Black Jack
add

Both are episodic shows that focuses on resolving different "supernatural" cases. Black Jack is more realist as most of the problems are solved by human work, while Mushishi has its own world based on "invisible" beings (thus having a set of rules that wouldn't be applied to real life). Major difference is that Black Jack plot develops in a more modern scene than Mushishi, the latter transcurring in a kind of an old Japan era.

Both are sweet yuri mangas, with the difference that Yagate Kimi Ni Naru has its plot around the MC development, while Kase-san Series explores the challenges of the relationship.

Madoka☆Engawa
add

Both are yonkomas/4-koumas that are targeted towards the comedy genre, and shares a chibi artstyle. Homura Tamura focuses on exploring different timelines, while Engawa has the whole cast for the most part and explores the "daily life" of the group. In terms of length, both are pretty similar, but I personally find Homura Tamura to be more satisfying to read -and also the easiest to find to read.

Devil Survivor 2 The Animation
add

They both are some kind of a battle royale (however, Devil Survivor is less of this) and the characters uses mobile phones which has an special application, that lets them survive. Main character for both series, and also the main "antagonist", are almost the same in terms of personality, but Devil Survivor isn't as extreme as Mirai Nikki. As for general plot, while it's similar one to another, Mirai Nikki is more like Devil Survivor 2 Record Breaker's Triangulum path (original game), so it's more recommended for those who enjoyed the main game of DeSu rather than anime-only fans.

Devil Survivor 2 The Animation
add

Both of these series are an almost battle royale, where every character tries to survive each day. While Devil Survivor 2 focuses more befriending everyone, Btooom! is a more 'everyone is my enemy' style. > Both anime features an almost apocaliptic -or rather, extreme- scene. > While in DeSu 2 the MC tries to convince the rest of the cast to cooperate and survive, the different interests and the fear of betrayal appears at times. Btooom! also features this, but way less. >DeSu 2 is a more supernatural show, while Btooom! is a bit more 'mature' and realistic.

Akuma no Riddle
add

- Both series has a female protagonist who is good at weapons and/or killing people (El Cazador isn't that much gore as Akuma no Riddle, tho) - Both series are about an assassin who needs to protect a special person, who is being pursued by differents killers - Yuri but doesn't cover the whole plot, it's only few details However, one mayor difference is the fact that El Cazador de la Bruja is a more "open world" anime (Two girls travelling), while Akuma no Riddle is purely based on school. It also isn't a "battle royale" as Akuma no Riddle, but, instead, the plot is based around searching for something. Imo both great series, so if you liked Akuma no Riddle, you may love El Cazador de la Bruja
