I just finished the anime Angel Beats, and I have to say, I am disappointed. They did not develop the romance as much as they should have, and focused on comedy. I really wanted there to be more sad parts. I know people say that Angel Beats was pretty sad, but it just didn't leave me empty like the way I wanted it to. I shed a single tear during episode 3, but that was the end of it. Also, even though the writers focused more on comedy, there weren't that many funny parts. There was just so much wasted potential. Great soundtrack though.
