If you are like me, then you enjoyed Ao no Exorcist for the overall concept of the show. I love the idea of a character struggling with an inner evil that they had no control over receiving, so they must keep their struggle a secret. Parasyte deals with a wimpy teen who can't figure out what is wrong with his hand, until one day he jumps out into the street to save a little girl from getting hit by a car, and he suddenly sees an eye and claws grow out of his hand that completely stop the car in its tracks. He keeps his sudden development a secret from everyone and starts to loose his own identity as the show progresses. The anime is in a type of horror style and is very addictive/binge worthy.
