At first the story was quite interesting; nothing new, let’s be clear, but it was a pleasant pastime. After the two protagonists started dating, however, the plot lost a lot and all the interest I had in the beginning began to wane. The female lead in particular (her name is Hachiya Nanami), at one point (especially during volumes 5 and 6) became too cringe. The only words that came out of her mouth were: "I really like you", "I love you", "I’m happy", "I wish we were together forever". The conversations between the two have rarely gone beyond this. Anyway, in general, every time Hachiya
...
opened her mouth, she said things that were either stupid or embarrassing. It’s a shame because, although even at the beginning she wasn't very smart, at least she was not entirely cringe. Fortunately, during the seventh and last volume it recovered a bit. As for the male protagonist, instead, after he began dating Hachiya, he started to give me the annoying feeling of being a too perfect guy... in general, he is a character without any particular feature; he is the classic "prince" of the school present in half the shoujo manga, beautiful, kind, popular and desired by all. The female lead is definitely more original than him.
There are "rivals", as in every shoujo manga, but fortunately they are not annoying, intrusive and insistent as it happens in most cases (except when in a chapter they start stalking the protagonists in an attempt to ruin their date, but fortunately it is a scene that lasts little and has no consequences).
In conclusion, the thing that bothered me the most was the excessive sweetness present inside the last volumes. The couple was so cute that they were almost unrealistic and irritating. Anyway, it’s a very subjective opinion, so you might find this nice. The part that I most appreciated was therefore the first, when the two protagonists fall in love; or rather, when the male lead falls in love with Hachiya (because she falls in love at first sight in half a second without even talking to him🙄).
If you are looking for a cute love story to spend time without expecting too much from the plot and characters, this manga is for you!

Why did I start reading this manga? It has been one of the worst decisions of my life.
“The female lead is strong, and she does not let herself get pushed around as the other shoujo’s protagonists do”, they said.
“The male lead is handsome and he hides a good and kind side”, they said.
Lies. Terrible lies. And the worst is that I always want to finish what I start. This means that now I am condemned to read every single chapter untill the end of the manga. Eighty-eight chapters. I will die.
The female lead is strong only in the first episode, then she
...
becomes a total idiot. Moreover, the male lead (who is called by everyone “the Black Devil”), is a crazy psychopath as well as a harasser. I will explain myself better: the Black Devil gets obsessed with the female lead, his life’s goal becomes controlling her, he kisses her multiple times without her consent (even when she starts going out with another boy) and, actually, he does even worse (he almost undresses her, again without her consent, and he leaves marks on her skin). And the annoying thing is that she does not do anything to stop him! Does he kiss her without her consent? She blushes and she does not do anything to get him off. Does he harass her? She falls madly in love with him. Does he treat her like a dog? She gets all offended but eventually falls in love even more because, deep down, "he is a good guy". I would also like to remind you that she has a boyfriend. So, yes: basically, she starts going out with a boy but, at the same time, she plays the lover and the dog of the "Black Devil".
I swear, I am losing my sanity reading this manga. There is no decent character in this story and the plot, in my humble opinion, makes no sense.
How do people love this type of plot and dream of a toxic and disgusting relationship like the one that these two protagonists have? I will never understand this. If I found a guy like that, I would fuck him off immediately, and I would slap him in the hope that he would come to his senses, but maybe it is me who is weird. I cannot even believe that the author wrote and drew clear scenes of sexual assault and painted them as romantic.
I hope not to kill all my brain cells trying to finish this manga. I will come back to update this review when and if I can finish this.

I noticed that nobody wrote a review of this manga, so here I am!✨
I do not think I will write much because I lost almost all of my brain cells while reading this, but I hope that this review is going to be helpful to you in some way.
The first few chapters are pretty enjoyable. We meet the protagonists, we understand more about their relationship, and we see them slowly falling in love with each other. Well, nothing new, but despite the clichés it was interesting reading it. Unfortunately, at the end of chapter 4, everything started changing; the plot and the characters became
...
more and more annoying and stupid. I will not say much about the plot because I do not want to give you too many spoilers, but I would like to write a few things about the characters.
- Male lead: He is the classic cool and popular boy that everyone likes. His childhood was super strange (his sister loved to make him wear girly clothes and accessories even though he hated it), but there are not many other intriguing things about him.
- Female lead: She is the classic cute, shy, stupid, and extremely short girl that discovers for the first time what love is and gets depressed over it. She is the kind of girl who cries like she never did before when she sees Male lead-kun kissing his girlfriend. Yeah, not a random girl; his girlfriend. And she had known for a long time that he had one. Anyway: at first, she is a good character, but after a while, she becomes so annoying and her stupidity becomes too much to handle.
- Guy 1 who likes the female lead: he is kind and not too stupid, but he disappeared completely after a few chapters of drama (and he probably found a new girlfriend almost immediately). He is useful only for a few seconds because, thanks to him, the female lead overcomes (more or less) a “trauma" she had, but it would have been the same if he did not exist.
- Guy 2 who “likes” the female lead: he was crazy. He annoyed me so much! If I were there, I would have killed him for sure. Damn, it was almost entirely his fault that my poor, innocent brain cells died. He has something like four girlfriends, and, at a certain point, he gets obsessed with the female lead. He kisses her at random every single time they meet, he forces her to become his “fake” (?) girlfriend so that she would have been able to get over her first love, and when the female lead wants to break up with him, he does not want to let her go (even though I did not completely understand why the girl needed his consent to break up… I mean, he has so many girlfriends and they do not even love each other so why?!). I cringed so hard every single time this character showed up. Maybe the description I gave you does not say much, but trust me: if you are going to read this, you will understand.
- Female lead’s best friend: she is the only reason why my brain did not die completely. She saved my life, really. She is literally the only character in this manga who is not annoying and stupid (I mean, sometimes she is, but she is a goddess if we compare her to the others). Moreover, she is the only human being in this story’s universe who does not like “Guy 2” and the only one who finds him suspicious. Right, because all of the other characters think that “Guy 2” is making the female lead happy and that when they fight, they are so cute.
I apologize, I eventually wrote so much about this, but these characters destroyed me, and I felt like I had to make you understand my pain.
Do I suggest you read this manga? It depends on what you are looking for. If you would like to read a cute, peaceful, simple, short manga, then this is not for you; but if you are trying to find a crazy manga and if you like reading shoujo with stupid and annoying characters because you are a masochist like me and you find it super fun to insult them every time as I did, then you absolutely have to read this. Even if I was slowly starting to think of throwing myself out of the window, I could not stop reading.

I was not prepared to see one of my favorite anime ends.
Then I finally did it, and I swear I have never cried like this before. Never. I got a headache from how much I did it.
Story: 10/10
Maybe I exaggerated assigning a score of ten over ten, and I know that. Despite this, I found the story so heartwarming and immersive that everything was just perfect to me.
I did not imagine this movie ending in the way it did but I was so happy when the screen finally got black.
I cried in the scenes when the girl traveled to look for Violet's
...
past, the doll who had written the letters for her beloved grandmother. I thought: "It happened, the story of Violet Evergarden ended; no letters anymore, no dolls, no post... everything is now in the past, and even if it is sad this is how life goes. Nothing lasts forever, but that's okay". I think I cried tears of joy.
However, this is not the part that struck me the most, nor it was when Violet and Gilbert met again. Of course, my heartbeat was fast as I was extremely happy for them and moved from that situation... yet, there is something I found even more beautiful.
The scene that destroyed me was when the kid at the hospital called his best friend and when his mother read the letters he had written with Violet. It was so emotional I do not even know if I cried of sadness or joy... maybe both.
I loved this movie, and I will watch it again if it is ever going to be available in my country.
Art: 9/10
I have always loved the drawings of the series, and I want to thank Akiko Takase for this. She did a great job since the start. And, of course, thanks to Kyoto Animation, one of my favorite studios.
The expressiveness of the characters, the quality of the drawings, and the graphics are excellent from every point of view... nine over ten deserved.
Sound: 10/10
This movie’s soundtrack is one of the most beautiful I have ever heard. I loved the two songs “Michishirube” and “TRUE”; they are extremely emotional and heart warming, and I like listening to them sometimes.
The sounds in the background allow the viewer to immerse themselves even more in the scene and it’s a wonderful thing.
Characters 9/10
Each character is special in some way, and all of them are completely different from each other. They are perfectly characterized; all their actions and reactions are extremely human, which is something I really appreciated.
We finally had the opportunity to meet Gilbert, and we understood why he had decided to disappear and leave Violet to live her life. His reasons are not without meaning, and even here, his character shows great humanity.
Enjoyment: 10/10
I waited so much to watch this movie and I was not disappointed at all when I finished it. I enjoyed every single moment, and I wish I could forget everything to experience it again.
Overall: 10/10
Maybe it is an exaggeration to give this movie a ten over ten and I am perfectly aware I gave more subjective opinion than objective criticisms; despite this, I am too fond of Violet Evergarden not to assign a score like this.

This will probably be a different review respect to the others. I watched this anime a couple of months ago and I was expecting more since everyone had praised it so much.
A friend of mine had told me many things about Jujutsu Kaisen and she had explained to me the plot and everything ironically by making fun of it a lot since she did not like it much. On that occasion, I was curious to understand who was right: her, or those who thought it was a masterpiece. Well, now I can say without a doubt that, the one who was right, was my
...
friend.
Let’s start talking about the reasons why I’m saying this:
Story: 6/10
The plot is very banal and there’s nothing I haven’t seen over and over again before. About this, all the epic speeches that the characters make gave me the annoying impression of being copied and pasted by a thousand other shounen anime. Again, nothing new.
Another problem is that time passes very quickly; this leads to not understand how many days, weeks, or months pass between episodes. Moreover, I did not find it easy to understand what was happening in the series for two main reasons: firstly, several things are not fully explained and must be accepted for what they are without asking further questions. Secondly, there are often very long explanations that last for whole minutes and they only confuse ideas even more. Of course, the fact that the banality of the plot was boring me to death didn’t help.
In Jujutsu Kaisen happen so many things, but at the same time, it looks like nothing happens. I mean, nothing useful.
To conclude I would like to talk about two minor “problems” I found: the first one is that the exchange event between the Tokyo and Kyoto jujutsu schools is completely useless. It is needed only because students are going to have to repel an invasion of the school. The second thing is the size of the school. There are very few people, but the school is enormous. Why??
Art, animation, graphic: 9/10
Animation is beautiful and exceptionally well made, as expected from MAPPA studios. The choreography of the fights is just perfect, and the graphics are amazing. I think this is the main reason why this anime had so much success and was so much appreciated since the rest is nothing more than discreet.
Sound: 7.5/10
I loved the openings (the first one in particular); even now that I finished watching this anime, I enjoy listening to them sometimes. The endings are okay and so it is the OST. 7.5/10 deserved.
Characters, final score: 6/10
Main characters:
The main trio is composed of Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura. Ehm, I mean: Yuji, Megumi and Nobara.
• Yuji is the protagonist of Jujutsu Kaisen. He is randomly overpowered (when he was still a human, he was able to do impossible things (and this is explained by saying that “he is good at sports”), is energetic and dumb. When his grandfather passes away, he gets over his death after something like five minutes; I’m not joking or exaggerating, trust me. Moreover, when Yuji eats Sakuna’s first finger as if it is a normal thing, without hesitation and without being too much disgusted, he becomes even more powerful. - (3.5/10)
• Megumi is the classical cool and stoic guy, but he is kind and he wishes to protect everyone. He doesn’t like to talk about himself and his past, and his backstory is not bad. I liked him and I think he is the most interesting character in the trio. – (7/10)
• Nobara is a proud and arrogant girl and she uses a hammer to fight. At first, when I heard about this character and her weapon, I thought it was a big, powerful, and magic hammer (Thor style). Well, it is not.
Anyway, her backstory is so banal that I haven’t been able to empathize with her at all. I think this is one of the biggest problems of this character. – (4/10)
• Gojo is one of the most appreciated characters of Jujutsu Kaisen and I understand why, but I don’t completely agree in saying that he is the best. He is cool and I found him funny more than once, but he is also overpowered and sometimes a bit annoying. I don’t think he is as special as other people think. Despite this, I liked him more than the other characters of the series. – (7/10)
Side characters:
The other students at the Tokyo Prefectural Jujutsu High School probably are more interesting than the main characters. Their backstories are good, and even if they haven’t got incredible and original personalities, I liked them. One of my favorites is Inumaki Toge because I think he is the most peculiar one. – (7/10)
Most useless characters:
-The protagonist’s grandfather is nothing more than a plot pretext. He dies with a magnificent and epic speech: “you are strong, you have to help others, it does not matter if you’ll lose your path because the most important thing is saving just one more person, die surrounded by many people…”. This is what Yuji will repeat to himself over and over again to gain braveness and strength. Personally, during that speech, all I thought about was: “why the heck is this person telling these things to his grandson? He knows that he is going to face curses and villains in his future? Why is he randomly telling him to save a lot of people?”.
-Iguchi and Sasaki are two other plot pretexts. They appear in the first few episodes, and we’ll never see them again.
I won’t give a score to these characters since they don’t do anything important or useful.
Enjoyment: 7/10
In the end, even if the banality of speeches and plot was annoying, I enjoyed watching it while making fun of no-sense events and laughing at characters with my friends.
Besides the jokes, it’s not too bad if you look at it with the simple intent of spending time and having a laugh. If you do not take it too seriously, it is an enjoyable anime.

After almost twenty years since Naruto came out for the first time, here I am writing a review about it. Better late than never, I guess.
Anyway, let’s start.
Story: 8/10
The story is nice and very enjoyable. Since I watched this series after many years, a lot of things were not new to me because I saw them in other anime, but it is perfectly normal and I decided not to take it into account while doing this review. After all, twenty years ago Naruto was very innovative and special, right?
One of the things that I did not like much, is the fact that many fights could
...
take about two episodes to end, but they instead last for over ten episodes. It wasn’t necessary at all.
Art, animation, graphic: 7/10
I decided to give the animation a seven over ten because I didn’t like it much and there were many mistakes, but I also have to consider that I’m used to watching new anime with amazing graphics. For this reason, the score I gave is seven over ten.
Sound: 8/10
I won’t take too long to talk about sound. I just want to say that I loved the main theme and the sad tunes were just amazing. Furthermore, I’ll always remember the “Natsuhiboshi” song from one of the filler arcs. It’s beautiful.
I liked the last few openings too.
Character: 7/10
I always write a lot about characters when I write reviews because I think they are one of the most important things to judge anime.
- The protagonist, Naruto, is a very energetic and dumb kid. He has to grow a lot and I hope to see a big development in Naruto Shippuden. I like the fact that he is not overpowered and that he is not the strongest among his friends; he still has many things to learn.
- At first, in the series, everything was about Sasuke and he looked like the main character. It was amazing to go throw the episodes and see him become aware that he was not the protagonist of the series LOL. Anyway, I found his back story extremely mysterious and interesting and I’m looking forward to learning more in the next series.
- Sakura… well, I didn’t like her, sorry. I found her useless and at first, I found it hard to watch Naruto because she was too annoying. After a while, I decided to take note of all the episodes in which she was useful in some way and the result is the following: more or less, four episodes over 220… and the problem here is that she is part of the main trio! Many side characters were more useful than her. I really hope to see her doing something more in Naruto Shippuden. And her personality… argh. The way she treats Naruto is almost unbearable.
- Other characters were okay, with nice personalities and interesting backstories. Honorable mention for Rock Lee: I loved him.
Enjoyment: 7/10
Talking about the story of Naruto, I didn’t consider all the filler episodes because I wanted to review only the canon events of the series. Now I have to.
41% of “Naruto” is composed of fillers and it is definitely too much. Some of them were good and enjoyable, but others were bad and even inconsistent with the original story. I found it difficult and sometimes boring watching them all. If it wasn’t for them, the score would have been 8/10, but in this way, it should probably deserve a six.
Overall: 7/10

First of all, let’s talk about the plot. It is very simple and watching it was like watching one of the filler arcs of the main series of Naruto, so nothing incredible. Despite this, I want to say that I really appreciated the animation and the graphic; they are much better than the normal episodes, so I liked them.
Characters are okay. Naruto is the same dumb energetic kid as always, and I like him for that. Sakura is a little less useless than usual, so great. Sasuke is cool as always, but he doesn’t appear much in the movie’s scenes.
The
...
villains are fine, I guess... we don’t really know much about them.
There is just one character I didn’t like at all: I can’t stand Yukie Fujikaze, one of the main characters of this movie.
She doesn’t care if the people of her country suffer because she is just “the poor traumatized girl misunderstood by everyone”. She helps the enemy and gives them important information without doing anything to stop them, even when Naruto tries to save her. Basically, she is a total jerk and I don’t really care if she suddenly understands that she was wrong in the last fifteen minutes of the movie (when Naruto almost dies) and decides to change.
In conclusion, I think that this first movie of Naruto was enjoyable, but I wouldn’t give a higher grade than seven.
P.S. According to which criteria do people die? Yukie falls from a 3-4 meters wall and faints, while Naruto falls from the sky and is perfectly able to walk and scream. Why!? It doesn’t make sense, and it makes Yukie even more useless. Well, since this happens in the series too and is a cliché in battle shounen, I think I’ll let it go this time.

This manga is pretty enjoyable, but we all have to admit that there are many problems. In particular, the premise itself of this story and other events make no sense. I will clarify soon. Before starting with this review, I would like to apologize if you find mistakes while reading this. English is not my first language.
The female lead, Mio, is an introverted and extremely shy girl who is not able to socialize at all. She does not even go to school because of something that happened when she was in middle school. Mio has a twin brother, Yuuta, and he is her complete opposite.
...
He has many friends; he is lively and full of energy.
First problem: now you are probably curious about the reason why Mio has become like that, right? Well, this is the no-sense premise I was talking about. In middle school, a girl from her class freaked out because Mio had lent a pen to the boy the girl liked. Mio had no idea that she had a crush on that boy, so the girl told her something like: “you are so inconsiderate, you were the only one who didn’t realize it!!”
For this stupid reason, Mio decided not to go to school anymore and she locked herself in her room. I mean- what the heck?! Are you kidding me? I thought you had been bullied for years or beaten up... but you just got yelled at by some dumb little girl for no reason!
Okay, it is time to go on because there is another thing that does not make sense (and it is also the second premise of this story). Do you remember I talked about Yuuta, her brother? Well, he falls in love with a girl but she will soon leave Japan to go study in Australia. Now you will think: "how unfortunate, this poor boy will have to wait for her for years! At least they will be able to talk on the phone, right?"
Yeah, I wish it had happened. Yuuta is so desperate that he asks his sister to switch life with him so that he can go to Australia in place of her (because their mother wanted Mio to go study there). For this reason, she will have to go live in the boy’s dormitory where he used to stay and try to behave normally with his brother’s friends. Oh right, you should know that Mio and Yuuta are both skinny and have short hair.
Anyway… Mio accepts after a few days, so Yuuta goes to Australia.
I do not think it is just me who thinks that this thing does not make much sense. Mio cannot socialize; even if she may look like a boy, she is still a girl, and… come on, living in the boy’s dormitory? Is Yuuta stupid?? If my twin brother (yeah, I have one) was like that, I would have killed him for sure.
Another problem (and the least problematic, to be honest) I want to talk about needs a spoiler warning. If you do not want spoilers, do not continue reading (it is about chapter 12).
Mio finally decides to confess her feeling to the mail lead, Rin (who knows she is a girl). How does she do that? In front of the whole school! A genius! Nobody knows she is a girl because everyone thinks that she is Yuuta. Well, I guess this could be some kind of revenge.
Luckily, Rin manages to make it look like everything is just a performance and nothing that happened is true.
The last strange thing is that in the end Yuuta returns and stays in Japan without any regret... like- really? After all this mess in which you involved your poor sister, you just give up your dream to stay in the same country as the girl you love? Okay…
I know I wrote many criticisms about this manga but in the end, I enjoyed reading it.
If you do not know what to do, if you want to fill your time, and if you are looking for a simple and cute love story, this manga is for you.

-This review contains spoilers from the 5th episode-
First of all, I would like to specify that I read the manga, so I will also take this into account in the review. I would also like to apologize if you find mistakes while reading this, but English is not my first language.
I wish I would have watched the anime before reading the manga because in this way it has just been a pain to watch every episode. At first, everyone said that it was a good thing that the mangaka was participating in the realization of the anime because she had the intention to change a
...
few things for the better, but now I cannot see any advantage in this decision.
In the manga there was suspense, many things were unexpected, much time had passed since the escape arc... the character development was well made too: Emma had time to reflect on her actions and she managed to learn many things. On the other hand, in the anime looked like everything happened in one second and almost nothing has been explained.
The thing that disappointed me the most was the fact that many interesting characters were eliminated. One of them, for example, was one of my favorite and in the anime, he does not even exist. However, I am not disappointed just because I liked him a lot. The fact is that he was particularly important for the children's development because he taught them to fight and to survive.
Something else I did not like at all, is Norman's return. While in the manga we all missed him much just like Emma and the others did, he came back after five episodes in the anime. Moreover, it was not an exciting, emotional, and "epic" comeback; it was nothing special, and it felt a little forced to me… I was extremely disappointed; I was expecting much more from this show.
In the manga, the ending is not that good, but at least it makes sense. In the anime, they messed this up too.
*Eternal applause*
When I watched the first episodes I was not satisfied, but at least I still had hope. Now I can say without a doubt that this season has no reason to exist.
In the end, I decided to give this anime a 5/10, but it probably deserves less.

(I apologize if you find mistakes while reading this, but English is not my first language)
The anime is about a man who, after his death, reincarnates into a child named Rudeus Greyrat. He soon discovers that he has been reborn in a world different from Earth, inhabited by men and demons and where magic exists.
Rudeus, especially thanks to the knowledge he already had from his previous life, manages to become an excellent wizard in no time. This leads him, after a few years, to teach a girl named Eris Boreas Greyrat and with whom he will live several adventures.
The plot is not something
...
completely new, but I found it good. Unfortunately, it must be considered that the most interesting part has only come to the end and the reason is simple: although the first few episodes were necessary to give a general idea about the story and the characters for future development, the plot is constantly interrupted by useless and, after some time, also annoying scenes. You probably understood that I am talking about the “fan service”. I usually do not care about it and I just ignore these scenes or have a laugh, but in this case, I have to criticize it. At intervals of between 1-5 minutes, be sure to find at least a reference to sex, and the protagonist drools behind every single female character he meets (his mother, his female friends, his teacher, the family maid… do I really have to continue?). This thing goes on for about 7/8 episodes until happens a catastrophe and the protagonist is too busy thinking about how to survive to think about certain things.
I would like to specify again that I am not criticizing the fan service itself, but in this case, it goes too far and it is almost unbearable. Not to mention the fact that, because of the latter, the emotionality and tension of numerous scenes are eliminated!
Fortunately, in the last episodes of the season, the situation improved a lot and the plot started to concentrate more on what was happening instead of something else.
I liked almost every character of this show and especially in the end, some particularly interesting ones appeared. Unfortunately, I had a hard time understanding Rudeus. He is undoubtedly a brave boy, has been able to face some of his greatest fears caused by the traumas suffered in his previous life, and, at times, also knows how to use his head well. It has been possible to see how much he cares for his friends or family and has repeatedly fought to protect his loved ones. However, at the same time, emotional and tense moments are constantly contrasted with others in which Rudeus completely detaches himself from reality and begins to fantasize about the women around him and his teacher’s panties... I understand that someone can find this fun, but I found it very annoying and I am sorry because his character really has potential.
In general, leaving aside the problem of fan service, I liked this anime and my final score is 7/10. Surely, I expect much more from the coming seasons.
