Why make a second season if at the end everything is the same ?
I mean those guys live together, and through this entire season they date for what, almost a year ?!
SPOILER ALRT !!
...
NO KISS.
NO ISSHIKI.
NO INTEREST.
The show was fine as a slice of life comedy, the drama was just okay, the supporting cast(Nibutani, Isshkiki, Dekomori) was great. Now they swap one lousy guy for a Rikka 2.0, and try to add drama to a dying relationship. And I say no sir, I will not defend that mess, even with all the moe in the world and an amazing animation, it's still not worth it. At least throw a kiss at the end and let us enjoy the sweet relief of death.
Shichimiya best gril. The 20 second when she visualize what could have been her relationship with the Dark Flame Master is actually a better love story than all this Rikka bullshit. I ended up wishing he said "You know what ? Screw this, I'm going with that cuter, more balanced, deeper character that conveniently lives upstairs".
BigBangParty out.

This is certainly going to be my favorite show of the season, and it will probably stay as one of my favorite anime ever.
My review takes in account the previous seasons, because you can't really enjoy this one without seeing everything that happened before.
This is probably the perfect sport anime, as you have everything: likeable characters, a colorful supporting cast, great suspense, you really live matches with the team, and come to like every member of the team. Unlike other sport anime, you don't really have one OP major character (aside Ushijima, but he is the antagonist), everything they do seems doable,
...
they all have their flaws, their speciality, and it makes everything more epic as you follow a realistic team ! Epicness is really the key word here, and this season is the most epic you will see. The fact that it is just one game might seem stupid, but there's no stretching no particularly useless flashbacks, everything makes sense and just ascends to the skies.
Art and sound are both amazing, the art is the best of the season, and both OP and END were my favorites of the 3 seasons. I don't usually watch them but here I never missed one.
Characters are amazing. They all get screentime, Hinata is not the center of the picture here, they all haves doubts, goals and they all go through challenges to become stronger. You'll have your favorite character (Kuroo here), without really hating one, as they are all relevant to the story.
Watch. This. Show.

This is the first time I take so much time to write a review, and it's certainly not a smart choice to do so right after watching the movie, as tears are not dried up on my f-ing face.
Of course, I came to this movie because of its grade on MAL, because everyone is praising it, and because I was seeking some beautiful amimation. Go see the trailer and you will absolutely want to see every piece of the full work.
I am not familiar with work of the director, and I don't usually watch full-lenght anime movies other than Miyazaki's (yeah, I don't have any
...
personnality), so I won't be able to judge it within his career. Let's get started:
_ Story: 9.
The story is simple but it's not a bad thing. It expands itself, and seems really belivable, which a great qulity for this kind of story. I will be short, because I don't want to spoil anything, but as the story goes on, you'll find more and more depth to the scenario that you would ahave expected from a romantic comedy. You'll laugh and cry like a b*tch, that's the only thing I can assure you regarding the story.
_ Art: 10.
Quick one also. This is probably the best looking animation I've ever seen. Everything from the lights, camera movements, character depiction, hair, bodies, sceneries, sun, leaves, wind, cities and mountains is outstanding. If you like Japanese animation, you have to watch this, and come to the evidence that we live in a wonderful time as for amition technology. You can see that everything is hand-drawn, and yet it's flawless, smooth.
I hope it sets a new bar for animation, so I can live again something of this intensity.
_ Sound: 9.
I'm not good when it comes to sound. What is a good soundtrack, the one that you keep noticing because it's so good ? Or the one you don't even notice because it suits so well to the atmosphere of the movie ? I'll with the second I think, but this movie does both.
The general atmosphere is really great and team up well with the animation, but we have a couple of songs and montage during the course of the movie, and I wasn't really convinced by it. Maybe it's taste, but I would have prefere the soundtrack without them, I guess.
_ Character: 8.
Well, it's my lowest grade, but 8 is still great right ? The character are depicted really well, and were believable, but now that I come to think of it, they had no distinctions, they sorely exists through their interactions. And it's kind of impressive to make the audience care for "bland" characters, because as the story goes on, I would have sell my entire family to come help them.
Second thing, one of the montage I talked about is actually about the building of the relationship between the two MC, so this important plot device is actually 3min long, but maybe it just spared us washed up Freaky Friday gags, I don't know. I feel like it would have deserved more screen time.
_ Enjoyement: 10.
I cried 3 times. Period. When it comes to the animes which touched me the most, I think about the ones where I cried, even though I usually goes for drama of romantic. That's why I'll say Clannad AS, AnoHana, Angel Beats, and now of course Kimi no Na Wa.
_ Overall: 10.
For the first half I just thought this was going to be a feel-good movie, but it expanded itself and became something that I will probably consider one of my best anime experince in my life. Even though the story seems simple and the character are not as expanded as you could hope, maybe in 20 years it will be considered ugly and boring, but it cannot erase the feeling I have right now, 30min after the end, still smiling, happy about the choices that drove me here to witness this. It's a bit too much, when I see the grades and the reviews, I don't think I am the only one thinking that.
If you have the opportunity to wtach this, go ahead, you won't regret it.
I hope this review will help people ! Have a good day, sorry for bad english and typos

I just finished it so this review may not be impartial.
Art - 7 : overall good aniamtion, fluid, blends in the current gen. I was not really fan of the face of Meliodas, the round nose, it looks like a 90's shounen, and I couldn't think about anything else. Also some of the armors are gross AF.
Sound - 8 : gound songs, ambiance music and sounds didn't hurt my ears, so it's cool !
Character - 6 : This is were it starts to hurt. The characters are interesting ! You have a giant, a fairy king, a demon boy, an immortal, etc... But due to
...
the format, you don't have any clue on who are those people ! I can't even tell you who is the main character ! We know shit on King, Ban and Diane a bit (and we don't even know why she's alone). Meliodas gets no exposition, same for Gowther, and my favorite is the seven's sin, whose name is told twice in 24 episodes. And I can't even remember it ! I would love to know why is Meliodas demon (or part demon, I don't know), where does Ellie gets her powers, and who the f*ck is Gowther.
Story - 4 : Same here, the 24 episodes killed it. The end of the story is rushed, we don't get to know why is there a second demon under the castle, we don't know why Ellie can use Deus Ex Machina god-like powers, and it goes on. So many questions ! It's so frustrating, even the characters kept asking at the end "Is this really over?". Well I hope not. I need some explanations.
Enjoyment - 6
Overall - 4
The rating seems bad, but I actually enjoyed 90% of the anime, I was just so disappointed to get to episode 24 without knowing shit about what the hell is happening to those people I barely know.
Love you.

It's been years since the last real gundam serie. Even if I personally appreciate Gundam Build Fighters, it's good to see real Gundams in real fight situations. But it's a long wayè to the top if you wanna be a good Gundam serie.
The art is marvelous, it's the main reason I started the show. It manage to get both old and new artistic aspect of the Gundam franchise into one design, making it really unique and absolutely gorgeous !
BVut beyond that, well, it's pretty useless as for now. The story isn't really built yet so I can't really judge on that, but what we know
...
isn't really appealing. Apparently, the characters here love to flip side, fight against their allies, and they didn't learn how to keep a prisoner, giving them full access to Mobile Suit and weapons.
It's only the beginning of the show, so maybe the characters will get a better background and some more interesting motivations, because we have a lot of trouble to like them as they do nothing.
The music is good, it reminds me of the old Gundam soundtrack.
And I think it's the idea behind this project, use the past of Gundam to build a new story with modern technology of animation. Which was expected from a 35-years anniversary show.
