art is good, the plot in the short time it has isn’t anything crazy but definitely makes me want to read the web novel. I would recommend this to someone who wants a quick sweet story. Like candy, not much nutritional value but sweet ... and pleasant. Overall 6/10 isekai manga. And hey, at least this one actually ended.

Assassination classroom is not a great action manga. It is however a great slice of life manga with action.
All of the characters in the class are fleshed out and given usually a chapter or more to make themselves unique and different. This is good because most of the manga is about them and their relationship with Koro-sensei. The main character is a bit bland at first because he is the vehicle to view the interactions between the other students and Koro-sensei. However, as things go on he does grow and get stronger. Which is not something usually seen from the usually pretty static main ... characters of slice of life manga.

As in most slice of life the overall story isn't nearly as strong as the day-to-day stories. However, because it does have an overall story it does make it more impactful as these are characters you have learned about and hopefully care about.

Overall Assassination Classroom is a pretty good slice of life manga with a lot of charm, some action, and an overall plot that doesn't overstay its welcome.
