Amid generic isekai anime, or other copies of shounen anime, there is something really unique about these anime this season. Sentai Daishikkaku emerges in the midst of this generalization with something truly original, the anime uses a different premise from anime about "Ranger heroes", where the villain and the hero switch roles from the viewer's perspective, when analyzing the narrative that accompanies each side. Perhaps this is one of the most underrated animes of this 2024 season. And I will try to convince you during the review.
...
History
The main strength of the anime is the story. The anime has the proposal of show something never made before, show how much the villains in this anime are in a deplorable situation, whether due to a lack of physical strength, or also a lack of a stance against the agreement to which they are subject. The villains of this anime are immortal beings and weak in terms of combat, and the "heroes" of the anime are the total opposite. The narrative is as follows: the rangers after defeating all the "bosses of the villains", enter into an agreement with these immortal beings in which they spare themselves from using the divine artifact (this artifact can eliminate even immortal beings), but these beings must fake fights in front of the public against the rangers, for the pure entertainment of the human public, who stereotyped them as "evil", despite being weak beings and harmless. It is in these fights in which the villains must pretend that they have a "force" against humanity, that the rangers ridicule them to the point of using them just as a way to entertain the narrative that "heroes will always fight evil", although "evil" does not necessarily re-present a threat to humanity. The plot then places the Rangers as beings who command the force on earth, and the villains only have to obey them if they want to stay alive. This agreement continues for a long time until " fighter D" decides to go against this logic and reveals himself against humanity, trying to stop being a puppet controlled by the rangers. With the support of some humans, throughout history fighter D will obtain human forces and allies, these humans, because they disagree with the proposed plot so far, decide to go against "the rules of peace established human and rangers" and then to partner with D to to change turn in what seemed to be already established in the story from the beginning, bringing moments of conspiracies and twists to the plot throughout history.
With this new premise, the story follows D's attempts to achieve freedom in the face of a society idealized to one utopia what in which good must always fight villains, and thus eradicate evil. What seems like an ideology of peace, ends up in the anime being approached more as a form of entertainment, just as in fighting rings, the public is entertained by the fights, in the anime it is the same thing only that the result is always the same. As a result, in a way the anime brings a "philosophy" that the public currently only cares about with entertainment and, often, neglects others social factors, being egocentric enough to only think about rooting for the side that has the advantage. Yes, maybe I'm the only one or not, but I see this story that way, as a way of showing the twenty-first century society, which values moments of entertainment despite being momentary and leaving aside reflection on other social factors that in the anime would mean recognizing both sides, this idea is somehow represented by the character Sakurama Hibiki, who even as a human tries to understand fighter D's side throughout the episodes, even though he is introduced to religious ideals by his parents, he believes in both the rangers and the "villains", creating his own opinion about society.
Overall, this story is excellent not only because it is unique in the way it unfolds, with unpredictabilitys and schematized actions, the characters always try to calculate what should be done and always aim at an ideal specific to each. Although there are tense moments, the story also has a dynamic that, in a way, can lead to comedy in some interactions between the characters, but always placing the disagreement between "villains" and "heroes" in the plot.
9/10
Characters
They are truly unique characters, whether because they are on opposite sides than predicted by villains and heroes, or by the conviction that each one has, are intriguing enough to make the anime interesting throughout the narrative.
Now talking about some that have been notable so far, fighter D is a character who fights against something already established, which seeks a different result from that expected by humans and rangers, by revealing itself against peace and remaining faithful to its role as villain, from this one can already imagine an incredible psychological development of the character, despite not having any strength physically, he still refuses to accept his cruel destiny, fighting against humanity until the end.
The main Rangers, on the other hand, also have a unique ideal, that "peace", even though it is false and designed for entertainment, must prevail until the end, this narrative suggests in some way that they will do everything possible to stay on this idealized path without worrying about end results demonstrating that they are cold characters and that in front of the public they present a "false sympathy" as a hero to hide their intimate desires.
Besides them, the anime contains unique characters like Suzukiri Yumeko and Sakurama Hibiki, where both help fighter D on his journey ahead of the made with the Rangers. Suzukiri Yumeko has an intriguing personality, who truly desires a necessary "evil" for the world to leave everything more "interesting" from his own perspective, Sakurama Hibiki, as said before, tries to believe in what he has established throughout his life, even though full of faith imposed by his parents, he continued believing in the Rangers and later listened to the fighter D's side and formed his own ideal.
It is remarkable how much effort the author put into these characters, adhering to unique stories, development and personalities. With interactions that always result in progressing the anime's narrative, which helps to make the plot interesting enough throughout the episodes, due to this originality of the author.
8/10
Animation/sound/scenarios/Fights
Although the animation is not incredible, it is quite acceptable. The opening and ending are great, with engaging songs and perfectly matching the atmosphere of the anime.
The dubbing is good, most of the characters and their voice actors match perfectly. The soundtrack leaves nothing to be desired, despite not being that significant. The fights were mostly good, although the special effects are a little strange (like the smoke, or the movement of a character from one place to another), but I also find acceptable as they are not enough spoiling the experience. The anime still has an urban setting of a big city, even though it's not the main strong point of the anime, it doesn't come to be bad. The studio somehow did well in the adaptation, I don't see enough bad factors to ruin the overall experience of the anime, but I still think the studio could have done better with the anime.
6/10
Pleasure
Overall, I liked the anime, it's engaging enough to make you stick with the original proposed narrative. In addition to the narrative, the characters are, for the most part, memorable and interesting for the overall experience.
The story and characters are really specific to this "Ranger heroes vs. villains" kind of animation idea.Very reminiscent of Power Rangers, but with a different plot and unique characters from a series that involve twists and play opposite roles of common villains and heroes.
In general, it's a good anime, and it's underrated enough for many people, thinking it's a copy of Power Rangers, though it is something new and engaging even if it uses similar parameters.
7/10
I recommend this anime to anyone looking for something unique, exciting, and engaging. Even though it is about heroes and villains, this anime is not boring due to the plot developed in the course of the anime. Give it a chance and give yourself completely to something original and underestimated by some but that may surprise you in the way it develops everything that is proposed to the viewer, you won't regret it. ^~^

Tonari no Youkai-san is an underrated anime, and it has the potential to become a beautiful anime due to the way it presents its characters with stories that involve fantasy when using mythological characters(such as youkais and nekomatas), but seems as real as a person's daily life ordinary person, with their problems and healthy interactions.Trying to give this anime a chance, it's the same as trying to embrace a rich culture about the Japanese and their mythological legends, bringing in the plot, youkais and nekomatas, to a transparent and peaceful setting, where everything happens in a unique way and they evolve into something that helps them
...
rediscover themselves in a world full of diversitys when interacting with humans.
History
This story is quite engaging, I confess, something very original, especially in the direction in which the author decided to try to assimilate several stories into a single path in the narrative, Even though it seemed complex, somehow there was precision in each assimilation between the different dilemmas proposed in this anime, I will explain better.
The story focuses mainly on the social and family interaction between youkai/nekomatas and human beings. Where do these beings get going through transitional moments of evolution and also about moments of affection that happen naturally throughout the plot through socialization a harmonious and unique environment is created from beginning to end in history. Several characters are initially introduced, with their internal and external conflicts, whether human or not, they try to deal with their problems in the best way possible and, sometimes, a story connects to another, whether through friendship between one character and another or due to a biological problem of identity, since in this anime it is notable that there is constant evolution among the youkai , which requires someone who also had the same internal/external dilemma to help him. The story follows this plot, it's simple, but it's well executed. A problem arises for a character and others try to help him with this obstacle in order to maintain a prosperous and affectionate environment for everyone.Even in the simplicity of the plot, the way this road remains constant follows is really comforting to follow, it is noticeable how much this anime tries to highlight good coexistence through union between the friendships that are built.
The story focuses mainly on the characters Mutsumi, jirou and buchio. The anime begins with Buchio's evolution, where he tries to find his purpose in the world and Through his evolutionary efforts, buchio also focuses on helping all the humans who saved the worst moments of his life where they didn't let go of him even for a moment, with simplicity and love through your attitudes. At the same time Mutsumi goes through a dramatic moment, as she has to accept the loss of her father, who even without his presence in her life, there is someone who helps her regardless of family ties, and this is jirou. Jirou deals with a mysterious past and her work as a tengu. Jirou, mutsumi and buchio connect through affection, through their friendship and collaboration in their most difficult moments. Meanwhile, Buchio tries to find out who he really is and his purpose, so he asks Jirou for help, and in a way creates bonds never established before with other beings. And this way Follow the plot, this is a story where stories meet and help each other, they manage to socialize even with biological differences that doesn't stop them from maintaining a good relationship. In addition to these characters, This itinerary follows everyone in that small rural town, and naturally continues to connect strangers to become companions convivial surpassing limits that could be found in other animes about these mythological beings. Therefore, highlighting how original and useful this story about these beings during the narrative. 8/10
Characters
As said before, these characters always tend to maintain a good relationship and seek to constantly evolve. Each character has their own unique personality, be it fearful, anxious, cheerful, enigmatic and so on there it continues to be.The most curious thing is that the characters do not stick to a single personality, demonstrating, according to the moment, one ideal expression, for each moment of the plot.
The interactions between them are healthy and useful to their script and development, which facilitates the anime experience as a whole.Furthermore, it is notable how attached the characters are to their jobs and traditions; this effect helps to enrich the overall story of anime and shows how unique each character is, from your own way of living in these environments. 8/10
Animation/sound/scenarios
The animation is good, at various times the art (lines) along with the colors present in the anime, give life to a great scene, resulting in something ideal for this anime. This scenario focuses on that rural town, mainly, with moments of softness and in others with tense moments that require something more exotic. The soundtrack is good, it was used in crucial moments and was significant for the narrative. The dubbing is good, and it also contains an opening and ending with great songs, soft and serene, something that exactly matches the atmosphere of the anime. In general, the adaptation is good enough in these aspects, even if they are not what sets the anime apart, they were done spectacularly. 7/10
Pleasure
I simply liked everything, every moment was pleasurable enough for me to embrace this story and surrender to the unique atmosphere it provides. Each scene, episode, has its different essence, seeking to show how real the plot is, in social aspects, despite using mythological characters. I can enjoy everything about this plot, from the simple drama, to happy moments and contagious. It’s clear how engaging the story and characters of this anime are. For me it was the special surprise of the season from spring 2024! 8/10
I recommend this anime to anyone looking for something unique, with its gentle atmosphere and well-developed characters in the, Tonari no Yokai-san social environment turns out to be a great anime to relaxing and enjoy in a relaxed way, aside superficial details that other anime force you to follow for a good experience, this anime just with its engaging narrative manages to capture a unique and healthy atmosphere, where it remains well developed without losing pace and always maintaining consistency in what it proposes, delivering something truly original and meaningful.

Hananoi-kun to Koi no Yamai it's an embarrassing anime in many ways, which has had a terrible start so far, and even if this gets better in the future, it won't erase how depressing and weird this anime is at the beginning. If this story continues in what I will say throughout the my review, I would say that this anime could be the WORST romance anime I have ever seen. Even animes with shy and generic characters would be better than this(in romance anime).
History
By a coincidence of fate, Hananoi and the main girl (I forgot her name) meet in a
...
park and she helps Hananoi in the middle of a terrible storm, with a lot of snow, sharing the same umbrella for a very brief moment, hananoi falls in love madly, at that moment the narrative starts to get weird(yes, the story begins in this fantasy that emerged only from hananoi, something very unique, right? hahahaha what a joke this anime is), remembering that this happens in the first minutes of episode 1, which does not count as a spoiler;
What follows in the story is Hananoi's constant persecution of the girl who only helped, as she would perhaps do for anyone in that situation, but for him, that was enough.to make him fall in love madly. The boy becomes a totally different person from his previous personality and starts to pursue the girl, with the intention of making her fall in love with him, and this doesn't happen for a while, and even if it happens it clearly wasn't something natural, because he literally followed her for A YEAR, and besides, his actions to make the girl fall in love with him are extreme, where Hananoi puts her own health to the test just to try to get the girl's attention, becoming extremely embarrassing to follow a failed attempt to make her fall in love with Hananoi.
The narrative continues in this pattern, indicating that, it's clear that o author had no idea how to make this beginning of the story in a more natural and healthy way, and simply chose for a beginning that mixes romance among teenagers that actually emerged through with a chase, and that becomes disgusting of to follow following along the plot.
Long story short, it's about a boy who claims to be in love and pursues a girl, in order to make her fall in love, he does everything. Trying to forcefully create affection with someone is simply something horrible, and as said before, even if it improves the relationship and attitudes, the author opted for this narrative using poorly executed means, staying far from what I would say that it was a romance that it came naturallyand continued to a great level, sticking to a horrendous premise. 1/10
Characters
The secondary characters are the same as those found in any anime, "standard" without any highlight, they are just there to interact with the protagonists and nothing more than that. Hananoi is an obsessed and unhealthy boy, who tries to force an emotional relationship on someone and appears to have a chaotic past due to the way he resolves his feelings that arise in such a way superficial and then turns into something more disturbing. The main girl is simply without personality, she is someone who can be easily manipulated due to her naivety.there are moments when I see her more like a robot, as she lacks feelings at certain moments.
It is clear that after what has been said, interactions between them are expected in the worst possible way, whether due to superficiality or strangeness in a lack of communication and expression of feelings that are really real, in that the author did not know how to to create ANYONE, absolutely NOBODY who is at least average in the middle of this embarrassing narrative. The studio even tries to give expression to the characters by sticking to colors clear in moments that need to express what each character feels, but this even worsens the experience as a whole, leaving everything just weird. 1/10
Scenery/sound/animation
The setting is normal, not bad nor remarkable, it's forgettable. The opening and ending are a little good, but nothing too admirable. The dubbing is good, the soundtrack is also good. The animation is average, there are times when the studio highlights the colors of the animation in an attempt to give life (emotion) to the narrative but these are rare moments, for the most part the animation varies between bad and something good operation , therefore becoming something simplistic, with some strangenesss at certain times. Even though most of the time the animation is bad. 3/10
Pleasure
Did I enjoy watching this? No, at no point was it so terrible in a way that I simply expected that each episode would pass as quickly as possible because it was exhausting to watch to this. Can it improve in the future? Yes, it has potential. But that beginning was the culmination of the abyss of bad that became try to follow the plot. The studio tried a few times to add emotion to this but... it didn't work. 2/10
In conclusion, I wouldn't recommend it, even if the narrative improves in the future, the plot still lacks better characters, because without that the experience would still be bad, apart from the terrible story it still has scenarios and animation that are not very notable for the credibility of a good experience, disturbing the viewing of the anime as a whole. There are several good romance anime out there, don't waste your time on it, because it's not worth it, you won't find anything good in it. I will continue watching hoping to have a different opinion on the story, that is, hoping that it improves at least a little this terrible narrative.

Wind breaker it's basically an anime about teenagers who, through unity among themselves, defend the city they live in against all possible dangers, at all costs. Creating a type of "good gang", where they also enter into territorial conflict against other possible gangs due to ideological differences. This anime tried to do well in this plot, but failed miserably, despite being generic and having other points "weak"in your story ,like any other anime, there is also something good in it. I'll explain why.
History
...
Much of the story I have already summarized previously, it is something very common to find in the anime industry, this type of plot is also not difficult to execute due to it not requiring a good level of depth in its story, with the joining of superficial characters and conflicts between gangs that can be justified by the simple fact that one group disagrees with another. I generalize this idea precisely because literally EVERY anime I've seen about gangs approaches this type of content in this way, some perform in a terrible way and others are average, mas seguem o mesmo fluxo.
The story focuses character Sakura(man, maybe the translator puts it as a woman hahaha, but it's a man) , who, due to the psychological pressure suffered during much of her life, tends not to trust any,who see that through the struggle, with an ambitious ideal, focuses on reaching the top of bofurin school. It is through this school (bofurin) that teenagers unite against the threats that may arise in the city and together, t try to face all these possible dangers. And that's it, what follows from then on in the plot is just fights and the appearance of generic gang anime characters...
It's a tiring story and tends to be ideal only for an audience of teenagers aged around 12 to 17, who like such Not necessarily, it's a bad thing, I just find it tiring, because this is common in all anime about gangs, it's like it's a copy of other anime. I think it's clear, right? What I meant; I just pointed it out here, because originality is something that doesn't exist in this anime, and this is something that is highly sought after by the public in any type of animation Japanese. 5/10
Characters
Now about the characters, as previously speculated, they are superficial, as when presenting personalities typical of any anime (and I'm not just referring to gang ones) they are tedious to the point of disturbing the experience, author uses the typical personalities of: "the angry one", "the self-centered one", "the one who lives happily", "the one who likes to fight (almost the entire cast is like that)", due to this, I couldn't take any of them seriously, and not even like anyone because of that. Due to the lack of building solid characters with lack of in introducing characters unique, become the main weak point of the anime.
is clear that the author showed no concern for originality or commitment to developing these characters, in most episodes it is tedious to follow his forgettable lines and actions.
Furthermore, the interactions between them do not help the plot either, without naturalness or with confusing lines,
resulting in a peak of boredom absolute during the episodes. Adding this to the generic plot and this superficiality, you can imagine why I wouldn't recommend this anime. 2/10
Animation/fights
In the midst of these two weaknesses mentioned before, there is only one salvation in the midst of this. I'm referring to the animation and fights choreographys.
Not only the fights but also the great animation, during the episodes, is perhaps the only good thing about this anime. Maybe it's the difference, because most gang fight animes have horrible animation, that is, with the failure of the narrative and poor execution of characters made by the author, the studio involved tries to save the anime with its clean animation and solid enough to last more than one episode, and that's a good thing. What proves my idea is pay attention to see the of the manga and compare it to the anime(a pontuação de ambos), it is clear that the studio involved saved the failure that would be this anime, through good animation and good performance in adapting in the fights.
That said, even with the studio showing this potential in adapting this anime, in its fights and with good animation, it is not enough to bring a pleasant experience, due to a lack of originality and material with a good, engaging story. It's because of the studio's good animation that perhaps audiences between 12 and 17 rated it well, or some who don't fit into that age group, just because it has good animation doesn't mean necessarily be good, the anime. 8/10
Soundtrack/sound/dubbing/scenario
The anime has an unremarkable soundtrack, the opening and ending are good, despite my dislike of the music, but that's something subjective.
The dubbing is average, the voices of most characters match their personalities and attitudes a little, some are strange but not all. The scenery is well done, the combination of colors matches the general ambiance of the anime, with city buildings well done and scene sequencing being is even good.
The good studio's performance is also clear in these aforementioned points, but I still see them as insufficient for the overall animation japanese experience. 5/10
Pleasure
It has animation that makes you want to watch and the fights are well executed, but the pleasure in watching this is momentary, because from the moment a conversation starts I feel uncomfortable. embarrassed enough to watch it interactions superficial between characters, there is not much desire to follow the episodes, But I keep watching hoping for a good outcome for this unfortunate plot, which appears to be written by a rebellious teenager from highschool.
The lack of creating something unique and with development, throughout the episodes becomes increasingly clear, with the characters' shallow ideologies of "I must protect the place I live", is something noble but at the same time not showing any pleasure in following these ideals of teenagers who think they are a typical "super hero" from a common shounen manga. It's all so superficial like saying you're going to live a fantasy, and it's tedious to the point that you just keep following it just for the fights and good animation , that's all, as it lacks an engaging plot, unfortunately. 3/10
I don't recommend this anime due to its lack of originality, mainly, but also due to the terrible characters that are presented. But if you're just looking for fights and good animation in an anime, go move forward, because here in this anime, it only has this as technical quality and that's all and nothing else. Now if you like something really engaging and developed with transparency through the unique way in which a plot about teenagers unfolds, don't watch this. Make no mistake, a well-rated anime at times , it only gets rated well because it has something good, and this in this case is the animation and fights. And nothing more than that.
