This manga is about a middle age man that gets reincarnated in a fantasy world, where he is born into the aristocratic house of louvent, as the heir of the tiny barony known as Lamberg. When the MC was reincarnated he was gifted with a unique skill to read other peoples current and potential stats. When you read this manga don't expect great action, sure there was action in it, but it was never the main focus, this is the type of manga thats more narrative focusing more how the MC gonna be a noble, to prepare himself as the heir of the barony.
At first
...
10 chapter++, i thought this manga's about MC going through the city then coincidentally finding hidden gems in a pile of trash. it kinda remains like that until chapter 20 where the MC meet his fiancee and it gets political beyond that.
About the characters, MC is supposed to be a 20-30 middle aged man that reincarnated as a child, but his action didn't seems to mirror that (which is better better then Rudeus that wants to rape every girl he saw), if you want to have fun reading this, its best just to assume that this is just a child with past memory not reincanated, since the author didn't even mention his reincarnated story past chapter 1. (In chp 28 MC is currently going through a chaacter growth, hopefully he can get better as a character, i'm holding this on hold cause i decided to wait for the anime to release)
For the other character, like rietz, charlotte, and others there was nothing special. One thing that irritates me is the lack of refusal by other town to rietz, in the early chapter. I get that he becomes good terms with everyone in Lamberg but not in other places. Thank goodness they fixed it by making people acknowledging his achievement and strenght.
BUT, i find it good that other one time use NPC has a good story, characters like Rosell's father, MC's fiancee, have a good backstory and deep motivation/meaning behind their words. I also noticed that some characters here rejects the usual anime tropes.
