Story (8/10):
What is love. Babe don't hur......... ahem sorry :D The show as i see it was about the meaning of love. Is it something that can surpass everything or something that can go beyond reason? or is it something that can bring happiness or even suffering? or is it only something about carnal desires? or is it the thing that defines humanity?
The other part of the show is about war it's reality and cruelty and the foolishness of humanity which can be both its best quality as well as its worst.

Story (8/10):
This was one weird anime. No not because it had guys who can sprout weapons and jetpacks and other weird stuff (which can be obviously called weird) but i call it weird for a different reason and that is that with every episode i watched the idea i had about the message delivered by the show changes. Was the anime trying to show the affect of gaining power can do to different people? or was it about the the definition of being alive? or was it about the effect of caring about something or someone? or was it about the purpose of ones life? ...... ...

Made in Abyss is a fantasy adventure anime they way it should be. It didn't constrict the characters in a fixed location but presented them with a setting with enough back story to be understood but still full of mysteries and opportunities and then it set the characters off in that world. Going on an adventure is not all fun and games and is full of risks and dangers and this show tried to show this often whither it's the survival methods or some of the gruesome situations as well as some of the interactions with characters and it was not overly done, the amount ...

The show was supper weird (but is a good way) it starts off confusing as fuck as you get hammered with a ton of information that makes no sense whatsoever (i had no idea what the fuck was going on 3 episodes in) but after a few episodes you get hit with the truth and everything starts to make sense. This method of presenting the story was definitely not new but it was really well executed in this anime. The movie introduces 2 unique worlds: The world of the Jinnouchi family as well as the virtual world of OZ. The pacing starts of slow as it establishes the worlds introduced but that doesn't mean it was boring on the contrary the introduction was quite a fun part of the movie. The show focused on 3 main plot points. The growth of both the MC and his love for aircrafts, the love story of the MC and a story of war an conflict (or antiwar and conflict to be precise). The show suffered from a major pacing issue that was caused by the amount of story it wanted to tell in the 2 hours it got. Some story points were stretched too long and some didn't get the time it needed to be told (for example: they introduced that German guy who talked about the German scientist "situation" but then went no further with that) ...

Story (8/10): Tamako Market at first glance is your basic "Cute girls doing cute things" anime that we have a ton off but it actually offers more than that.
