My 2nd best Romance anime after Quintessential Quintuplets. This is a must watch anime if you are into rom-com. I understand some viewers cannot stand the toxicity of the female tsundere MC but trust me, this anime is like fine wine, it gets better and better towards the end.
Story 9/10
Started of as a slice of life, it is very enjoyable seeing the 2 MC interacting and doing silly stuffs together. Seems like a simple anime. However towards the end, the drama is jaw dropping. It is unbelievable how the writers manage to pull of such intensity in the story. Its really more than just a
...
slice of life, the depth of the story is what makes Toradora one of the greatest romance anime of all time.
Art 10/10
Now I know the art is not top tier compare to anime nowadays but bare in mind Toradora was released in 2008. It definitely deserves 10/10 during its time of release.
Sound 9/10
One of the most iconic bgm in Toradora is "Lost My Piece". This particular bgm is really a tear jerker. All the OP and ED are also top tier music. When I rewatch Toradora and every time I reached the episode where the 2nd OP is used, I know shit is going to get real (because the tone change from comedy to serious and intense drama).
Character 9/10
I really like all 5 of the main characters. Each one has a different personality which makes the anime interesting. The relationship between Ami and Taiga is also very wholesome.
Enjoyment 10/10
I still get goosebumps after rewatching for 3 times. This anime really sets apart from other romance anime. The best thing is it has more than 20 plus episodes which is not too short and there is a conclusive ending (please watch pass the credits).
Overall 9/10
There are definitely some flaws in this anime however it is easily overlook due to how good the other aspects are. A highly recommended anime for romance lover!

Normally I won't label an anime as terrible or thrash no matter how much I hate it because I know not all anime is for everyone. However this is an exception, Japan Sinks is indeed the worst anime I have seen (the only anime I give 1/10).
Minor spoilers ahead! (not like it matters because you shouldn't waste your time on this anime)
The first 2 episodes started well but after that everything went downhill. They killed all the characters one by one like AoT, trying to leave an impression for the viewers. It clearly didn't turn out well because each character died without meaning, they just
...
killed them for the shock effect without contributing anything to the story line.
The animation and art is the worst. I could not name any anime that is has a shittier animation than Japan Sinks. Its like the animators didn't even try at all. I feel so embarrassed that this show is categorize as an anime. No adaptation should suffer like this.
In conclusion please don't waste your time on this anime.

Normally Romance anime will have some comedy to make it more enjoyable, Ao Haru Ride however has a serious tone and no comedy at all. Surprisingly it is still my 2nd favourite Shoujo anime after Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun.
Story 8/10
The story is quite good. I really love the interaction between the male and female MC. The emotional scene is the best part of this whole series, I cried like a kid when I first watch the sad scene, even after rewatching this anime, I still couldn't hold my tears.
Art 7/10
I like the design of both the male and female MC. Other than that the animation
...
and art style is just mediocre.
Sound 9/10
I've got to say without the bgm this anime won't be that successful. Every time the ost "I Will" by Chelsey is played, it really gives you the feel. Ao Haru Ride definitely has high quality music.
Character 6/10
To be honest I have forgotten all of the characters' name. I don't particularly like or dislike any character because none of them caught my attention. They just seem forgettable.
Enjoyment 8/10
Enjoyed a lot and was disappointed that there was no Season 2.
Overall 8/10
This anime is an emotional roller coaster ride for me. Although I mentioned earlier I don't really like any character alone, I do like the interaction and stories happened between all of them.

Rent a Girlfriend is suppose to be a Comedy and Romance genre. The MC only sexualizes all the female characters, nothing romantic is happening at all. There are some "comedy" scenes but I didn't laugh at any of it, its kinda pathetic.
If you're looking for Rom-com anime, don't waste your time on this. The only good thing this anime has is ecchi scenes and fan service, the story has zero development until the last episode.
I'm not sure how this anime got 7.33 rating in MAL (as of I submitted this review). Its one of the worse, if not the worse romance anime I have watched.
...
The only reason I didn't rate it 1/10 is because of the beautifully designed female characters (but their written character as a person sucks though).
Overall rating 2/10

Beastars is one of the most disappointing anime I have seen. The concept of it is actually very refreshing and had the potential to be a masterpiece. However towards the end of the series I cannot stand where the story is heading and finally drop this anime.
Story 3/10
Its about racism and biological stereotype. In the beginning, the story was so good but then there are too many illogical things happening. One of the most notable is Legoshi, the teenager protagonist being able to single handedly defeat over 20 grown up gangsters. After watching that part I felt this anime is a complete joke.
Art 2/10
The art
...
is horrible. Animation is too stiff. I can't believe they screw this up considering the characters mostly has furs which should be animated smoothly or else it will look lifeless.
Sound 5/10
Very mediocre. Could have done better as I don't really feel anything at the emotional scenes (the bgm did not set the mood of the scene).
Character 6/10
Legoshi is actually a very relatable character. He is often misunderstood and labelled as a cunning, meat-eating monster just because he is a wolf. The other characters are just ok, they are not badly written but none of them really stand out.
Enjoyment 4/10
I was eager to watch the first few episodes and enjoyed it. The final few episodes really turn me off and made me drop the anime.
Overall 4/10
If you don't really care about illogical storyline or bad animation, you might enjoy this anime. However for me this is the definition of a terrible and disappointing anime.

Demon Slayer is a great anime. I agree it is not the best Shounen and has its flaws but it deserves its recognition.
Story 8/10
A very typical Shounen storyline. MC has a dead family and proceeds his journey to find a solution to cure his demon sister. Although this kind of story is recycled, Demon Slayer is somewhat interesting and managed to capture my attention.
Art 10/10
Art is aesthetically pleasing. Animation is very impressive.
Sound 7/10
Gurenge by LiSa is one of the most iconic anime song. Other than that there isn't anything good worth mentioning. I know many viewers favourite moments are ep19 when Kamado Tanjiro no
...
Uta is played but I seriously have no memory of that song because it didn't leave any impression to me.
Character 5/10
The characters in Demon Slayer are really annoying. Only Nezuko is cute and lovable. Tanjiro is ok I guess but I got annoyed when he gives compassion to all the murderer demons. The other 2 characters are really the most annoying sidekicks I have ever seen, both of them seem to be in the anime for humor purpose but I always cringe when they are doing some kind of lame jokes.
Enjoyment 9/10
One of the few anime that I got hooked easily. It is easily enjoyable for almost anyone. The only downside is I didn't get emotional or sad at all even though many others cried in ep19. It just felt very normal to me.
Overall 8/10
This anime is worth a try for people who never watch anime before. It is easily light and easily digestible for first-timers. There are definitely some flaws in this anime but it is worth watching.

The whole series is just about camping. No character development, no drama, nothing happens. And that is the whole point of this anime. It is one of the best "boring" anime I have seen. I can understand that many people do not like this genre (slice of life) because nothing happens but after a long day of work and tiredness, this is the best anime for me to chill and enjoy.
Story 9/10
Like I said nothing happens other than camping. Believe it or not I actually went to do research on camping spots and camping gears after watching this anime. This shows how successful this anime
...
is in portraying camping (in the end I had no chance to camp due to covid).
Art 10/10
The animation is so pleasing to the eyes especially the food. Almost every episode they will show a mountain or night scene which is literally porn to the eyes. The only thing I can't stand is the CGI of the vehicles.
Sound 10/10
To this day I will play the bgm of Yuru Camp while I do my stuffs. The music is very cute, soothing, and warms my heart. Both Op and Ed are also very memorable.
Character 9/10
Rin and Nadeshiko are my favourites. Rin is mature and cool yet pretty and cute. Nadeshiko is childish, energetic, and adorable. Both of them are very contrasting. I don't dislike the other characters, I guess they are just ok-ish.
Enjoyment 10/10
The whole series is very wholesome and puts a smile on my face. I don't know why I feel sad after each episode ends. Probably because I use this anime to escape reality, and yes this anime magically cures depression.
Overall 9/10
Yuru camp is definitely a masterpiece on its own but the reason why I didn't rate it as 10/10 is because it cannot be compared to my other 10/10 anime such as AoT and Steins;gate.

MHA is often seen as one of the most overrated Shounen. While I do agree it is a little overrated, but there is a reason why it is so popular and that is because this series is very enjoyable.
Story 8/10
The story is about superheroes and villains. The hero always wins and the villains always loses, it is very predictable. While many viewers categorize this as a childish anime (to be fair it is targeted for younger audience), however I do think the storyline and world building is pretty well done.
Art 8/10
The artstyle of the characters are a bit cartoonish-like. Surprisingly it is not that bad
...
and I really like the design of Ochako, she is so damn cute (props to her seiyu Sakura Ayane).
Sound 9/10
MHA did a really good job in this. The OST of this anime might not be my most favourite but it definitely made the series much more enjoyable.
Character 10/10
There are like a hundred characters in this series (maybe I exaggerated) but all of them are so well-written. I am most impressed by the strong and solid female characters, Ochako might be best girl for me but the other 5 are also very likeable and doesn't feel like extras.
Enjoyment 10/10
I instantly got hooked when I first watch this anime. Not because there are cliffhangers or plot twist, but because I want to get to know more about the characters and world building. Definitely worth a rewatch too.
Overall 9/10
It is a great show that I will recommend to other people. The simplicity of this show is what makes it good.

A very refreshing anime. This is the only anime I consider underrated (I have watched over 150 anime). Truly a masterpiece.
Story 10/10
No filler episode, good pacing and no beating around the bush. The direction where the series headed is very clear cut, it is about survival while stranded in outer space.
Although the story is simple and easy to understand, the plot-twist is really mind blowing.
Art 9/10
Art is pretty good, nothing much to say.
Sound 9/10
...
Sound is also pretty good, the ending theme always hits me at the end of each episode especially the final episode.
Character 10/10
Despite having 9 main characters, all of them are well-written (in depth) and all 9 of them are equally important in the series. I love the interaction between the characters. All of them has their own screen time interacting with the other characters and getting to know their back story.
Enjoyment 10/10
When I started this series I wasn't expecting myself to get hooked and binge-watch the whole series in 2 days. Each episode ends with a cliffhanger. I was always amazed at the plot-twist, there is literally plot-twist inside another plot-twist which is really jaw dropping.
Overall 10/10
I have only rated 6 anime 10/10 (AoT, Steins;Gate, Gotoubun no Hanayome, NGNL, Spirited Away). Astra Lost in Space is one of it. Will definitely rewatch this series again and recommend it to others

Your Lie in April is one of the anime which I do not consider a masterpiece despite the high rating. It sure has some sad scenes but I don't understand how everyone else cried in this anime. However I still consider this a decent anime, maybe slightly above average.
Story 5/10
As a classically trained musician, I was a bit disappointed at how they portray the competition scene. The piano judges was shocked when the mood of "Winter Wind" changes, this doesn't even make sense because all professional pianist should have heard of "Winter Wind" before. The pacing is quite slow, I feel that 22 episodes is
...
a little too much as nothing really happens in the middle.
Art 9/10
The art was quite good. I was impressed at how accurate they animate the piano keys and pedaling being played. The body movement and hand gestures of the musicians performing are very realistic compare to the real world.
Sound 10/10
The only reason I give this series an overall of 7/10 is because of the bgm. The music is really top tier and to this day I still consider YLIA has one of the best soundtracks compare to other anime.
Character 6/10
The female MC was the only character I like, a strong personality and gives good vibes. The male MC is kinda bland but to be fair nerd musicians are usually very bland. The other side characters are really extras and serve no purpose at all.
Enjoyment 6/10
I did enjoy most of the series but I will definitely not rewatch this anime. Some of the parts in the middle is really boring.
Overall 7/10
If someone asks me to recommend anime to watch, YLIA will not pop out in my mind first. But if someone asks me to recommend anime with good music, I will definitely recommend YLIA.
