Oh yes, I am familial with the Monogatari series indeed.

In fact, in my former MAL account Bakemonogatari featured among some of the anime I had seen. However, the series overall complexity when it comes to storytelling, constant emotional rollercoasters on pretty much all of its episodes, and text fliching on-and-off from the screen pretty much at all times made ,e drop the franchise for a long, long time.

It is not that it is bad per se (it is not), it is just that it's not the type of series I would normally consume. I tend to enjoy more low-stakes slice-of-life comedy shows of similars. You can always look at my list for animes I have already seen or am planning to, all these pretty much define my taste in the medium and you can get a general idea of what I like once you see it.

Speaking about recommending animes, have you seen Paniponi Dash? It also has a unique and quirky cinematic style, just like the Monogatari series, and indeed, was made by the same people in fact (it's an early work of studio Shaft that predates Monogatari). It's legit one of my favorite comedy anime ever, has pretty good characters and the music is straight-up fire. It's peak early 2000s Japanese internet humor and you should give it a chance, I genuinly think a person like you would enjoy it, lol.

I'll admit, I am not really knowledged about Aquaplus nor none of their visual novel adaptations since I first stumbled into the To Heart series a few months ago while browsing randomly on the internet, not knowing anything about the IP or who made it to begin with in the first place, lol

If you look through my list, you'll notice many of the animes I have added under the "Plan to Watch" category fall under the "romance" umbrella. This to say, romance does not represent a problem for me when it comes to watching anime, nor media in general. Historically, some of my favorite franchises have included that element in them in some capacity or another.

Thanks for the recommendation, tough, I will add it to my list as soon as I have the time to do so. In the meantime, feel free to recommend me any other anime that you believe I would like, since you seem to be more informed than me in general about that topic.

yup, kinda sad that the character models wont be the same, but at least it will be truer to the LN. I will miss having a cute Holo :(
