...then you might like Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai. add

The plots themselves aren't actually that similar but they both share the same themes of death, afterlife and romance all whilst showing the struggle of learning to accept death itself, and the death of others. Other than these main similarities, the shows are quite different. Angel Beats being more light-hearted with less tragic scenes, while AnoHana is so much more serious and pretty much every episode feels like a sob fest..

...then you might like Yakusoku no Neverland add

Both series include the astonishing struggle of Psychological Warfare between the protagonists and antagonists. They are both full of suspenseful scenes and brilliant unexpected twists. If you enjoy an anime with mind games between exceedingly intelligent characters. Then this is the anime for you.

If you liked Elfen Lied add

...then you might like Another add

Both of these shows are just amazing for fans of psychological horrors. If you enjoyed the gore and mystery in Another then you are sure to enjoy Elfen lied. Although Another was a lot more graphic when it came to gore, so do not expect the same when watching Elfen lied (it is still pretty much a bloodbath though). But both anime contain strong female leads and whilst both plots are very different, they both have dramatic violent scenes and an amazing storyline filled with emotion.

...then you might like Angel Beats! add

Both of these anime were made by the same studio and both are set in a school environment with a supernatural element in it. They both have depressing endings and emotional scenes through out the series. If you loved canned/angel beats then you are sure to like the other.

The two anime share a unique setting and a world with many mysteries. Both series have wholesome, innocent scenes yet dark undertones, along with this they both have a young energetic girl as the main character. Both have a similar art style and good animation.

...then you might like Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood add

Both series have an amazing, complex storyline involving a wide range of characters for you to fall in love with. Along with this, Both main characters: Naruto and Edward have similar goals, ideals and enemies. The two anime have both tragic emotional moments and amazing action packed scenes.
