The marketing team went really hard on boosting the PR of this show and it was engineered to draw in all its viewers with its wacky cast where they do all kinds of silly absurd shenanigans. The marketing campaign of this supposedly funny show really reeled me in and had me thinking it's going to blow our socks off given the wild premise, and the clips shown on the trailers truly looked promising as a comedy show.
Unfortunately, I let myself get dragged into the hype train and I let my expectations get inflated because of it. Koshitan overplays her straightman character to the extent

of being a complete annoyance, and most of the punchlines of the jokes being played do not even land well either. The jokes are bland and repetitive, and given that its supposed to be a comedy show rather than your typical SoL/CGDCT kind, it's really fumbling the bag. Koshitan really keeps on screaming like a broken record and it has gotten incredibly repetitive.
The cast feels very bland and one-dimensional, and there's no overarching story - the show does not appear to have a character driven plot either. There's no variety or substance in the background music - and often times, the music gets so distracting, it makes you lose focus from the joke itself that's being played out. Besides the opening music and the ending music, all other soundtracks in the show is just awful - none of them helps with the comedy either since the comedic timing always feel off/or dragged on for too long.
The 4th wall breaks are uninspiring and uncreative - Fist of the Northstar parody has been overdone so much in other series, it would've been a breath of fresh air if this show did something else differently to play a joke. Other than this overused parody, there hasn't been a lot of other pop cultural references, besides the Spiderman 3 one - it was mildly amusing for that to suddenly pop up, but it wasn't anything funny or hilarious to laugh about. Seeing the "You're Dead" reference in the trailer clips gave the impression the show would probably use pop cultural references of recent times to uplift the comedy in the show, but so far, it's been disappointing in that regard.
I really wished to like this show more - but this show fails to be funny and it set itself up for failure from the get go given how much hype it built with the show's marketing shitposts. If you're coming into this show expecting a hilarious comedy, you'd be better off watching something else as this show isn't remotely funny as the marketing campaign made it out to be.
