The art, sound, and characters were good but the plot line was what dragged it all down. Without a good plot, I did not enjoy it at all. Diabolik Lovers pulled me in at first because of the prospect of vampires like an otome game. But alas, it did not meet my expectations and recommend not to watch it for it is a waste of time. Later on, in episode 10 it starts to pick up a little so I didn't give it a complete flop of the story part of my review. I am trying not to reveal anything in case you would like ... to see for your self. The episodes are really short like 16 minutes or so not like the regular anime episode which is usually 25 minutes which is the way I like them. I bet that they did that so that it would seem like the plot extends through a lot of episodes. I am unsure if there is a season two which I need to look into but if I didn't enjoy the first season I am positive I will not be watching the second. Actually, I just did some searching on the handy dandy web and there is which is called Diabolik Lovers, More Blood and it seems to be more interesting when I looked at the synopsis. So, watch Diabolik Lovers... if you dare.
