Tsuki to Yabanjin

Tsuki to Yabanjin and Ouji to Kotori both explore the basic premise of a foreigner getting lost/trapped in an Arabian desert, where upon they are taken under the protection of a Arabian prince. The characters are also alike, with the ukes in both stories being physically weak, and of a kind and resilient nature (i.e. very cute), and the semes being dominant, intelligent and noble (i.e. very sexy). In regard to story lines, the mangas differ quite distinctly, but both present plots that are interesting and well-thought out. Personally, I prefer Ouji because the plot involved some dark concepts, which I love (in comparison, Tsuki is quite a fluffy manga). Overall though, both manga fulfilled that craving for an exotic and slightly forbidden romance!

If you looking for another cute high school BL romance, then Starlike Words is for you! The protagonist couple of both mangas are quite similar in terms of their dynamic within their relationship - there is the quiet tsundere character, and the upbeat and sensual character. Furthermore, in both stories, the romantic relationship between the protagonists is built gradually (although the ecchi scenes are not paced slowly at all ;) ). Art is also fantastic in both mangas, as are the warm and fuzzy feelings they leave you with.
