"Fight the tiger yourself," the slice of life genre of the movie simply shown what it is to have freedom, to be healthy and to have dreams and a will to achieve it. A big round of applause for Kumiko a.k.a. Josee who undergo an enormous character development as the movie progresses.
"Wishing for someone else's benefit, not your own, will never make you vanish," its either that person is a relative or someone he or she loved. As Josee met Tsuneo, she became aware of the outside world that it isn't scary after all. That it is not full of hungry tigers living on

a desserted island looking for fish. Josee represents the fish and her home as the ocean where a fish couldn't take the land much to live. As the main characters got their heart wings (a term lang po), everything felt right. Dreams are to be sought and can't be left behind. "For when dreams go, life is a barren field frozen with snow," this quote was from the poem "Dreams" by Langston Hughes and greatly relates to the story.
After all of the drama, events, frustation and downfall, Tsuneo added his last dream, to Josee to be happy. I'm greatly impressed by the animation and the art. The environment was so realistic and the ocean was so overwhelming. Lastly, the soundtracks were goated, great job Eve!
