I only became a TWEWY fan in the summer but I loved it from start to finish, so I got kinda curious about the anime.
I did not expect too much, but I wanted to give it a try anyway and I'll be honest that I am not the biggest fan. I do have to compare it to the game, because that's how I know TWEWY.
One of my favourite things about TWEWY was the development about the characters, be it the growth of Neku opening up to people or Shiki's self doubt. And sure Shiki's doubt was bone pretty well, but Neku's growth was in baby ... steps in the game and in this game it was in jumps, so character growth is avarage.
The story is great, I love the idea of the game, however many days were just skipped and sure some may feel like filler, but others that were skipped were very bad becasue they'd add to the plot.
The artstyle of the games and the anime are all beautiful, so I can't complain about that.
The music is good, not amazing but really good.

So yeah, while I have a lot of love for the game, the anime was just mediocre, which is a shame because the TWEWY series deserves more love.
Hopefully, if they ever do an anime based on NEO TWEWY, they'll do it better with a NEO TWEWY anime.
