What do these two anime have in common? They're both centered around cars and driving. Fast driving and real car models in both, other than that, there really aren't much similarities, if any. Ex-Driver is more lighthearted and shounen style, while Initial D has drama and is somewhat more realistic. But if you have seen one and liked the car theme, then you might want the check the other as well, since there must be less than a handful of animes about cars.

The main protagonists go through a lot of things in their mind while trying to overcome themselves. Both series deal with similar problems and politics, and have psychological aspects. Despite being scifi stories, both have a kind of sense of realism by introducing technologies that feel realistic. And not to forget the mature drama that's present in both.

The SoulTaker: Tamashii-gari
|
Ergo Proxy and Soultaker both take place in dark scifi worlds, and both have a very strong sense of mystery in them. Though their visual styles are very different from each other, both have black as the main color most of the time, which adds to the already bleak atmosphere. The main protagonists in both discover that they can turn into powerful monsters, and encounter other people with similar powers. Both characters also suffer from trauma and amnesia, and each go through some introspection. While there are similarities between these two series, Ergo Proxy is far more psychological and focuses more on the mentality of the characters, while Soultaker has much more action and is more fast-paced.

They're pretty much of the same genre; they're fantasy adventure animes with comedy. Though Druaga is more serious, it still has its own comedy moments. Both follow the adventures of a group of heroes on their epic quests, and are set in fantasy worlds that have many classic fantasy elements, suchs as mythical places, dragons and other fantasy creatures, and swords and sorcery.

Both are comedies with magical main female protagonists and mature content, and crazy on their own ways. While Dokuro-chan is violent and gory, Kanokon is erotic with lots of bare female skin. Even though they are cute animes, they're definitely not for kids.
