Just 4 months later after following the success of Highschool DxD and its perverted yet popular protagonist Issei, Dakara Boku wa, H ga Dekinai its first episode. After watching the first episode me being a huge harem fan expected great things from this show. However with time all my expectations were shot down and flushed down the toilet making me regret ever watching this in the first place.
Plot 2/10
The plot was so bad it was almost disgusting that the producers could come up with this garbage and try to pass it off as a decent story. What turned me off the most was that
...
the story was decent until about episode 7 and it felt like something was thrown in the faces off all the fans with poor story telling and replacing the plot with pure fanservice. All the seriousness of the anime was taken out and replaced by flat chests, big boobs and girls stripping every 5 seconds for completely no reason (atleast they had an excuse before) thus leaving a bad taste in my mouth. Not to mention by doing so nothing made sense and I have no idea how I was able to set to this "Completed" on my list.
Characters 4/10
If I was to go through all the characters and make a list of all the traits they have and my feelings toward them, my list would look sort of like...
----->Borderline Sex-Offender , Shallow , Annoying , Stuck Up , "Closet Pervert" , "Just Die Already", "No One Likes You"
And that's just me being nice. All the characters are unlikable,, unrealistic, and almost pitiable. The only reason for the 4 is being of the character designs.
Art 9/10
If there was one thing I could praise "So, I Can't Play H!" for, it would be its art. Its nice too look at, easy on the eyes and at times stunning. It was very well done. To be honest it didn't deserve it.
Sound 8/10
The Sound was another plus for me. I enjoyed the music throughout the series and enjoyed the OP and Ed with the OP giving me that Accel World feeling.
Overall 5/10 (Rounded Up)
Thinking back this might be one of the worst things I've ever seen but I can still name a few more animes that I feel are much worse than this. I also might be being too critical of this. It had a great start and a lot of potential. However it feels like all that was pushed aside by all the needless fanservice and random ecchi devices thrown in. I Recommend this to anyone who loves fanservice, anyone wants to laugh at a bad anime, or anyone who has the extreme power to sit through 12 episodes of this nonsense.

Problems and conflict are things that appear naturally throughout life. It might be annoying but one day you encounter one of these so called problems. You decide to solve it and eventually come up with an answer that you think is right and with this the problem is solved! If you think this is true than after watching Gosick you'll finally understand the reason why there is more than one answer to every question. GoSick is an anime that will take you on a series of twists in turns turning what you thought was right inside out and showing a the viewer another solution to
...
the problem.
Plot 10/10
At first glace GoSick might appear as your average murder mystery with our heroine, Victorique solving many of the mysteries using her amazing/unorthodox deductive skills with bits of comedy thrown in here and there. We'll if you thought this your wrong. As the story progresses suspense is thrown as you begin to see a larger conflict forming and within it the viewer starts to see how fates of all the characters intertwine and how everyone is connected to a bigger picture. One with everything that you thought was right turning out to be a wrong while at the same time leaving you with more and more questions. Finally when you reach the end where you don't know what to believe anymore all your questions are answered and everything is wrapped on beautifully with not a single scene being wasted throughout the series. During the last 20 seconds of episode 23 all I could do was stare at my screen and say amazing...
Characters 9/10
The plot is driven significantly with the help of the characters through the use of myths, fairy tails and other methods of story telling. For example when Kujo arrives at the school he becomes isolated from the rest of his classmates due to his black hair and dark eyes and gains the nickname, "The Dark Reaper" which is based on a ghost story. Victorique is also often described as a "fairy"" which comes from another story. And through this all the stories eventually come together the reveal many hidden secrets
The characters themselves are fun and easy to get used to in the beggining. You have your loli gothic detective Victorique who solves mysteries while at the same time bullying our protagonist and "Dark Reaper" Kujo. Throw in a police officer brother who takes advantage of his sister, a quirky teacher and busy body friend and you got yourself the making of an average anime but as their backgrounds are revealed and the mood begins to darken more characters are introduce and things arent what they seem too be.
Sound 8/10
The OP was the first thing to attract me to this Anime. It was catchy, fast-paced and something watch completely each week and shake my head to while singing along and I'm the type of person who usually skips the OP and goes straight to the actual show. Also throughout the entire series, the right music was played at key times to accompany the mood at that current time almost like magic, making it even more enjoyable. The EPs on the other hand where disappointing
Art 9/10
When you think art in GoSick the first thing that will pop into your head will be the backgrounds. All of them were well detailed and added to the enjoyment factor of the show. In some parts the effort put into the backgrounds made some scenes feel more realistic/believable.
Overall 9/10
GoSick is one of my all time favorite animes manly because the ending of the 2nd to last episode is probably something I'll never forget for a long time. Although people who love mystery would enjoy this alot, GoSick has many other elements that'll appeal to the viewer like the progression of Kujo and Victorique's relationship throughout the story and much more. I recommend it to anyone who has free time and needs something to watch.

Plot 7/10
To someone who isn't used to shoujo anime and manga, the plot is decent but to someone who's read alot of the genre the plot isnt that original. Its full of some cliches such as, "A rival appears and falls in love with the heroine", and "A rival appears and falls in love with the hero" and stuff like that. Although it has all these elements the plot still holds up and makes the story enjoyable.
Characters 7/10
The characters are actually really fun and relate-able. At first Mei's personality is weak in the beginning of the anime, as the story progresses she becomes much stronger
...
as a person and begins to enjoy herself more opening up chances for comedic relief and taking some of the drama out of the series. The antagonists and her friends are a little cliche but their personalities and background stories are unique in their own ways and they will make develop different emotions toward them the more they interact with Mei.
Ex// frustration, anger, etc
Sound 6/10
I'm sorry the sound in this was dreadful. I know they used slow music to complement the mood of the anime however both the OP and the EP are extremely slow and boring. I don't think I even got through 10 whole seconds of any of them however I'm sure some people enjoy but it wasnt my cup of tea.
Art 8/10
The art in "Say I Love You" leans more on the realistic side but keeps its anime appeal. The backgrounds are beautiful and since this falls under the shoujo genre the characters are well detailed. Overall the art is great.
Overall 7/10
Sukitte Li Na Yo. is a melodramatic anime that explorers the relationships of a girl named Mei and how she struggles to trust people and open up her heart due to bullying early on. Through her time spent with Yamato she begins to grow as a person which ultimately allows her to start enjoying her school life and make friends. I recommend this anime to any shoujo lovers or people who like romance anime but I wouldn't recommend it to people who hate dramatic stuff like clannad etc becomes 99% of it is just that. Altogether I give it a 7/10. It has its flaws but its a great watch.

Plot: (5/10) To be honest if you are looking for a plot while watching this you would probably need a magnifying glass and a metal detector. Each episode feels episodic with little to none character development. After watching all 12 episodes I still don't know what the whole point of the anime was but nonetheless I still enjoyed it. The comedy and characters make up for the plot in a way
Characters: (7/10) If I was to describe all the characters in this anime with one word, I would have to say the are all a bunch of weirdoes with one or two normal people. We
...
have an editor who is a member of the masochistic order, a sadist author, a talking dog, a bro-con yandere younger sister, a singing maid who's broom turns into a sword, a guy with an afro, random half naked guys and the list of weirdoes continues. But the characters give Inu to Hasami an original feel and add make the gags even funnier.
Sound: (8/10)The Opening Is Wan Wan Wan Wan sang by Inu Musume Club
The Ending Is Lemonade Scandal sang by Yuu Serizawa who is also the voice actor for Maxi
I loved both the openings and endings and I ended up watching them most of the time instead of my usual habit of skipping through Ops and Eds. They have a catchy ring to them and falls under the list of the type of music I Like.
Art (6/10)Art is better than something that came out in 2006 and such but to me it felt kind of dull. It wasn't anything special, It was just something you would expect in 2013. The art didn't really give it a boost in appeal but was ok to look at. It was average.
Overall 7/10
Overall this is more of a gag anime with hilarious jokes. I laughed a lot during each episode and it was the only thing keeping me attached to this anime. I couldn't wait for the next episode to come out during the next week. It wasn't the best anime this season but I still found it enjoyable. I don't recommend this if you are looking for something with a strong plot or anything but if you like gag animes with a little romance this would be the perfect anime for you.

[Synopsis]Takao, who is training to become a shoemaker, skipped school and is sketching shoes in a Japanese-style garden. He meets a mysterious woman, Yukino, who is older than him. Then, without arranging the times, the two start to see each other again and again, but only on rainy days. They deepen their relationship and open up to each other. But the end of the rainy season soon approaches...
[Plot 7/10] In just a little over 45 minutes this movie takes you on a journey and explores an awkward meeting on one rainy day between a 15 year old boy named Takao, who dreams of becoming a
...
shoe maker, and a older women named Yukino who has lost her way and is struggling to walk on her own two feet. The plot isn't really out in the open but subtle. Its explained through flashes of their interactions each time they see each other at the park and their experiences while they are away from each other. The pacing felt sort of rushed in the beginning because the movie is only 46 minutes but once the movie is over you feel like the pacing was perfect and it complimented the moving story perfectly.
[Characters 9/10] The movie focuses mainly on Takao and Yukino so they get a lot of character development. I felt like I could relate to what they were going through and what they were feeling. Followed by the amazing art, these two people help bring the story to life.
[Art 10/10] If I was to use one word to describe the art it would be "stunning". The art was probably some of the best art I have ever seen in my life with wonderfully designed backgrounds and beautiful rain backdrops. It was on par with the Studio Ghibli stuff. The character designs were amazing and realistic. I cant even describe it in words.
[Sound 8/10]To be honest I didn't even think about the sound until I decided to write this review. I was too focused on the art and the story until the very end. When I went back and listened to some of the OST I found it went with the movie perfectly. Also the lyrics to the only actual song with words at the end described the ending beautifully.
[Overall 9/10] Overall although the movie feels rushed in the beginning it gets straight to the point and reaches it's conclusion before you even know it with you asking for more. The movie is only 46 minutes so it doesn't take that long to watch so if your looking for a quick romance movie to watch if you have nothing else to watch I recommend this. Towards the end I found myself tearing up although it had a happy ending.

[Rant]
A while back I remember watching Infinite Stratos for the first time. The harem and comedy elements of it were good and although I'm not really a fan of mecha I could stomach it and thought it was a good anime altogether and rated it pretty high. When I found out a 2nd season was coming out I was excited, like I bet all IS fans were, but sadly the 2nd season was a huge let-down.
[Plot: 4/10]
No plot what-so-ever. It was episodic and pretty much random throughout the whole series. The whole basis of the anime was only only visited in like 2 or 3
...
episodes and then the rest of the anime was followed but "The Daily Lives Of Ichika And His Harem" .The fight scenes were lazy, the storyboard was lazy and altogether IS 2 was horrible. The only good thing about IS I can think of is the comedy which entertained me for most of the anime but then the same gags kept getting repeated over and over again and after awhile you just get tired of it.
Characters: 2/10
S.H.A.L.L.O.W
In the first season of IS, the characters were just being introduced so Ichika's Harem had a lot of character development and we went through their back stories. Each character had episodes dedicated to them and we got to know them better. Since IS 2 continues were IS 1 left off, all we get is Ichika's mindless harem who are blindly in love with him for god knows what reason. Ichika is the most stupidest protagonist I have ever seen. There's a limit to how ignorant you can be. The girls are freaking throwing themselves at you and nothing comes to mind. If i had a penny for every time Ichika said something stupid or corny to one of the girls I'd be a billionaire. So the fans don't find this too weird they even added 2 more girls to his harem. The first ones personality was ok but her sister was as generic as can be and it was a pain to hear her say anything.
[Art: 6/10]
The art was actually really good. Its nice to look at and was a redeeming factor of the anime.
[Sound: 8/10]
I actually liked the OP and ED. They had somewhat good replay value but are easily forgetable.
[Overall 4/10]
Infinite Stratos 2 was trash and the worst anime of the season. I normally don't say this but after watching all 12 episodes I regret every second of this and think it would of been better if IS 2 was never made. If your an IS fan go ahead and watch this because it brings back all your favorite people from the first season but be prepared to be disappointed severely. Also to top everything off the ending was horrible too. It started off average but then turned into a snow ball going down a mountain and kept on getting worse and worse until your hit with the impact from the giant snowball crying for help but no one can hear your calls.

If you like horror anime like me you have probably seen things like Higurashi, Another, Elfen Lied, Umineko, Shiki and much more. The list can go on forever but Corpse Party : Tortured Souls has a little something that sets it apart from the rest. This is probably the most f***ked up anime I've seen (I said anime; Ive seen some other messed up stuff). They left no stone left unturned and it didn't really help that I was watching it at like 1 am in the morning.
[Plot : 7/10] For the first 12 or 13 minutes I thought that this was super cliche and
...
boring and nothing exciting was happening. One girl has a crush on one of the guys. A teacher ends up breaking up the fun etc. A group of students telling ghost stories in an abandoned building sounds very original right? Everything took a turn for the worse when all of the supernatural events started happening. At first the plot feels really boring but as the story progresses the there's a lot of good plot twists to keep the watcher watching. The plot isn't really the best part of this anime. Although there's only 3 episodes it gets its point across.
[Characters: 8/10] There's nothing special about the characters alone. Just a bunch of random personalities that you would see in most anime. A imouto who loves her onii-chan. two BFFs, A tsundere who fights with one of the male leads. However as the story progresses the inner feelings of the characters come out and you see how they begin to change when confronted with despair.
[Art 9/10] The art was really really good. Its the selling point of this anime. The art made all the disgusting scenes and atmosphere what they were. Its really graphic though so I wouldn't recommend this if you cant stand blood or the sight of someone getting splattered all over a wall. T_T
[Sound 8/10] The OP is creepy and sounds sort of like the Tasogare Otome x Amnesia OP. The sounds of "The murders" were gross and sounded good at the same time. The voice actors were good and once you finish the anime the ED is sad. The OST was put together well.
[Overall 8/10] A really good horror. It isnt as good as Higurashi but its better then Another and the recent horrors that came out recently. Once again its really graphic so dont watch this if you cant handle horror stuff. You can watch it here.

Plot [7/10] : Step into the world of world conquest!!! If I was to describe Sekai Sefuku's plot so you get a good grasp of what the anime is about it would require long mathematics formulas, a few of Newton's laws, a wet nap and a glass of cranberry juice. But to simplify, Sekai Seifuku is just what the name entails... World domination. The story centers around a boy named Jimon Asuta, A.K.A Dva, who runs away from home and finds refuge in the the Zvezda;an "evil" organizaiton who's goals are to....basically take over the world. Each episode is mixed with a good amount
...
of comedy but this isn't really a gag manga. The manga uses a type of dark humor that seems light at first glance. Add in a light organization who is trying to shut down Zvezda and you basically have Sekai Sefuku. Instead of being plot oriented this story is more character driven..
Characters [9/10]
I loved the characters. They kinda reminded me of Awakawa Under the Bridge because in AwaxBridge everyone who lives under the the bridge are weirdos with only 1 sane person trying to figure out WTH is going on. If you relate that to the members of Zvezda, Asuta is probably the only normal person. The character designs are really good and I enjoyed a lot of the back stories. Although they are random at times they made this a really good anime and you cant lie... The costumes are bad a$$.
Sound/Art [8/10]
The Op was really done well and Its fun to listen to. The art is above average and adds to the enjoyment of the anime. There's a lot of pretty colors and its nice an easy on the eyes.
Overall [9/10]
For me this was the best anime of the winter season. But i didn't watch the Oda Nabunaga based anime so I cant count them but I watched a fair amount of the winter season. It takes about 3 episodes to get used to the pace but overall it was done really well. I recommend this to people who loved comedy and weird characters. Also at the end of this anime it attempts to have some sort of plot and although it fails IMO its still good.
