i finished initial d series few months ago, and what can i say, i really love it. so i decided to watch new initial d, to see how did they remake the first stage.
i'm disappointed.
lets start of with positive things.
art style is ok and animation is better than in original initial d. and voice actors tried their best to sound like original va for these chars, well, they are similar to my ears.
and now negative.
some characters look similar, at least to me. ryosuke is like takumi but with black hair, and kenji is similar to takumi too. we don't get too see much

nothing to say much here. i checked out the anime bc of sniper masks simps. at first i ignored it, but then i got on youtube so many recommended videos for this anime, so i decided to check it out.
i was interested at the beginning, but slowly it became kind of boring. then i thought - oh, this may be popular only because it has the character that a lot of people simp on. but nah, thats not all. it feels like the things are rushed. i like the ost, its kind of cool. the anime reminds me of these horror movies in which there ...

honestly, this is one of the best 2020 animes. i like how the author used sherlock holmes as inspiration and other criminal cases that are quite popular for 19th century. it also shows the problems people had to bear back in that time, and the characters are well written. this anime gives u the urge to read sherlock holmes books (atleast i have the urge to read them bc of this, idk about others)
