An underrated masterpiece.
I mostly read fantasy/action media and don't really dabble in the more "slice of life" types. One day, however I was quite bored and decided to try something different. I saw a webtoon called "Odd Girl Out" under the heartwarming tag. Seemed cute enough so I gave it a try.

ONE OF THE MOST PROUD DECISIONS IN MY LIFE
I might be a bit biased, because I just like it so much, but I believe the overall story, the character development (in which pretty much all the characters get some background, so we can understand their motivations) absolutely baffles me. The characters feel alive, relatable, ... overall like real people you might have met in your life. I also really respect the fact, that friendship between the main girl characters is the most important theme (especially in the 1st part). This isn't something I see often, as most of the media taking place in high schools is romance only, or mainly. The 2nd part starts to have a bigger focus on the romance, but because of the character development that the main characters went through in the 1st part, it isn't an issue. On the contrary, it is nice to see how much they developed. (though my favourite character, who has arguably the best development considering their backstory, is missing... Please come back more often!)

Either way, I absolutely love it, it is a masterpiece and I think it ruined some manga/manhwa for me, because I don't believe I'll read something like this again.

1000% A RECOMMEND, READ IT AND YOU WILL MOST DEFINITELY NOT REGRET IT IF YOU LOVE MASTERFUL CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT, GREAT COMEDY AND GREAT OVERALL PLOT.

PS: The only thing I don't like about this series is the fact that I caught up, and now have to wait weekly for new chapters :((((
