The dreaming boy is a realist start what a strong premise about a boy who follows his crush constantly, even becoming annoing and hated by the girl. However the MC suddenly realise how badly he is a stalker and how the girl feels and start to a avoid her for her own sake. The premise is interesting and really caught my eye so I started watching it hoping for a really good fresh romance anime but then…
STORY 3/10
The 3 points gained by the story can be summarised in the firsts episodes where the 2 MCs interacts and the girl starts to feel lonely and sad

because the boy is leaving her alone. She starts to understand how valuable he was in her life and how he was a really big part of it. This was the best part even if the two MCs interacts like 2 or maybe 3 times for episode . However this ends almost immediately with the job arc where the boy meets other two girls and start to build HIS FUDGIN HAREM. He doesn’t have any interaction with the girl who doesn’t do absolutly anything to meet him and they don’t meet for an ENTIRE SUMMER. This ruins completly the anime because a romance anime is about the relationship between two characters and this is completly absent.
ANIMATION 2/10
The animation is horrible. I think this is the worst animation I’ve seen ever for its constant lack of quality. There are drawings with wrong proportions every episode and it’s just painful to watch sometimes. There are also frames who lasts even 1/2 seconds and in 2023 I think It’s unacceptable.
CHARACTERS: 4/10
The characters aren’t really well developed and are pretty bad written. Sajo , the MC seems like a new simple and fresh character, as he isn’t really cool or anything and he is relatable in a certain way, however he is a stalker and base his entire life on following Natsukawa (the Main Girl) steps, and everyone else is almost forgettable.
MUSIC: 5/10
The music isn’t bad but it isn’t good either. It’s just pretty mid and not really well used. Even the opening song isn’t that good as it hasn’t any peak of voice or parts which captures the wiewer attention. The ending one’s a little better but overall isn’t just good.
OPENING AND ENDING:6/10
As I earlier sad the opening isn’t nothing special at all on the music side and on the graphics side is even worse with lazy frames and with no purpose at all. Basically the op doesn’t tell you anything apart that the MCs will fall in love. Also it shows characters I didn’t even recognized after I finished the anime, so I’ gave it a 2/5.
However the ending is a totally different story. The music is still mid but but better and I loved the mix between the real world graphics and the anime characters, which one were also the mosts importants in the story, not as the useless craps in the op.
PERSONAL ENJOYMENT: 7/10
I know it doesn’t make sense, but I like crappy shit. I honestly couldn’t stop watching this abomination because I believe in redemption and in the end this anime made me smile. I’m glad I finished this and I would continue watching it.
FINAL VOTE: 4.5
This anime angers me. It had such a promising story but the author just decided to take it all and throw it in the bin for no reason. However I want another season. I need it. I need to see the potential of this anime full filled. I also think you should give it a shot if I like romance anime and crappy shit like me.
