If you want a romance story where you feel like punching the MC's face, then Kanojo, Okarishimasu is the best anime for you. Kazuya Kinoshita somehow manages to be written as a disgusting combination of a wuss MC and idiot MC, and yet the story cannot work if he acted otherwise.
The music is great, and the animation is above average. And honestly, it's a good adaptation of the manga too. However, because of lack of empathy towards the MC, the overall story falls short and it also doesn't bring many new things to the library of amine out there.

The story was formulaic but worked perfectly. GP is only anime that I know of that touches on grey subjects such as human trafficking, gang activity, drugs, sex, etc. and still manages to be easygoing and enjoyable to watch. The art was beautifully unique with its wide range of neon colors, and the animation was smooth. The VAs were great too, and they actually had some of the best usage of foreign languages other than any other anime I have watched to date.
