Let me start this review by saying, if you like Kaguya-sama love is war... Than don't bother reading any reviews just go and read this manga. Chiyo has the same energy as Kaguya from Aka's masterpiece. This Manga take place back in time in the Samurai era. Luckily no one is isekai'd into this world. This story is about a couple who are in an arranged marriage. They have misunderstandings amongst each other as Chiyo tends to fake a smile to hide her emotions. The misunderstanding lys in the fact that her husband thinks shes dislikes him. However that not case in this situations. Their ... dynamic and the situations they get into make the manga is pleasure to read. I give 10/10 the enjoyment factor is off the charts. When I picked this up randomly I actually binged all the chapters immediately. That's how invested I got in this story! Please check it out

This is just a recap filler episode that is 100% skippable.
Covers events from episode 1-8 basically. Nothing new here.
On most streaming service its labeled episode 9.5 I believe.

I would only consider watching this if you want to catch up maybe from a break.
Or if you are a big fan and want to see all the content.
Overall I would give this a 6, its fine. But I wish I would see less of the recap episode.
They are no fun and really don't provide any entertainment value.

Personally I have to give it only a 6/10. As in its just fine by MAL standards.
I actually advise most people ... to straight up skip this episode.

Probably one of the best manga to anime adaptions I've ever seen. Very few details are missing from the anime. Which is rare as most animes are missing a lot of details from the manga, or ever worse change details. This is a must watch for anyone as the is a very unique and wholesome romance comedy. The art and story is on point. There are major arcs that dont over stay their welcome. The music is also on point. The Opening song in particular is amazing. But most importantly the characters are very lovable and believable. To watch their interactions with each other was ... great. the enjoyment factor is like 15/10. I can't wait for season 2.
