Okay here's the thing. Yes , KnB is the stereotypical anime of all time and the most predictable thing I've ever watched. HOWEVER it's a fun anime about basketball that I've enjoyed more than any other anime I've watched in a long time.
Story 4/10:
Ok yes the story is mid and predictable and very very shonen. However that isn't always a bad thing. Story's can be complex and still not be good. The story serves its purpose and clearly isn't the main focus of the series
Art 10/10:
Stylistic choices and colour choices made in this series are top notch and bring so much hype to the show.

Kengan Ashura
(Manga)
add
As a BIG martial arts fan , I was looking for a good martial arts manga to binge. Kengan Asura 100% filled that purpose
Story 8/10: The story isn't by any means breathtaking but it serves it purpose and does an amazing job at subverting expectations. The story develops as the series goes on and never feels like it's lacking any substance. It does an amazing job at being a story that doesn't take too many risks whilst still keeping you on the edge of your seat Art 9/10: The intensity of the art is kengan asura is some of the best I've ever seen. The character designs ... Jun 11, 2019
I am a very big jojo fan. However I am an even bigger Part 7 fan.
It's a well known fact that Araki at first wanted part 7 to be a part of a different series and it shows quite clearly. There is a big shift in the tone and pacing compared to part 6. Story: 9/10 The Story stays entertaining all the way through. The horse racing at the start of the part would be serviceable enough on it's own but as the story progresses it gets much much better. "Who shot Johnny Joestar" is still the most confusing stuff I've seen in a manga ... Jun 11, 2019
There is no speech in Gon. There is only 1 named character. There is essentially no explanation given for why anything is happening. There is only Gon.
Gon is the creation of Masashi Tanaka and the character is most recognisable outside of Japan from his appearance in Tekken 3. As a tekken player myself, I had heard Gon had came from a manga but I never really looked into it. After finishing SunKenRock I wanted to read something else with good art and was recommended Gon. I was pleasantly surprised whilst reading the first chapter to find out there was no dialogue. A very interesting stylistic choice ... |
