Soul Eater is an anime that talks about a school called "Shibusen" which Meister handle people who have the ability to turn into weapons for the purpose of collecting Kishin eggs, maintaining peace in the world. In addition, the weapon that eating 99 kishin eggs and 1 witch soul, becomes a "Death Scythe", a very powerful weapon.
The anime begins with the first 3 episodes serving as introduction to the main characters: Maka and Soul, Black Star and Tsubaki, Death The Kid and Liz and Patty. The Soul Eater's narrative is simple and often somewhat episodic. However, at some point, it is replaced by a continuous
...
plot which constitutes multiple issues that end up leading to the "nucleus".
Ah! I forgot to mention one thing. Soul Eater is a very fun anime. When you least expect it, the 24 minutes have passed. Sometimes, for a few action scenes, it has a funny situation. This may not please to some people.
The characters are the strongest point of Soul Eater. Although caricatured, they are extremely captivating. Each has a unique feature. And what is most amazing, is their relationship with each other. It is so natural! They really look like true friends. Joking, playing basketball, talking, discussing. It seems the kind of relationship you possibly have had or have. The only problem is that unfortunately they do not get much development during the series.
The secondary characters are very interesting. Some of them receive some development, but nothing extremely deep (with the exception of Chrona). We cannot forget to mention a very memorable character, the annoying guy who no one wants around, Excalibur. Your eccentric way earned me a lot of laughs.
Another positive point of Soul Eater is your world. A moon with psychopath's face and a sun with a bored face. No one would mistake Soul Eater with another anime after seeing this. This world is a crazy mix of halloween with hip-hop. The influence of Hip-hop can be seen even in the clothes of the characters and the soundtrack.
About animation, nothing to complain about. The trace is a little cartoonish, however, the animation is excellent and has many sakugas. The color, though simple, is very beautiful and pleasant. Quality seal!
Regarding the openings, endings and ost's, they are excellent! It's that super memorable soundtrack, which makes you go back to listen again. As I have said, the soundtrack has influence in hip-hop. Quality seal!
Now we go to that boring part of the review ...THE FINAL EPISODES OF THE ANIME. In the last episodes of Soul Eater, the story begins to decline. Characters that had an interesting purpose, was left with weak purposes. And the final, honestly, got very poorly executed for such a cool show. It's like they throw several things in the last minutes. Predictable and forced. And the final minutes leave an air: "?? Is it over?". Still, Soul Eater qualities excel over the defects.
Resume:
Positive points:
* Cool world
* Captivating Characters
* Excellent animation / soundtrack
* Very entertaining
Negative points:
* There is not much character development
* Final average / mediocre
Personal note: 9/10
MAL: 8/10
Ps: Sorry for my bad english...

The first cour had a great progress. However, it declined a bit this second cour.
We had more action and character development. Giving focus mainly on the clash between Shirou and Archer. The animation in general was very good, just gave a fallen light in some scenes, but nothing too serious. In this adaptation of Fate managed to convey very well what the Visual novel wanted to spend. It was not a 100% faithful adaptation (maybe 90% faithful ), but unlike the previous studio, that enriched the story, adding more detail and develop harmoniously. We have seen some situations from the perspectives of other characters like
...
as Illya, Saber and Caster.
Something I loved in this adaptation was the constant use of symbolism to represent the feelings and suffering of the characters. I also really enjoyed the monologues placed in the anime, especially in flashbacks of Archer.
My complaints with the anime are relative to some anti-climatic cuts, which in some episodes totally broke the climate of the previous episode (or previous scene). A serious error direction.
Another thing I did not like, was again forgetting some important explanations, which have not been placed, left the anime with some information missing. Not are things so serious, but would have left the anime with a lot better.
There are several opinions about the protagonist. I can not hate him ... he just follows what he believe is right, however this is wrong. He does not care about the opinions of others, and has no regrets what he does. This can be seen by many peoples as something stupid, but in my viewpoint, I just see someone following and believing what think it's correct, hypocritical or not.
The anime ended in a very pleasant way, with an epilogue going on two years after the war and showing a bit of life of the protagonists after that. We had a surprise appearance of a character who was present during the Fate/Zero events.
As a general, the anime was not something completely spectacular, but just something good which provided striking scenes and interesting characters. 8/10

It's a little hard to talk about this anime. I was waiting I are done playing the visual novel to make this review.
The anime starts a little slow, in fact, the first cour is slow. This is because this route is the introduction of visual novel. But the second flows faster. The anime has mostly as focus the protagonist's relationship with the character named Saber, who is the heroine of the anime.
Well, the anime idea itself is very good! the story of the Holy Grail ritual and invocation of servants are very interesting. Moreover, the world of anime is so well done. HOWEVER, some things
...
were very poorly executed. Principally in a matter of the romance, which was too forced in the anime. The character "Saber" changed their behavior very fast, something that was not so sudden in VN. The protagonist does not help much. He's like a walking suicidal, a stubborn child. Another thing was also the presence of a hole during episode 15, which goes unnoticed by those who know not much of the original material.
The animation is pretty mediocre, with extremely constant presence of static frames. Inconsistent designers with a few bugs. It is the famous animation called " PowerPaint Animation".
The anime was able to explain the basic mechanics of the Holy Grail War, but did not elaborate too much. Something that disappointed me in the anime, was the lack of the depth in the dialogues, flashbacks, actions, reactions and thoughts of the characters. Something that the visual novel is well philosophical and deep.
The final fight was quite confusing for the spectators of anime. Nor I had understood when I saw the first time. The anime is not very faithful to VN, mixing a little of the 3 routes. "Mixing" in quotes, because it was more to collage. They did not care much for logic and simply put certain scenes there. Like the kidnapping of a certain character that does not even appear in the middle of the situation.
The soundtrack is simple but striking. Especially OSTs of the characters who are very good. The only problem is that sometimes the ost's are not so well embedded.
Same with all these defects I can still enjoy this anime ... The protagonist has many faults, but he is brave, altuist (too much) and does not regret of what it does, but it is childish. Because this, I like him. He has his faults, but also has its qualities. It was he who managed to save the heroine of a tragic fate, which incidentally was not explained in the anime.
Something that I found very beautiful was the heroine acceptance to realize that his wish was not right. She gave the best of himself and did not need to use the grail for that. What it led to one of the most beautiful end.
Conclusion: Talking about the story, the general idea is very good. But the execution, not so much. About anime in general, he was very ill-suited! removing much of the essence of the original work, leaving behind several important explanations for the understanding of the characters and the plot.
My recommendation? the visual novel. When I read, I saw an absurd difference, both in the narrative and depth of the story.

Rozen Maiden, an anime that can have drama, action and comedy all in perfect harmony.
The anime revolves around a creator of dolls created a legendary collection of 7 living dolls, called "Rozen Maiden", he puts them in a game, in order to know which doll is worthy of becoming "Alice" the perfect girl. The story follows Jun, a hikikimori which has a school trauma and accidentally becomes master of the fifth doll, Shinku.
The anime has a melancholy and mysterious air, this can be seen mainly in the opening of the anime and in his scenarios. It has a very interesting story and endearing characters.
Something very
...
interesting in this anime is that the author did a story with a boy as protagonist surrounded dolls, breaking the stereotype that only girls should be involved with dolls without this seems strange. It's that kind of anime that even when not focused on the plot can arrest you with comic situations.
It is not very faithful to the manga, and unfortunately the features of some characters have been modified: Shinku in the manga is not as serious as this anime, the same thing with Suigintou doll, which in the manga makes many sarcastic jokes, but in the anime is more serious. The Jun sister also makes many jokes about puberty, but in the anime it is virtually nonexistent. Even with these differences, the anime still manages to get the main ideas of the plot.
During the anime we can see the evolution of the protagonist in relation to their trauma, and even over the characters, like his sister and dolls, in which he did not get along very well.
The only thing I think was missing in anime, that was not much talked about the creator of Rozen Maiden, nor how he did it and what were his exact reasons for this. In the manga it has been said more clearly, but in the anime it has gone a bit unnoticed.
If you are looking for something different, with comedy and a bit of drama, Rozen Maiden is a good choice.

Undoubtedly, Fate/Zero was one of the best anime I've ever seen ...
The anime is a prequel to "Fate / Stay Night." The story tells about 7 wizards fighting in a war for the Holy Grail, which is an object that holds desires. But, to fight this war, is necessary to invoke servants who are heroic spirits of other ages. The servants are divided into 7 different classes: Saber, Rider, Berserker, Archer, Assassin, Lancer and Caster .
We are introduced to a serious and mature environment where we are shown the interests of each one of the war. Each has a different reason to fight in the
...
war, Fate / Zero gives us a sense of surprise at any time, for there is no protagonism, which means that any time anyone can be eliminated from war. The characters are extremely charismatic, and they are well exploited in the anime.
One thing that is very common during the series, is the debate about ideal, as each character has its own personality and different thoughts.
The first cour is a little slower, it's like the preparation of the war, since the second is busiest, is the application of the strategies formulated in the first cour.
The art of anime pleased me greatly. Speaking in the animation, CG in general is very well applied, only had a poorly made here and there, but nothing that has muddled. The Ufotable is one of the few studios that knows merge 2d along with CG. The fights are also very well animated.
Fate / Zero is a mix of fantasy with tragedy, I could not expect less Gen Urobuchi. The anime soundtrack is wonderful! one of the best, and fits perfectly with the theme of the anime. I'm not handing out 10, but this one deserves!
