So, I walked into Season 2 of "Cafe Terrace and Its Goddesses" with high hopes, fully expecting the same blend of romantic hijinks and slice-of-life charm that caught my attention in the first season. I mean, who doesn’t enjoy a decent dose of harem drama sprinkled with cutesy moments? The first season was a fun ride, albeit one that felt a tad like a ripoff of "The Quintessential Quintuplets." But hey, who am I to judge? I happily devoured that idea until I noticed something awful creeping in like a soggy bun in an otherwise tasty sandwich.
This season was about as enjoyable as a room
...
full of unfinished homework. The story stumbled around like a panda on roller skates, and the character writing? Let's just say it had all the depth of a kiddie pool. What happened to the hooks and genuine heart? It felt like many of the dialogues were slapped together for convenience—evidence of this was glaring in that cringe-worthy scene with Ami's grandma. Seriously, was that heartfelt, or did someone accidentally edit in a random soap opera script? I half-expected a dramatic soundtrack to start playing. (I think it actually got played too lmao)
Now, let’s talk about the harem aspect. Initially, it was engaging enough and seemed to suggest a lighthearted competition. But then the plot decided to binge-watch itself and dished us ‘glimpses of the future,’ effectively giving us a hint that there is indeed a winner. Just when I thought it couldn’t get any wilder, the author chucked in another five ladies into the mix—like adding extra toppings to an already overloaded pizza. I can only describe it as plain absurdity; I’m still questioning how that was a necessary plot to be added. I mean, keeping track of names was hard enough!
And while I know how wild harem shows can get, from the looks of the first season, I never expected it to get as wild as "High School DxD." Although that might be an overstatement but you do get my point. If the first season was trying to pay homage to "The Quintessential Quintuplets," this season felt more like a parody, complete with clumsy attempts at humor that seemed to miss the mark more often than not.
Picture this: you stroll into the café like it’s a battle royale, but suddenly the main character turns into superman without his invulnerability, getting kissed and "abused" relentlessly by all these so-called goddesses. Honestly, it felt less like playful flirting and more like a one-man comedy skit of 'What Can Go Wrong?' Gotta love the abundance of boundaries shattered, right?
What was supposed to be lighthearted escapades turned into a what-is-happening-to-my-eyes spectacle that left me more uncomfortable than amused. It's like watching someone put way too much hot sauce on their taco—at first, you're intrigued, but then you're just hoping they don't spontaneously combust.
In the end, the second season of "Cafe Terrace and Its Goddesses" was a major downer. All the magic and charisma evaporated faster than my will to review it! Instead of the delightful narrative I expected, what I got was more chaos than character engagement, leaving me scrabbling for something amusing—anything—to salvage my faith in the show. So, unless you have a penchant for hot sauce dancing and cozy kitchen shenanigans gone rogue, I’d suggest giving this season a raincheck.

Frieren has got to be the most overrated anime of all time on MAL. I'd like to make it clear that I do not hate this anime by any means, but I just find it extremely boring to a point its almost unwatchable.
Any adventure or fantasy story has any objectives to complete or to follow, for example hunter x hunter we see that gon is adventuring to find his dad, in FMAB we see that ed is trying to cure his brother. Although it's not a necessity, it's pretty clear that it gives a backbone to a thrilling adventure/fantasy story. Frieren starts from where
...
most fantasy/isekais end which is the story after defeating the demon lord. But since it starts from an absurd point it lacks clear objectives to accomplish or achieve. Frieren the main character who is an elf is just shown to be adventuring while tutoring a student in magic. In hindsight, this is not the adventures of frieren but of her student who is also a relative of a human who was previously in the hero's party with frieren that defeated the demon lord. Since the demon lord has already been ended, its unclear as to why even fern (the student) wants to learn magic from the greatest mage of all time.
Combining the lack of goals or objectives, this show also fails at recognising itself as what it is. Is it about the action considering the last few episodes which were full of it or the emotional slice of life appeal which is shown in bits and pieces, also which everyone talks about. It fails to stand as both.
The action is little to none atleast in the first half of the show, which already makes it a bad action show if it is one. The last few eps which had the most action were considerably and arguably the worst arc to even exist. Let me explain to you this worst arc that I am talking about:--
(MINOR SPOILERS)
So in this arc as frieren and her two friends fern and starc are adventuring, in desire of a somewhat GOAT title in magic, they are shown to be giving a test. This is beyond any logic or sense since how can a previous literal hero who has defeated the demon lord mind you be allowed to give such an exam and to fight to death with literal kids in an exam who are yet to even hit puberty? Well even forgetting this as we begin the test, we got literal bunch of screen time for side characters who only have existence for the sake of this arc. Literal episodes worth of screen time for the sake of nothingness. The fight scenes were them just fighting non sensically with each other for the so called title.
Now, the latter which is the emotional slice of life appeal of this show, lets get to it.
So, first of all it is really really important for us to note that Frieren is a literal elf. Elves lives for thousands of years and thus they do not form any kinds of emotional bonds with any person, even if they do it doesn't affect them. Now frieren while adventuring is shown to be remembering her time of when she was in the hero's party and how she regrets not enjoying those bits and moments with her party members. Now this to give you any kind of emotional appeal is just plain absurdity. You need to be extremely soft to even feel emotional with these scenes. Why do I say that? It's because we are only shown bits and pieces of the past in the present! The way I see it for it to be well done is actually giving a decent amount of screentime to the hero's party before the adventuring begins! If the audience is shown some good moments beforehand, instead of some nonsensical 30 seconds of despair maybe it would be easier for them to actually feel emotional.
Frieren is actually also one of the most blandest written character of all time. She is arrogant as hell and does not give a fuck, which you would expect from an elf. So how do you think that she is able to feel more than 10 seconds of remorse for her long gone dead party members? It is a mystery just like the ratings of this show. I do think that Frieren being a female protag added some biasedness to the overall judgement of this show by the audience but at the end of the day, Frieren is an elf before being a female. And elves do not give a fuck, neither are they capable of giving it. This story would have been 100x more entertaining if frieren would have just called it a day after defeating the demon lord and decided to settle in the countryside just bing chilling. But oh well then this anime would have been named "Chilling in my 100s after resigning from the hero's party, I decided to open a circus".
This show is being spoken as some masterpiece, when in essence and reality it's just some confused, muffled mumbo jumbo of the author which some recognised as "wise words have never been spoken" and it's now giving the domino effect.

From the title, I have to say this, this show never had the potential. You need to be living in a light novel for it to happen and even then it would be a shitshow.
---Minor Spoilers Ahead---
So, basically this show has many problems. First and foremost the most important - The MC. If I had to describe the MC in one word, I'd say he's a rubber. You only pull it out when it's needed and all it does is clean the page. The MC in this case, being pulled out just at the time of a heroine getting rejected after confessing and all he
...
does is provide emotional support. It's already been 6 episodes and he has already done this 3 times. It's repetitive as hell. The MC only has one job and it's being the eraser. Other than that if you ask me, What is he doing or What is he trying to do in the show? I bet even the MC doesn't know what he's doing, but the answer to that according to the author and me is that he is waiting. Waiting for other women to get rejected. He is in the pouch just like an eraser being waited on for a mistake to happen.
Second problem are the dialogues. Some dialogues are just cringe, which I do not mind sometimes. And some on the other hand do not make sense or are just there for the plot convenience. For example, this one losing heroine just spews a love confession out of nowhere to her crush at the time she is in a group of 5 including her crush's gf who is just astonished as to wtf just happened and tf has been just spewed in front of her while her bf tries to chase after the losing heroine after he himself is confused as to what happened and to stop her from crying and then the gf is like "no don't go, I am yo gf woof woof" like I literally giggled while this happened, cuz it's just not rationale thinking by any person. Also not to mention in this scene too the MC went after the losing heroine to provide emotional support.
Third problem, the winner is already known, it's quite obvious since how the characters are shown. The blue haired girl that is. Now, literally in the first ep it's shown that the blue haired girl is a literal weirdo. After being rejected from her crush, after her crush leaves, she fucking takes a big sip outta the cola glass which he prob drank from while the MC just watches her in awe. I know this is adapted from a light novel, anything could happen, like fuckin aliens could drop at any moment but I can't imagine how the MC would end up with her after that. I bet you reverse the roles and you'd realise what I am talking about. The only reason I can think of that she loses is that the author reads this review and decides to shit on me or something.
Fourth problem, it's just plain boring atleast for me. It has it's fair amount of clichés in order to progress the story.
Apart from this, I'd say the production is obviously high class as expected from A-1 pictures. Nothing else is good.

This anime disappointed me after a couple episodes. Ngl, I really had high hopes and expectations from this but this just was not it.
Story :
So, the story being your typical as you might have guessed from the title is just Alya speaking Russian and hiding her feelings from those around her, she does so by speaking in front of the MC. Now this concept did get my attention and I thought it might be something unique. But the way it has been progressed, I found it very cliché. Even the fact that the MC learnt a whole language such as Russian is insane and just
...
to converse with a girl, is like nuts. Some snippets of a childhood friend are shown which cover the backstory, and trust me this idea has been used in like every other romance anime. If the author wanted to do something unique then he should have just followed the story with the same sense of uniqueness.
Apart from this, there are a lot of fan services in this show which I hate. Don't get me wrong, I like fan services, in fact I love them but the fan services in this show are just downright indecent, creepy and unrealistic.
Characters:
1) MC - The MC is the perfect human being. He literally has no flaws and he is good at everything. He is a ladies man as well and he learnt a whole other language which just showcases how intelligent he is. This according to me are the worst type of MC's in a romance anime. These guys do not even try to do anything since everything is well served to them on its own. The harem of girls just fall for them because of their fictional priviliges.
2) Alya - Your usual usual tsundere-chan. She also has good looks, good popularity, good intelligence, but unlike the MC she finds it difficult to deal with other people. The MC being her guardian always guides her out of these tough situations. She is written in such a way that it's almost too predictable to what she'll do next. She denies her feelings of love towards the MC (ofc) because of her pride like you see in almost every romance or harem anime.
3) Yuki (MC's sister) - The most annoying character you'll find in a romcom. She yaps a lot and also has a brother complex. Now this is really weird and in no shape can I fw this. Some said it's a joke but jokes are supposed to be funny and not creepy and weird. It's almost like that this thing is very off-putting and if it wasn't there then this show would atleast be watchable and it wouldn't even affect the story as such.
4) Alya's sister - She might be the only perfectly written character out of all. I have no problems with her.
Art & Sound:
The art is super good and the animation is alright. I really like how all the characters are drawn and the backgrounds are done. 10/10
The osts are kinda mid, voice acting however I must say is top notch.

Unnamed memory is a very popular and esteemed title when it comes to light novels. Being adapted from such a good source you can't expect it to be that bad. But ENGI spitting on our dreams and expectations releases this adaptation which is worse than a pile of bullshit.
Let me get into it straight:
So the story atleast in the first ep looked very promising with the above average art and animation provided to it. But then in the second episode and then all the other further episodes you are greeted with stuff which you dont realise how or why is happening. In short,
...
ENGI skipped full arcs between episodes and also some important interactions of both the main characters. Every episode is like its own story because its not started from where its left off in the previous episode. I haven't read the light novel but I have indeed read the manga to some extent and I can vouch for the quality of the original source material which is miles ahead comparing to this piece of abomination of an adaptation.
I'd recommend just watching the first ep and then reading on the LN or the manga for the best experience.
In a story like this, romance is the main focus point and with the amount of interactions that have been skipped between the main ship is like unfuckingbelievable. Their relationship feels weird to say the least because of how non sensical it becomes result of the full arcs and material skips by ENGI of the source material to fulfill their adaptation I suppose? If we were given a full story paced with the LN or even the manga I think this could have easily been one of the best romance animes out there if not the best. Probably could have easily gotten an 8 rating on MAL.
Anyways you guys should stay away from this.

This season made me happy... when it ended. God damn this whole series sucks. I did a review for the first season and I got a lot of criticism that it was confusing and not well written. So I will try my best to explain it to you why this series is ass and how it's not what it shows itself to be, also why you should not waste your time on this.
Premise:
Now I am sure we all know this is just a simple slice of life of story. It revolves around the main character Hikigaya who thinks he has what it takes to help
...
others. The main goal of the story from the 1st season was pretty clear even though its not mentioned anywhere which is for Hiki to build relationships from the club which his teacher forced him into in the beginning of the story. In the first season we get to see Hiki's interactions with yukino(the club leader) and yui(Hiki's friend with some past story). Now the goal assigned to the club is helping others and basically there is a competition setup by the teacher between Yukino and Hiki to see who can get to help others the most. Although I do not hate this premise as such, but this is the most unrealistic premise if i ever have seen one in a romance anime.
Characters & Romance:
(Some minor spoilers)
Now getting to the conversations between the characters lets start with
1)Hiki & Yukino - So Hiki just from the start of season 1 hated Yukino and rightfully so as she has no manners to talk or the desire to hold even an inch of any conversation with Hiki. But hiki is also a dick himself for holding onto his pride and not talking to her as we see between seasons 1 & 2. Yukino is also very self centered and has an image of Hiki from the beginning in resemblance of a creep or a pervert (not sure as its been some time since i watched this show but you do get what I mean). Now their relationship is very complex, as there are no meaningful conversations between these two. Both have some kinda fucking grudge against each other (Fucking God knows why) and its just boring as fuck to see them even have an inch of talk. Now even after this being a fact for the whole story, still somehow Yukino has developed feelings for Hiki (Dont ask me how), its made very clear in an indirect way though by the end of season 2. So by the interactions that these two had in the first 2 seasons it is kinda clear that there is no romance or chemistry between them, And even still I am sure most people knew who the winning heroine would be from the start of the first season since how they have portrayed these both two. Conclusion : If you could call ignoring each other and desping each other as romance then this is definitely romantic. However this is not the romance definition in any dictionary.
2)Hiki & Yui - Now the interactions between these two seemed way more natural and healthy. Which is why I think she should have been the winner since the romance tag would be appropriate if we had to ship these two. But even still I cannot understand for the sake of fuckin Yui's dog why the hell did Yui fall in love with Hiki? Now from what I mean from that is Hiki is an arrogant asshole who always tried to distance himself from Yui (well from almost everyone smh). Even though he saved her dog and never brought it up does show how kind he is but why the hell would you call Yui a bitch even though jokingly? I guess that dialogue was funny but even so the behaviour of Yui after being called a bitch is beyond me. I bet you do this in real life and you'll get ghosted to death by that person. Now Yui according to me is probably the most sensical and sane character in this whole series( after her dog ofc), but she is a simpleton and the way she acted was only for the sake of Yuki and Hiki and to further their romantic story between both those characters and ignoring her feelings which is beyond me, also only if it wasnt for her sake, this motherfucking series would have never ended i swear. Yui was the only wingman to help develop the relationship between Yuki & Hiki. What she did was nothing more than some fiction (for real) and that was how I thought that even Yui is a poorly written character for the sake of the premise.
3)Hiki & his Sensei - I know you guys are like WTF?!? But its actually true! There is some sexual tension between Hiki & his sensei. The sensei is a pedo for sure. And the whole her acting for Hiki's sake is bullshit. It is shown that she is been giving him advices and such, treating him like a baby suckling on her titties so that he can develop the best relationships with Yuki & Yui. Now I have not read the light novel or the manga but I have seen some spoilers which actually made it clear that the Sensei actually had feelings for Hiki. Now in the anime it is not shown in such a way but the confession in the end which is to be taken at satirical value is not so satirical to me and almost creepy as fuck. Also kidnapping her student (Hiki) from the middle of the road to give him some love advice is what this sensei is best at. Disgusting.
4)Hiki & his Kouhai : Now there's another bitch Kouhai which is later shown in the series. She is shown to be kinda mocking Hiki on how he's a lone ass bitch, but later she ironically also develops feelings for him but is unable to get that shit out because of her pride? (IDK WHY) But this is just the cherry on top of the pile of bullshit that has been developed between the characters.
Conclusion : There is no romance. Atleast in first and second season there is none. This season had some little romance and probably the most in comparison to the both season combined. Also even though this is tagged as a love polygon, this show is basically nothing more than another harem anime. Dont get me wrong I like harem animes, in fact I love harem animes but this type of harem is the worst. Like having a sensei and a kouhai in between and also not forgetting the motherfucking femboy in as well... like fuck me its disgusting as hell.
Comedy :
There is supposed to be comedy in this show according to the title but there's none. Hiki is just cracking jokes in his head which are supposed to be funny but they are just not (atleast for me). The humour is pretty lame and out of touch. Even MAL didn't acknowledge this series with the comedy tag and thus you do get my point. There's only drama in this series revolving around romance.
Problem :
So the romance basically evolves around the drama which is there. Such as no talk between the characters, weird interactions, embarassing name calling etc etc. Even still I do think the drama is alright, like its not that bad. But the real problem is that the drama and the dialogues of the characters are written in such a way which is of a very mature nature. Mind you this is some SNAFU of some teens in their 15-16s (not sure). Their drama is very indirect. Hiki is probably aware of the feelings that both the girls hold for him but he is finding some kinda "true fucking love" still dont know what that is even though the series ended. The last confession by Hiki to Yuki was like complete garabge and something you would probably not see teens spew. Like wtf is "I wanna go to college with you and allow me to distorte your life" ?!? Smh my fucking head, i get it, its supposed to be romantic but for a bunch of teenagers this is like "tf you on about my lil weewee?"
The whole prom thing was also what i found to be fucking hilarious considering there is no such thing as prom in japan but the author was kinda interested in giving it some american touch with all the shit that he has probably seen in some american romance movie is just annoying and not very anime like.
Art & Animation :
As I have said in my previous review for season 1 the art for season 1 was like peanuts. Although it did very well improve in season 2 and the best in season 3. The animation was mediocre and probably not something you were here for.
Sound :
Big Fan of all the osts and the voice acting was also top notch. Sucks that the story and characters were of ass quality but it is what is.
So I hope this explains to you why and how i hated this series. The rating that I have given is for this season alone. Obviously nobody would watch this alone so its only logical to view it as a 1-3 season series. As a series I would rate this a whooping 4/10. That's it cya!

"My teen RomCom Snafu" says the title. Well, where the fuck is it then?!? This show is a disgrace to the RomCom genre!
Well, first off, there is no romance or comedy in this show. No, like for real the title of this show is a bunch of bullshit to bait you to watch a 13 episode trash with having no goal or objective in its plot. There isn't even a plot. There are just lifeless characters hovering around the map trying to force meaningless conversations with the most boring ass topics and thinking as if they are making some progress in the story. Pathetic honestly
...
how the producers thought that this is even a least bit of entertaining. This is nothing more than some "not so funny business" if it was made into an anime. This is the most overrated anime I've ever seen.
Apart from the characters and the story being a bunch of baloney, the art and the animation really sucks as well! Its like I'm watching fucking tetris turned into an anime. Its absolutely horrible, everthing looks so dogshit. Having no plot or premise aside this show has some weak drama which looks so forced and cringy that only a robot can think of it as any good.
The only plus points might be the voice acting and the op and ed which I quite liked. Not sure if everyone would have the same opinion as I am an osu player. I am pretty sure that viewers rated this based of the "waifu" priviliges on yukinon cuz this is just garbage otherwise.
Peace.

"Engage kiss" is what comes out after an anime is adapted from a fucked up story with no get-go.
After watching the first episode one would initially think that this is a erotica bundled with some fucked up sci-fi plot having just to cater the needs of lonely man and their bottom half, and well... it is exactly that. But the thing is that it fails to even do that, i.e the basic purpose for which it is made.
The protagonist of the story is a fucking loser with 0 talent and skills, but he is still able to maintain a harem of women head over
...
heels over him just because of his fictional privileges. Not only that, but even the side characters just revolve around the MC and have no self care/ decision making abilities. And on top of that the MC is an asshole and a hypocrite who's basically living controlled by his dick each turn.
The fight scenes and the art being the only good thing about this garbage is what made me to stick around till the end. Otherwise, this is an absolute boring piece of trash not worth even looking.

"Hokkaido gals are super adorable" is an absolute abomination of an anime made. It is so bad and abhorrent that you would question your life while watching this piece of garbage.
The plot and the story of this anime is so bad and bland that you would think twice before watching this absolute monstrosity. Basically, the protagonist of the story is a rich ass guy with no sense and humour and with the "MC" priviliges, which makes this show unbearable to watch. The other adorable hokkaido girls are head over heels for this lame ass MC since the author decided so. Its really petty. There is
...
no chemistry or bond between the characters. Although its hinted they might have a past connection, it cant really be confirmed from the few episodes that I watched. But even still the dialogues and conversations between the characters are cringe worthy and so out of touch.
Even so this being a total shitshow, I would've still continued to watch the whole thing if it just wasn't as boring as it is. You would rather watch ants running their errands than watching this trash and it would still be more fun.
The art is also very mediocre and nothing special. The op and the ed were alright thus the rating. Otherwise this would have been a 0.
