How should I put this? It's difficult to explain. -The stories are different, other than the themes of wanting someone you can't have, but yet these two shows feel very similar. -The genres are the same (drama, romance, school), though Kuzu no Honkai has an added Seinen tag. -The two main girls look practically the same. (Hanabi and Misaki) -Little bit of ecchi in each, though not enough to categorize them as such. -Though they are made by different studios, the art styles are similar. -Both have killer opening music.

They also share some physical traits. -One of the main characters of both series wish to die (won't say who xD)

Orange

Both stories involve someone (or in Orange, a group of people) "going back in time" to save a friend from dying. Orange focuses more on the dramatic, emotional side of things while Boku dake ga Inai Machi has more action and suspense. Both are very good shows, especially if you appreciate the sci-fi elements.
