Tokyo Ghoul

First time making a recommendation, please excuse my poor English. Both stories revolve about the true meaning of justice and the fine line between wrong and right. In Tokyo Ghoul, it is a struggle in the protagonist's own mind between his ghoul side and human side, as well as his past and present. Whilst in Death Note, both protagonists represent justice in a different manner. The artwork are well done and have a similar sinister feeling, with unique character design and strong contrast. What I liked most about both manga were the large amount of plot twists. The stories are unpredictable yet logical, with loads of information to digest and organize, sometimes leaving questions open for deduction. Since they are of dark and realistic genre, they might not be pleasant for people who like happy endings, though.
