Both revolve around attractive female lead(s) who work for/with police trying to keep their cities safe, Yuugen Kaisha(or "Phantom Quest Corp" as I first knew it) has a supernatural theme to it while You're Under Arrest is more "slice-of-life" like. Adventure, comedy, action and little romance can all be found in both series. Both from 1995/6 with decent graphics and added bonus: good dubs. Worth noting "Yuugen Kaisha" has only 4 episodes while "You're Under Arrest" complete TV series has 96+ episodes excluding the movie, OVAs and specials. I think if you liked one you will like the other.

1990's old manga dealing with delinquents, allot of fighting and comedy. Both have very unique male leads who slowly change the initial opinions of the people around them from negative to positive. even turn enemies to believers, earn respect and become somewhat heroes some of the people around them while also unintentionally forming a posse (gang, clan, group of friends or w/e you wanna call it ).. Stunning female leads who imo look alike, the art is also similar, there is some romance here and there, easily the best part of this mangas is the colorful and hilarious cast, main and supporting characters. Both highly recommended if you want a good laugh and something different from the usual, both are silly and juvenile but I love that about them.

Cheesy perverted characters, even crazier antagonists and enemies. Both can be creepy at times with the antics of the characters. One has mecha the other doesnt. Both are ridiculous, full of ecchi and some hit and miss comedy.

Mecha, Action and Ecchi in both. Both males are capable fighters in their own right and likeable without many shounen cliches. Both males have a female watching over them stopping them from getting into any potential dangers and mischief. More similarities to come as the show progresses. If you like one I do believe you will like the other

Both school life, slice of life genre mangas about the female leads trails as they try to navigate through school life and the world around them with a disability ( one is deaf, the other has a speech impediment ) and how they attempt to overcome things like bullying and making (new) friends and some romance here and there.. Both have a male lead supporting the female lead. Both can be sweet or sad at times.

Romance comedy slice of life with a female delinquent in Yandere Kanojo is and male in Hana-kun is male. School settings and both could be labeled "Fast Romance" with Yandere focusing slightly more on the comedy and its seinen and Hana-Kun mostly on the romance and its shoujo.

*Perverted female love interest in both. * Both females are tsundere. * Males leads are also simmilar. *Even the situations are very simmilar, convinced B Gata H Kei was part inspiration for Yanagida-kun to Mizuno-san. Everything about this 2 manga's is simmilar to the other, from the not so popular male leads to the school settings to how the female leads interact with the male leads. If you like the one you will absolutely love the other,Yanagida-kun to Mizuno-san has much less chapters than B Gata H Kei but still delivers the same feeling of satisfaction as short as it may be. I would say biggest difference between this 2 is nudity level, B Gata H Kei is "seinen" for the more mature readers(some censorship) while Yanagida-kun to Mizuno-san is hentai (nothing is censored AT ALL) with a decent story =X. Both are more than worth a read and highly recommended.
